"Thanks Katherine." Makoto said, smiling, thankful for the help. She wanted to say that she had made two new friends but that was hard to say after only knowing them for an evening. Makoto felt badly that Flood said he wouldn't sleep. She attriuted it to a trade of for his abilites. "Good night Flood, see you in the morning." She hoped that maybe the three of them could get along with Phoebe too, then they could be their own little pod of friends. Makoto put these hopeful thoughts to the side of her mind. It was time to leave and walk to the dorms. Makoto turned to exit with Katherine. The pair began to walk down the empty halls, winding with the locker lined walls. "So, how do you enjoy school here?" Makoto asked Katherine, trying to start conversation.
"Sure, that's multiplayer." He grabbed the box and inserted the disk into the console. He started up the game and grabbed three controllers. "Let's play." After a couple of hours he looked at the time. "You guys are probably going to want to go to your rooms or something. You can stay if you want, it's just late and stuff. I know you guys are going to need sleep." He suggested as he looked at them both.
Makoto was surprised that the time has passed so fast. She had made some great memories with Flood and Katherin. They all seemed to enjoy themselves. After setting down the controller she was using, Makoto stood and stretched. "You are probably right Flood. Can either of you point me in the direction of the dorms?" She was a little turned round in the school still. It takes longer than a day for her to get her bearings in any place. Makoto checked her pocket for her pass key, looking forward to sleep after the crazy day she had had.
sorry for my absence. Been seriously stressed and exhausted. Kinda wanna puke.
I hope you feel better soon :(
Makoto watched Flood mildly amazed at how he always seemed to be prepared. It seems as though with this new lifestyle, one would have to be. She did also understand that even among the students, Flood was considered something else. "How about this one? They look cute." Makoto said, picking up a copy of Little Big Planet 3. It said PS4 in the corner so she assumed it was for the right console.
Katherin looked around in surprise at the room Flood showed them. She had never seen anything like this. Did anyone else know it was here? How could the staff not notice that this room had Beene taken over. She was alittle nervous about getting into trouble. But she knew that Flood was unique. Maybe this was completely on the up and up. For now she was willing to go with it. "wow this is very cool Flood."

"I know right? After Bane released a bunch of chemicals in here he moved to another classroom and never bothered to clean up. I decided to and this is basically mine now. My hand touched some of the chemicals once. It fell off and turned into a mass of cancerous flesh. It took an entire week for my hand to regenerate." Flood explained how he came upon the classroom. He turned on his tv and hooked up a random console. "Recently I've been doing something called Console Roulette. I grab some random wires and plug them in, then I find out what turns on." He turned on all the consoles and the display for a PS4 appeared on screen.

Makoto made a face expressing concern and fear when Flood spoke about all the chemicals and the effect it had on his body. Her body would not regenerate, she figured she would have to be careful what she touched. Flood seemed to have done a good job cleaning everything up. "PS4, I havn't played on that console before." ~or any other console really, for that matter~ Makoto thought to herself. Her life before didn't exactly allow for such luxuries. The money always seemed to go towards the bills, her dad's health and soon after her mom's drinking. It pained her to think of home, even if it was broken in the end. Her face fell, slowly. Her heart ached and she just wanted to cry. Not was not the time though. Makoto's eyes glazed over and she tried to blink it away before anyone noticed. "What kind of games do you have Flood?" Makoto prompted, trying to draw the groups attention to something else, just in case they did notice.
Can Flood do that? Wouldn't all the classrooms be used for something? Wouldn't teachers or stuff, specially cleaning staff, notice a classroom had been taken over like that??

No clue, i'm rolling with it.
"Oh, I know a perfect spot if you wanted to play games." Flood ran down the hallway and opened up a seemingly random door. He looked inside and shook his head. He closed the door back up and put a black piece of tape on it. "I've basically taken over this one classroom in the school and turned it into a hideout of sorts. I just can't remember which one it is." He opened the door across from the other door and smiled. He pulled out some purple tape and put it on this door. "Found it!" When they walked in they would see a mattress on the floor, a tv mounted to the wall, various different gaming consoles, and a couple of fancy armchairs. There was also a pinball machine with the price tag on it. There was only one picture of Flood, and it was just the class photo from last year. He had circled himself many times and crossed out almost everyone else's face.

Makoto peered in from the doorway. He invited her in and it looked so cool but that picture... It made her a bit concerned. Tentatively she took a few steps in, following her blonde classmate. "This place is really cool Flood..." Makoto commented, gazing at the uniqueness of the room. All the bits that meant something to Flood and that he used. She looked over her shoulder for Katherin, she would have a better read of the situation than her.
"There isn't a lot we can do this time of day. I would say ice skating nu its almost dark." Katherin explained. "We could have s good old fashion dnow ball fight. I promise not to cheat, much." She laughed. No one ever wanted to take her in a snowball challenge. Not that she blamed them. No matter how fair she tried to be her powers always got away from her.

Having only just arrived at the Academy, Makoto had her fall jacket and that was it. She was very aware that she would have to track down a winter jacket to wear in this weather. She thought, with mild irony, that since it's snowing here like in winter there would naturally be more static electricity around. Dryer conditions = more static to play with. "I would love to go outside and build a snowman with you guys, but I don't have any clothing that suits the weather." Makoto tried to think of something else they could do. She didn't know enough about where the campus' recreational stuff was. "Does anyone own multiplier video games? A deck of cards? Or maybe a movie?" She suggested.
Though Flood seemed to feel very normal emotions as he talked about his back story, Makoto was surprised at his conflict resolution. "Well, i'm glad no-one died in the end." She said, not entirely sure how to process what she had just been told. Makoto walked into the office and spoke with the kind lady at the front desk. She was then directed around the corner to choose her classes at a computer set up there. Makoto was glad to find a book of the electives waiting by the computer. She pretty much knew what she wanted to take, it was a matter of finding the right classes and course codes. It wasn't long before Makoto found them and with a little help on navigating the school system she had successfully signed up for a martial arts class and an advanced anatomy and physiology class. The basic one looked too easy for her. With effort Makoto rose from the chair and rejoined her classmates. "Well, at least that's one less thing to do later." She said, smiling and looking forward to getting to know them. "What do you guys want to do?"
That is also a good way to go about things. It's interesting to see how different people write their characters. There are many different processes that one can go through to arrive at what the character will ultimately do/say.
