"Almost there...as in, almost to Giruvegan, then." Nadeline replied rather thoughtfully, a hand to her chin. "While the voice is somewhat concerning, we have no choice but to press onward, then. At the very least, we are close."

"That much is obvious." Grant said. "The part that concerns me is 'hurry'. Who--or what--would actually want us there?"

"Perhaps the Esper in Giruvegan is calling Jaakuna?" Nadeline offered her own explanation.

"If that were the case, wouldn't it make more sense for Emiri to hear it? She's the one that unlocks them. Yet Jaakuna is the only one that heard the message." Grant pointed out.

Emiri herself shook her head. "It doesn't matter. We keep moving. If anything, it can guide us to Giruvegan...so that we don't end up like the other travelers that tried to find it." She told them all. "If it appears again, we follow it. I say if it offers us its aid, who are we to refuse it?"
A while back, Emiri remembered that for one reason or another, she was possessed by the urge to climb a mountain. Never mind the why, she just knew that as an adventurer, she needed to do it at least once in her life. And so after getting the gear and a team to go along with, she went mountain climbing. It was an experience like no other, and the end result was not only a fantastic view of the entirety of the Paramina Rift, but they had gotten a rare piece from a rare monster they slayed. Still, the one thing she would never forget even if she tried, was the fact that the higher they got, the harder it was to breathe. It was a sensation that actually somewhat scared her, whether she wanted to admit it or not.

That was exactly how she felt now.

Her breaths were long and deep, though her head felt somewhat light. The only thing that amazed her more than anything was the fact that she was literally the only one who seemed affected; the rest of the party carried on. She couldn't even feel the cold anymore, she was so damn focused on being able to breathe properly. She ended up trailing behind, though she pushed herself to keep up. Eventually, however, the group came to a stop, and she ended up walking right into Grant. The raven haired man looked back at her, quirking an eyebrow. She offered him an apologetic look, and instead listened as Jaakuna claimed to hear a voice.

"Jaakuna, dear, you just said it... 'In your head.'" Nadeline pointed out.

Grant decided while the group was distracted with Jaakuna, he would turn to Emiri. "I admit my surprise. You always were overly sensitive to Mist." He told her quietly."I think you're doing quite well. Just stay close, I know you don't want to alert anyone."

Sensitive to Mist? Is that what this was? It did make some sense. She always did react differently in these dense places, and it would explain a lot. She scratched her head lightly, looking at Jaakuna. "Alright. Thank you." She replied just as quietly, though she did step forward. "Do people usually get affected by Mist?" She asked Nadeline.

"No. Mist is, well, exactly that. It's not supposed to affect our bodies enough to make us hallucinate unless it is a very high amount--like the Dawn Shard." She replied. She then looked at Jaakuna. "May I ask what the voice said, exactly?"
And thus the fight began. Grant eyed the creatures in the distance as he took out his gun. No shots, they'd be much too loud and probably end up attracting every monster in the area. Nadeline ran forward as well, her attacks swift as she stabbed the Tartarus in front of her several times. She jumped back as Emiri went forward and delivered the finishing blow. Grant extended his hand towards the Tartarus that remained. "Darkga." A surge of powerful Arcane magic surrounded the monster, and it soon erupted. It pierced through the monster, and as the magic disappeared, its body dropped to the ground soundlessly. He wandered over to Emiri, lightly dusting the snow off her cloak, and the group now looked at the Giruveganus and the two Behemoths in the distance.

"Do we take them on? Or do we press forward?" Grant asked the group. "We have yet to be seen. We can still go around them."

Emiri shook her head. She had estimated them, but the weather was hindering her senses. She should have been able to anticipate the Tartarus. Going around only meant that there was a possibility of another ambush. "Yet it is best if we cut a path forward rather than risk setting off more of them." She said.

"I think we should avoid them." Nadeline cast her own vote.
;A; I just want some interaction ;A;
He acted like a few Beowolves would be a problem. She didn't know if it was her lack of nervousness, but she felt more than ready to take them on. Nevin would then start running ahead, and he would be the one pulling her along. His Semblance was just so weird! But in a good way. It definitely would take some getting used to as he said, that's for sure. Aurelia nodded at Nevin when he asked if she was ready, brandishing Rampion and grasping it with both hands as he released her hand. As the Beowolves approached them, a glyph appeared beneath Aurelia as she cast her spell. Nevin easily took care of the first, leaving only the second. Lines of red scribbled into circles under her, and once completed, Rampion's jewel sparked red. She pointed her weapon at the Grim, and from it erupted a powerful fireball of sorts. It blasted through the beast, and Aurelia lifted her staff to her. It was unintentional, but she did notice she had cast a fire based spell, same as Nevin did; it must have been a result of being linked with him, so to speak.

"Close range combat is not a strength of mine, but I can fight well enough to defend myself." She replied. "Rampion is durable enough to be used as a melee weapon, so yes to both questions. I'll have your back, so you can count on me."
"Little bread-and-butterflies kiss the tulips, and the sun is like a toy balloon..."

Artemis brandished her sword to her side, eyeing the enemies in front of her carefully. Three on one, at her own insistence--their levels wouldn't be a problem for her, and the last thing she wanted was for her brother to get hurt.

"There are get up in the morning glories, in the golden afternoon..."

One decided to attack, raising its feeble hammer as if it believed it could actually scratch her. She lazily raised her blade, blocking the attack. Despite this, the other two felt that this was their chance to attack.

"There are dizzy daffodils on the hillside, strings of violets are all in tune.."

Without missing a beat, Artemis pushed the hammer off her sword. It glowed a light blue, signaling the start of a sword skill.

"Tiger lilies love the dandy lions, in the golden afternoon, the golden afternoon..."

She jumped into the air and spun her body so that she spiraled downwards, her sword a flurry of attacks. Each hit connected to the three of them, all perfectly gathered for her attack. Once she landed she spun around, completing the attack: the blurred line of her sword became solid, and each monster fell.

"There are dog and caterpillars and a copper centipede, where the lazy daisies love the very peaceful life they lead..."

At this point, she let out a small sigh, though Apollo popped up behind her, wrapping his arm around her shoulders and pulling her along with him. He hadn't shut up since they got there, and now he was singing his little song all happily and whatnot. Never mind that this death game around him was happening Still, the journey was going well, so to speak. Sure, a few players here and there, but they avoided one another, so much that for a moment, she almost thought they were going the wrong way. Still, with each monster affirming their direction, she knew they had nothing to worry about. Most people avoided monsters anyway. Artemis gladly welcomed them.

"You can learn a lot of things from the flowers, for especially in the month of June." Apollo sang gladly, at this point releasing Artemis and stepping to the side, bowing deeply and twirling his wrist a bit. Now it was her turn for the next line it seemed. She didn't really see the point of it, but he seemed to be having fun.

"There’s a wealth of happiness and romance, all in the golden afternoon." She sang for him, returning his gesture with a very dramatic curtsy of her own. They both straightened up and resumed walking, their laughter filling the halls. It had been some time since the two had both laughed like that. Apollo grinned, playfully poking her cheek. "Alright, I get the message, I will try to smile more." She replied, a small smile on her face as they walked.

"Good." Apollo replied happily, though his smile faded as a voice was heard. The two stopped in their tracks, listening carefully. It sounded like a taunt. What was weird was that it sounded like only one person. Really, one person thought they could take on the boss alone? Apollo let out a small laugh, lightly nudging Artemis. "Hear that, sweetheart? Looks like we're going the right way." He grinned lightly.

Artemis rolled her eyes. "It doesn't sound like they're with anyone. If they want to go on their little suicide mission, so be it. We're only here to collect the map data." She reminded him as they kept walking.

"I don't know, that loot sounds tempting." Apollo argued, placing his hands on the back of his head. "But taking on the boss alone? Maybe we could help."

"Don't be ridiculous. If you're soloing at this point in the game, it means you want to stay solo." She snapped. "Even if we wanted to help, what makes you think that they would even want it?"

Apollo began jogging ahead of her, though he looked back. "Hey, you never know! Come on, let's see if we can catch up!" He told her, breaking into a run.

"Hey! Wait! Don't go too far ahead without me!" She called, running after him.
"All the known maps of the Feywood all end in an area that is called the Resolent Glade." Nadeline told the group, raising her voice slightly louder than usual, just so she could be heard over the winds. Gods it was cold. At least she wasn't wearing her usual outfit, but still. Her sweater provided some much needed warmth, though she slightly regretted her skirt. She wrapped her cloak around her. She wasn't quite used to these temperatures and was glad for the hood. "It's just ahead, meaning from here on out we're treading uncharted territory. Needless to say, stick close and be on the lookout. Be wary of your magicks as well." It was obvious, but she felt the need to say it.

Emiri squinted lightly ahead of her. Between the thick Mist and the winter breeze, their vision was somewhat limited. She grasped her dagger under her cloak; no way she would be able to use her bow accurately in this weather. Unlike the rest of the group, Emiri chose to keep her hood down, her ponytail easily thrown around by the wind. The cold bit at her cheeks, though she felt fine for the most part. Her tights helped, her shirt covering all of her upper body also kept her warm. She was used to the more extreme weathers, having hunted around the Paramina Rift. She let out a small breath of air, watching as it materialized into fog and then getting easily swept away. The Mist was suffocating to her. Luckily no one else seemed to feel it as bad as she did. It was like this in the Barheim Passage as well. Taking in a deep breath, she decided to take the front on this one.

As the group made their march onwards, Grant made sure to trail behind ever so slightly. The last thing he wanted was for a monster to sneak up on them, and so took it upon himself to make sure that did not happen. He had tied his hair into a low ponytail, and he, too, was glad for the hood of his cloak. He had no idea how Emiri could go on without her own hood, but he chalked it up to her experience as a hunter. She probably thought it obscured her vision or her senses, probably something along those lines. The Mist danced around them, showing them their reflections before dissipating. The feel of the Feywood was rather mystical, and he admitted he could see why people got lost. He kept his focus on everyone's cloaks, as his reflection often confused him.

Something dark in the distance caught Emiri's attention. She raised an arm to the others, signaling a halt. She listened intently, and she could hear very faint, low stomps. One, two...around four pairs of stomps. Some were lighter than the others, however. One pair was much heavier than the rest, and she had a feeling it was something to be wary of. "Four enemies...one very large, two large, one small...though I can't say there aren't more nearby." She told them, her cloak billowing around her as she opened it behind her shoulders. The cold was something fierce, but she had a feeling the big one was something to worry about.

As if on cue, what could be described as a Mist-created tyrannosaurus rex came into view in the distance. She let out a small gasp, though something else caught her attention. She brandished her dagger as a Tartarus leapt onto her, knocking her to the ground. Bringing her legs to her chest, she kicked it off, dashing forward and delivering a clean cut across its throat. It fell instantly, though its death cry seemed to alert the other monsters around. Several other Tartaruses approached the party, and two Behemoths could be seen, though they had yet to reach the party.
Once they group left the room (or in Grant's case, dragged out) Nadeline let out a huff of indigence. The nerve of them! She felt her blood getting boiled, though she didn't know what angered her more: the fact that they had been interrupted or that Grant had the mind to tell her off when he was apparently asking Savayna to strip for him. Seriously! After a few deep breaths, she hopped down from the counter, fixing her skirt and letting out a sigh. Wesley was right, it could have been worse. At least they didn't see any body parts, unlike when they all got a glace of Emiri's giant melons. She shook her head, returning to the task at hand. Luckily she had been throwing Grant's share of supplies, so she knew exactly how to put them back and how many were missing.

Oh, she did forget something. She turned back to Wesley, who had sadly put his coat back on. She lightly jumped on over to him, a small smile on her face and the slightest blush on her cheeks, her hands behind her back. "I love you, too!" She told him rather happily. She then wandered on back to the supplies.

Meanwhile, back in the lounge, Emiri lightly fanned Grant, though she could not suppress her giggling. Poor Grant. She figured he'd be up soon, anyway. "Well, I think we should get ready, I'm sure we'll arrive soon." She told Jaakuna and Savayna.
Grant let out a sigh as he stood up. "Nadeline is probably haggling poor Wesley, she can get really annoying when it comes to supplies." Emiri giggled as she joined Grant. They walked on over to the supply room, with Grant walking in first. Needless to say, the man was not very happy to see his niece and friend in a rather...steamy position. "WHAT DO YOU TWO THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" Grant immediately gripped his hair, in complete and total shock as he yelled out in despair.

His outburst was enough to snap Nadeline out of the mood. She tore her gaze away from Wesley and spotted the group at the doorway. Grant was in complete shock, much like having walked in on his own daughter doing...things...he was not happy. Nadeline let out a gasp. "Haven't you heard of knocking?!" She whined, clearly upset.

"KNOCKING?! This is the SUPPLY ROOM!" Grant shouted, flailing his arms. "Need I remind you two that you are a PRINCESS and a PRINCE, and you two are FROLICKING when we have an important journey ahead of us?!"

Nadeline scoffed. "We were just...having fun. You're the rude one for interrupting!"

"Interrupting?! INTERRUPTING?!"

"That excuse only works when you're in a bedroom." Emiri chided lightly. Oh, this was poetic justice in everything.

The blonde princess was absolutely not amused by Emiri's joke. At all. An Antidote whizzed by Grant's shoulder, nearly hitting him. He ducked as she then chucked a Potion, though Emiri was not as fortunate. It hit her right on her upper chest, exploding into what could only be described as the most painful Cure she had ever experienced. The cuts caused by the bottle were immediately healed, though they had more to worry about: Nadeline continued her barrage of throwing items at them. Emiri let out a yelp, though she tried to save the items, jumping around rather comically to save them from hitting the wall. Grant wasn't as fortunate, and Nadeline managed to nail him on the head with an X-Potion. The raven haired man fell to the floor in a daze, having been knocked out by the still intact bottle.
No, you're not fine. Emiri couldn't help but think to herself. Still, there wasn't any point in reiterating her words, lest she wished for him to have another attack. She nodded, taking his hand and getting up as well. Giruvegan, huh? She personally had only heard stories, but she didn't really know anything about it, really. Nadeline probably knew something about it. "I wonder what it's like." She voiced her thoughts as they got into the elevator. "From what I hear, no one has actually been able to find it, per say. They usually end up getting lost or defeated by the monsters in the Feywood. I mean, I've trekked through the Feywood once, but that was to get to Mt. Bur Omisace." She said, a finger on her chin as she thought about it.
Of course Savayna would think that. Not that Grant wanted to object. But this was not a good idea. He let out a slight cough, trying to think of a way to make her stop without offending her. He couldn't stop his eyes, however, and he had to forcibly shut them to focus. He coughed again, though this time he was more composed. "That...that would have to be for another time, I--I believe we're almost to the Feywood. Everyone...might show up." Wow, he sounded a lot more composed in his head. He probably sounded a lot more like a nervous wreck.
