Aw man what is going on
"So we go to Roman and then we hide?" Nadeline asked, clearly as displeased as Jaakuna was. "I am not a coward, we owe that Meli a beatdown."

"No, we go, regroup, get weapons, and go back." Emiri stated, crossing her arms. "We are not hiding. Savayna can hold them off until we get back."

Grant tapped his knee somewhat nervously. He should have stayed with Savayna, but now his bigger worry was the guy opposite of him. In his state, Jaakuna would get himself killed...unless he asked for help. The last thing that needed to happen was Jaakuna drawing power from Zodiark again. "Perhaps...you should stay behind, Jaakuna." Grant told him slowly. "The...feni may leave you unsituated for battle...wouldn't want you...depending on other means." He emphasized his words, briefly looking at Wesley for assistance. Nadeline narrowed her eyes at Grant, who actively avoided her look, though he then looked at Emiri, remembering what Jaakuna said. "You should probably stay with him, Emiri." He suggested, not wanting her to rely on her powers, either.

"Are you crazy? I am not staying behind!" Emiri immediately protested. Grant could feel Nadeline's glare on him, it was getting dangerous.
It wasn't that Shion didn't believe Francis, but the way people were running by just...that did not look like the party running. That kind of running looked more like 'I'm running for my life' running. She slowly nodded as if to agree, and once the food came she gladly indulged. Still, as time passed by she couldn't help but notice more people running. It was definitely getting more noticeable. Still, she either ignored it or pretended not to notice as she ate. Least the food was good. As screaming was now heard, quite a few people turned their attention to the commotion outside. Shion raised an eyebrow at Francis, as if asking him what was going on.
Meli watched Savayna, her ice powers were somewhat impressive. Too bad she had seen better from more experienced black mages. "Really now? This coming from Archadia's Whore?" Meli asked, her own shadow jumping up from the ground and shielding her from Savayna's ice. She let out a huff of air, her breath emitting a small cloud. and Meli stepped forward, sinking down into her own shadow. Said shadow would multiply and spread, covering the floors, walls and ceiling, and from them several shadow clones bearing Meli's silhouette rose. Each one would unsheathe several kunai from their person, and all of them would begin throwing them at Savayna.
"Wha--? Wait!" Nadeline called, almost running after her, though when she reached for her rapier she realized (rather remembered) that like everyone else, she was unarmed. She let out a huff, only watching as Savayna left. She didn't think that the Ice Queen couldn't hold her own, but Meli was dangerous. At the very least Wesley, Grant and herself had already seen the brunt of her abilities. She looked at Grant, who shook her head at her. A sound informed them that Savayna had gotten the first strike, at which point Nadeline looked at the group. "Alright then, let's get going."

At that moment Emiri nodded, taking Jaakuna's arm. "Stay close, you...probably won't be able to walk straight for a while." She told him.
A man of sin working for the law. It seemed convenient enough. As she thought about what to say, something outside caught her attention. Shion looked out the window, noticing several people running by. She couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at it. Sure, she was used to the sight of people running, but usually she was the cause of it, so it was odd to see it from this point of view. "Wonder what's causing all the excitement."
When Michel shoved her to the side, she toppled onto her bottom, almost letting out a scream as Michel had been attacked. As Michel was sent flying, one of Meli's shadows caught him, placing him down gently. Once she got up, her own shadow molded over her body, changing from her dress to her regular attire. She found herself face to face with none other then the Ice General, Savayna Glacie. "You're going to wish you hadn't missed." Meli informed her rather coldly as one circle appeared beneath Savayna. It would launch her into the air, and at that point Meli would send several tendrils intending to pierce through her.
What Grant wanted to say was 'that woman with the shadows' but the first thing he recalled was her...lack of actual clothing. He raised both his eyebrows, wondering what her and Michel were even doing. Nadeline crossed her arms, remembering her well. "That would be Meli. We met her in Eruyt Village...she is the one that manipulates shadows." She informed Jaakuna, Savayna, and Emiri, remembering they had not met her yet. They had encountered her first when the group had split up, so it made sense. For a moment, she wondered if she was even properly dressed.

Emiri thought to herself for a moment. This wasn't good. "What now, then?"

"They are not the only issue." Grant added. "Monsters have risen from the shadows...made of pure darkness."
Shion did not respond to Francis, not at first anyway. Instead the woman focused on the food in front of her, letting their eating fill the silence as she thought to herself. He misunderstood her, or perhaps she was just unclear. Once she was finished, she dabbed her mouth with a napkin and then placed it down. "Well, then...if that's your choice, who am I to stop you?" She asked, downing the rest of her champagne afterwards. Once she finished she placed the glass down, quirking an eyebrow at him. "I don't make promises that I can't keep. I can't guarantee it will be easy, nor do I even know where this road will take me, let alone where you will end up."
"Bless you." Meli rolled her eyes at Michel. "I just hope I don't catch what you have." She looked to the stairs and started heading towards them, pulling Michel along with one hand as her shadow danced on the stairs ahead of them. She looked back at the absolute chaos unfolding in the club, and couldn't help but laugh a little. Poor bastards.
Emiri let out a sigh of relief as Jaakuna finally came around. She half wanted to hug him, the other half wanting to smack him. No, she wanted to hit Grant and Nadeline more than anything. Of course all this had to happen now."That was Feni." Nadeline told Jaakuna somewhat apologetically. "Goodness, I didn't think you were going to down half a bottle like that..."

Meanwhile Grant had looked to see where Wesley had spotted Michel and Meli. If it wasn't for Wesley's guess blaming Zodiark, he would have pinned the blame on the pair for the monsters. Still, the group was weaponless at the moment, so what could they do? "Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we should regroup--we're only going to get ourselves killed trying to save everyone."
Francis was completely serious. Shion stared at him for a while, thinking intently. No, this was wrong. She had too many enemies, a target much too big on her back, the last thing she would want was for a passerby to get hurt because of her. A part of her thought that he could handle himself, but still. Committing to someone? She ended up very slowly taking her hands away from his, looking away. "Perhaps you are. I don't think I'm ready to drag anyone down with me yet." She stated quietly. "Even now...this will probably be the last time we will see one another in some time."
"We could find them. What do you think?" Meli asked Michel with a raised eyebrow.
Uh oh.

Aurelia was never one to assume things would be easy (as an optimist, she merely thought events would just turn out fine), but as the Grimm closed in, she had to admit that for a split second, she was at a loss. Still, at Nevin's order, she found herself somewhat hesitant. This was her own brain at work; despite being calmed down, she wasn't sure about his order. Maybe it was better to stick together? No, he had an order so she should follow it. Except he couldn't possibly take them all himself. But he wasn't going to take them all by himself. After a few seconds, Aurelia found herself having run as well, though she was halfway between the other two and Nevin. She kept looking back, as if checking on him.
"Jaakuna? Jaakuna, can you hear me?" Emiri asked him, brushing his hair off his face. Nadeline watched Wesley and Grant talk, though she wanted to go with them, she stayed. Wesley wanted Grant to go with him. Fuck. After it clicking in his head that he needed to move, Grant followed Wesley down the stairs. As they would reach the main floor, they would be greeted by a rather odd view. Several monsters had somehow gotten into the club, mauling people left and right. Said people were clearly panicking and rushing to get out by any means. The prince's first instinct had been to reach for his gun, only to remember that he hadn't brought it with him. "What are those things? And what now?" He asked Wesley.
Wow. Did he just confess to her? Shion was left speechless for a moment. What could she even say? Of course, she was entirely enticed by him, but realistically, this wasn't a good idea. "That's very presumptuous, all things considered." Shion had to admit. "As I've stated before, you and I are opposites. Are you really sure you'd like to get tangled in the mess that is my life?"
"Well, no more music." Meli told Michel with this slightest shrug. This was much better than having to listen and watch people be stupid. She did let out a slight chuckle at the defenseless people, and as she looked around, she spotted two familiar faces. They were that of the Dalmascan Prince and the Rozarrian Prince, each having come down the stairs to see what all the commotion was about. "They're upstairs, it seems." She stated.
The first thing Grant thought was that he was totally going to get blamed for this.

"Fuckin' eh." He murmured, staring at the now unconscious Jaakuna. What he wanted to think was that he had passed out from drinking too much and it should be hilarious. What he knew was that he had way too much and they probably needed to get him to a hospital probably. Emiri got down on her knees, lightly turning Jaakuna on his side. He was totally getting blamed for this. "Uh, that...how much did he have?"

Nadeline, who was better off then Grant, was instantly alarmed. "Oh no." She got on the floor, though she looked at the bottle and its contents--or lack of thereof. "Dear gods how much did he have?!"

"What do you mean how much did he have?!" Emiri cried out, shaking Jaakuna. "What was he drinking?!"

Grant raised a finger. "Coconut Feni."

"WHAT?!" Emiri yelled, eyes wide. Obviously the news had sobered her up. "Feni?! Are you insane, do you know how strong that stuff is?!"

"I wasn't expecting him to drink it straight out of the bottle!"

"Why didn't you take it away from him?!"
Hobbies, interests and what made her happy. Shion had to actually stop and think about it. My hobbies are murder and maiming people. "The piano has always interested me. And gardening. With plants, not people." Seeing the blood of my enemies makes me happy. "I guess going to the beach is always fun. I think." [i]Oh Levi would be enjoying this. She was pathetic. Still, as she tried to think of more appropriate things to say, he would lightly interrupt and take her hand again and then say what he said. Her jaw dropped. How was she even supposed to respond to this? Before she could react, her entire face had turned bright red. She wanted to look away, but she was what, embarrassed? Flattered? What or how was she supposed to respond?

"Oh really?" She managed (somehow) to say.
The place was packed. She wrinkled her nose at the crowd, clearly not impressed. As Michel joined her and complained about the place, she found herself agreeing somewhat. Meli frowned at Michel slightly, though she just offered him a shrug. "Just help me look around for them." She told him, making sure to hold onto him tightly. "And stay close, I don't want to have to smack a stupid skank for trying to touch you."
Everything was going well until Grant dodged one of Jaakuna's arms, only to get hit anyway. What? He looked and saw he had gotten hit by a bottle. Not just any bottle. THE bottle. As in the bottle of stuff that had Jaakuna completely shitfaced. "Uh." His rational side was telling him that he needed to somehow confiscate that bottle before Jaakuna died of alcohol poisoning, but his now rather aggressive drunk side was telling him he needed to focus on his woman in front of him. His rational side was also somehow managing to hold back his horny side. Mentally, anyway. "Uh." Wow he was very much conflicted right now. Damn it. Maybe Coconut Feni was not such a good idea after all. Was he going to get blamed for this? Probably. In which case he should probably enjoy himself while he could.

"I wish we could record this." A very comfortably buzzed Nadeline told Wesley, humming lightly, as she laced her fingers between his.
Francis was good. Shion quirked an eyebrow at him, copying him and also taking some champagne. He wanted to know more about her--and not the assassin. That was definitely a first, so to speak. "Considering my job is my life, that is a very difficult question to answer." She told him rather honestly. "What exactly do you want to know?"
"Not them. Mine." Meli very adamantly corrected him, hooking her arm with his. "And you're mine." She stated, as if she needed to remind him. As the two approached the nightclub, she noticed how there were a lot of people waiting to get in. "Well fuck that line." She stated, leading Michel to the front. As the bouncer held a hand up to stop them, Meli took one look at the bouncer and smacked his arm away, walking in. "Like I'm gonna fucking wait. Please."
Grant thought he had toppled off his seat, but it turned out that Savayna had dragged him out of his seat. He found himself in his groove, so he didn't mind. Except for having to dodge Jaakuna every once in a while. Emiri found herself half laughing and half dancing, not even really sure what was really happening. Best thing to do was just go with the flow. Which she did. Even if she was clueless. Wait she thought that already. Okay no more thinking because this was getting weird.

Nadeline took Wesley's hand, laughing hysterically. She was laughing so hard she wobbled in her heels, though she grabbed Wesley's arm to prevent herself from falling. "Dear gods what are we getting ourselves into?" She asked him, though she more than happily obliged in the dancing.
Shion picked up the menu gladly, hoping to hide her face if only for a moment. Her heart had been racing and she needed to calm down. Except she was spending so much time doing so that she wasn't paying attention to the words in front of her. What did Archadia even have as their specialty again? She needed to calm down. Maybe she'd just cop out and just have what he was having.

"I think I'll let you order for me." She told him quietly.
"Psh you think YOU'RE surprised? I thought Lola was bullshiting me when she told me." Meli replied, shaking her head. "Actually thought she was a lesbian too but look at that, she must love getting a stick to play with every once in a while." Her last sentence earned her a few looks, but her piercing glare sent their attention elsewhere. "Gods know how much of a shock it was when Lola preferred tits and a vagina over men. Welp she's missing out and if that's what she likes fine with me."
