When you get a 'craving' for a certain RP type (whether it be a show or genre) but none are open, then you try to make one yourself and realize you haven't a clue on how to run an RP. _{i'll probably try and just watch it burn to ashes but feels bad man}

Also to be relevant to the current topic, I also find people not willing to let their characters get hurt to be one of my biggest pet peeves. Like...y tho.

Time Stops For Fire(Altered Tundra and Hero)

Getting forced back had broken Nadeline's concentration, and she let out a whine as her glyphs dissipated. Damn it, she had been making progress! No, wait, it couldn't have been that her progress had actually triggered the next phase, could it? If that was the case, then there was more where that came from--and Savayna would continue to suffer for it. For the moment, Nadeline ignored Savayna and Jaakuna as they spoke, immediately conjuring up her next spell on queue as she focused. Despite its appearance, it wasn't a Sap spell, and once again she found herself giving Shion a compliment on the trap. The previous pain was just icing on the cake, and as Nadeline weaved her magicks once more, she found herself trembling slightly. Was she nervous? That was a stupid question,of course she was.

Raising her rapier once more, she resummoned her glyphs as Jaakuna would state the spell was strong. Strong wasn't even the right word for it. She let out the slightest of chuckles; this had to be fate itself. Wesley was probably the only one who could match her magical prowess, but Nadeline's casting was much faster. Emiri's powers would likely make things worse, and Grant's magicks outside of Arcane magicks wouldn't have been up to task. Inhaling slightly, she concentrated, though she did have the time to scoff as Jaakuna would tell Ultima to help her out. Like that would happen.

Maybe if you ask nicely. Or don't, I don't care either way, Ultima told her bluntly.

"Yeah, no, I'm on my own," She told Jaakuna as she closed her eyes, trying to focus. She was going to have to get rid of this trap in a more creative matter, though admittedly, it wasn't the most humane one. "Even if I took the time to have Ultima help, we could lose Savayna by the time we unlocked it. The only choice to to keep going, trigger the next phase, and work my way through it," She stated, a Regen casting itself on Savayna, as well as a Haste. "My only regret is that Savayna has to suffer, rather than the idiot that triggered it."

Energy Conversion - Energy Blasts
The ability to absorb the power of the sun and expel them into concentrated blasts is Leilani's power. The blasts are a force to be reckoned with, forming quickly and being able to get thrown as fast as Leilani herself can throw them. She can usually form one 'orb' on each hand, they light up in a yellow color.

Weapons:
Her entire body is a weapon! Although she does prefer close-quarter combat, so maybe that isn't as much of a stretch as people think...

Bio:
Born into a family of much love, Leilani and Aiyana grew up with a comfortable childhood. Aiyana was usually very shy, often hanging around her sister despite being older. As they reached high school, Leilani began to strike out on her own, joining several sports clubs to occupy her time. She encouraged her sister to do the same, though Aiyana was never good at interacting with others, mostly keeping to herself. Her seclusive nature lead to bullying, and the outspoken Leilani would have none of it, often getting into fights defending her sister. Unfortunately, this built up Leilani as a delinquent in the eyes of the adults, resulting in her getting kicked out from many of the clubs she was in. Leilani's frustration at the situation didn't help things, and she often lashed out, deciding that if she was going to be seen that way she may as well act the part.
One day, the two were once again approached by the same group of bullies that liked to pick on Aiyana. This time, however, they took things too far, and as one of them drew a knife, Aiyana's powers activated, though they manifested in an explosion that took them all out. When the authorities arrived, Leilani tried to take the sole blame, but Aiyana was still incredibly unstable, so the pair were taken in together. Ironically enough, Leilani did have powers as well, triggered by the accident, though she focused on honing her skills.

Dreams/Wishes:
She dreams of becoming a famous hero.

Evil, Good, Walking the Line:
Mostly on the side of good, though she's known to straddle the line due to her rebellious streak.

The ability to absorb the power of the sun and expel it in the form of a barrier. The barrier itself usually comes out in the shape of a protective circle that looks like a thin, yellow glass shield, often being strongest whichever way she's facing. It's usually large enough to cover a person, though recently she's been working on creating a dome of protection. It simply blocks attacks and...doesn't do much else, really.

Weapons:
She isn't a fan of fighting, getting a grasp on her powers is more important to her...

Turns out my character is too identical to @Hero's character in the way I wished to use the Compel ability and that I wanted her to be a kind of arrogant vixen. (Yes, I too am creating a female vampire.) Hero and I also had similar ideas for our characters' occupation as I was thinking of having my character run a night club.

So I'm trying to figure out what my character's role will/should be in the coven and in Salem as well as how to make her a little more different than Aimee. I believe once I figure that out and can get moving and complete my CS.

The only things I have settled on so far as of this post is that she was born in Transylvania, she is half Romani (gypsy), and that she was in Romania during WWII.

Often towering over most of her peers due to being a late bloomer, Vanille stands just above five feet, nine inches, though comes off as higher with her combat boots adding another inch. Her skin has a fair complexion, though often comes off as paler than what it really is due to her white hair. Said hair is very long, just about reaching her thighs. Her long limbs give her a willowy figure, though she's had a recent upgrade in her bust department (much to her dismay). She tends to wear a black uniform consisting of a white undershirt, a black jacket with a red ribbon, a frilled black skirt, white knee high socks, and brown combat boots.

Personality
Vanille is notorious for being an airhead. Her thought process is very different, often leaving people baffled when she somehow comes to the same conclusion. She prefers dozing off during classes, finding it difficult to focus on the lessons when she hardly ever understands what's going on. Complicated conversations also get her bored, though once in a while she will indulge them. She's excitable, cheerful, and easy going. She's very understanding, surprisingly enough, and empathetic, unafraid to speak her mind regardless of the topic at hand.

Backstory
Vanille doesn't remember much about her childhood, though she knows that she was happy living with her parents and older brother. Her life was mostly uneventful, until the age of ten when she encountered her first Witch. Having no combat skills at the time, she fled, though an attack from the Witch sent her into a nearby river. When she regained consciousness, she learned about what happened, though rather then blame the Witch who attacked her, she was frightened by nearly drowning.
Soon after, she enrolled into the Academy. For a few years, she had no idea what was happening, earning her airhead reputation as most realized she didn't have a clue. Once she entered combat training, however, she felt that she had found her calling.

Anti-Demon Wavelength
The Anti-Demon Wavelength is a special wavelength that specializes in driving away evil. In defense this Wavelength acts as a powerful barrier against Madness. For offensive purposes, it can be infused into attacks causing them to be destructive against beings of Madness. This wavelength can be also carried over into attacks, which in turn become very effective against Witches or any individual harboring dark powers.

Combat Specialist
Vanille excels in combat, where she lacks in brain she makes up for in brawn. She's not shy when it comes to hand-to-hand combat, not wanting to be useless without a Weapon.
Retention
Despite being generally clueless, Vanille does remember important information down to every detail when it's verbally spoken. Most speculate it's the only reason she understands Souls and isn't completely flunking out of her classes.
Observant
Eagle-eyed, Vanille notices details. This applies only to when she is in combat, however.
