And back I am. Exhausted, certainly, and may need a while for that to wear off, but I'm once more here to read and even write!

Should have been writing posts. Took part in D&D shenaniganry instead. Got to fix that tomorrow.

There's a lot of backlog here on my end. I'm trying my best to lessen it, but replies might be less frequent for a time. A welcome change from the nothing doing I went through though! Thanks partners!

Bio

I suppose it is about time for me to copypaste fill in some information about myself over here just as well. Only took me a few years to getting around to do it.

I am a married individual in my twenties from the country some people dare claim does not exist. The Finland conspiracy is an old joke, you can stop with it now. Not a native speaker of the English language by any means, though I did begin studying it exceptionally early for our country's standards. I suppose it was some sort of a test case. With that out of the way though, what more should I be saying here...
  • I like being nice to people. If one needs to ask why, well that alone is reason enough.
  • I play and Dungeon Master Dungeons and Dragons, both offline and in the past also over here.
  • I enjoy OOC chatter, be it planning the RP or a more casual exchange (not that RP'ing is that serious). I can make do without, but don't be afraid to talk to me.
  • Whatever the case, I'm here to have fun and hone my writing abilities!
I do think that should about cover it, yes.

Thanks for stopping by I suppose! I do also have a Discord account, but I prefer to start anything RP related on the site. At least with people I don't know from the past, that is! But hey, now if you are a longer time contact of mine and happened to read this, now you know and can ask!

I, too, would like to ask you to link your rolls, even though you ran them by me in private discourse @Gordian Nought. Advantage was accounted for.

It is now Brannor's turn @The Harbinger of Ferocity. As we've established about object interactions, you may indeed drop your sword and equip your bow if that is within your interests.
Wrong tab, that one. I'll drop in some flavour text to compensate.
The insult reached the ears of the glowing rider who had just recently lost his sword to a running cleric, but the man did not let it bother him much, if at all. A statement came back to Parum, biting at the weak point of the quip: "Renthisjic wer ir svaust enelic shafaer prekitr itrewic di laraeki! Vur ti tangis shafaer jacioniv kurjh!" Despite all that, it was very much clear that the Bard's worries were well founded. The rider was tugging on the reins of the horse, preparing to withdraw.

@Lucius Cypher If you would like to cut the reins apart, certainly. Otherwise he is likely to stay on.

@Norschtalen You have acquired yourself a scimitar.

It is now Parum's turn @Ryonara.

@Hekazu
Yeet. And since I’m Recklessly Attacking now, I got a 17/14. If the 17 hits, Orchid is swingig for an awesome 11 slashing.

That will score a hit and take them down. Map will be updated to reflect this after the next turn. Technically speaking Reckless Attack's benefit is only in effect on your own turn (it does not last the whole round like its drawback does, sadly), but the first roll connects either way.
Fair enough, though I should let you know Orchid is going to pop his Reckless Endrance when he gets taken down the first time. If the cultist doesn’t strike at Orchid a second time, he’ll try to take a slash at the dragon claw as his AoP.

That is fair. You are free to roll.
The sudden change to the champion, their newfound bestial shape specifically, was too much for the horses of the cult. Not trained to endure such stress, they bolted in many directions, with only one exception, that being one of the Dragonclaws managing to keep his under control. The man bit his teeth together as he yanked on the reins, guiding his vulnerable flesh away from the strike of the roaring barbarian, and though the strike found purchase, it merely wounded the man instead of opening him up for death. But with the powerful move of the half-orc came the consequences. A reckless strike gave an opening for punishment, and the cultist whose rank was above the rabble already cut down by the heretics was more than ready to exploit it.

The scimitar of the rider cleaved a bleeding wound into the side of the barbarian too simple to understand greatness, and even in the simpleton's rage it was enough to cull the herd of these nonbelievers. More would follow in due time, the Dragonclaw knew, and brought their blade down once more, now upon the ursine form of the druid. The steel found purchase once again, whittling down on the defences of the heretics, but by then even the one consumed by the fervour of battle would notice the urgent need to regroup.

The two riders both took off onto the path the prisoner snatching adventurers were obviously planning to take, and though the horses of them both were deft and knew how to preserve themselves, the riders were less prepared. While the one further away took back control of his mount, the aggressive one barely avoided the swinging claws of the bear, ready to pay back for the harm caused upon their companion. For now, they would only strike empty air, however.

"For Tiamat's glory!" the two still remaining riders called out their battle cry as they prepared for another assault, now from the front.

I cannot allow that, @Lucius Cypher. If you roll with advantage, you have used something to gain the advantage. Scouting it beforehand like that is abusing the system, I find. In case of disadvantage, I can factor that in myself or ask you to provide the second roll. Were it not for the fact that you can pop advantage whenever you want, I might be willing to look past this, but since you have the at-will ability, it cannot stand. I hope you understand.
@Lucius Cypher Looking at your dice log, it seems you have rolled your attack roll twice. I will take it you forgot to mention using Reckless Attack, so I'll factor it in on the turn of the two Dragonclaws. Anyhow, time to get to posting.
Its Statistics, other than its size, are the same in each form.

That was the area of issue I came across when I read the ability from the character sheet over again, @Hekazu.

As far as I can gather, that is included thanks to the Animal form indeed being Large. But since the Hybrid form seems to remain Medium, I suppose there is no change to be made?
