Katherin had selected a couple of books. She could never seem to go to the library without getting atleast a couple of books. It had been nice to go with Makoto. She usually ended up going alone. She and Makoto had more in common than she had originally thought. They had literally talked for hours. "Yes I got ahold of him this morning. He is free this weekend. He told me to come and spend the weekend."

"That's good!" Makoto exclaimed with a big smile. She was clearly happy for her new friend. At this point, with all the talking Katherin and Makoto had done together, she felt it was safe to call Katherin her friend. There was also the adventure in Flood's special room the day before. "You took him up on the offer, right?" she asked, more so to make sure Katherin was alright with how things had advanced with her father. They both continued down the hall towards the cafeteria, a boy whizzing past them along the way (Connor). They were almost at the cafeteria doors now. Makoto noticed how most things seemed to be in tact from earlier's escapade.

Makoto and Kathrin had been walking with Phoebe and Ryan to go to gym class when Pheobe took off, and Ryan soon after. The two girls assumed that they were either ditching class, witch seemed unlikely or that they went to get something before class. Maybe Phoebe had in fact decided to change. It wasn't until, Makoto was mid shower with Kathrin waiting that the lock-down happened and they realized something was terribly wrong. Fortunately there seemed to be towels in the change-room and a dryer. Makoto guessed it was for drying off the towels or clothing form after a workout. Kathrin so kindly put Makoto's clothes in the dryer when she was in the shower and for a time, since Makoto finished her quick shower just after the lock-down was invoked, and the two girls sat there killing time. Makoto was obviously in a towel until her clothes were dry, she was very self conscious about that but there was not much she could do and she felt it odd to stay and sit in the shower when Katherin was out sitting on a bench. The two girls talked until the lock-down was over. Afterwards it seemed like there was no point in going to the elective that was after lunch, all the teachers seemed to have disappeared too. That was unfortunate since while talking with, Katherin suggested that Makoto talk to Mimic to see exactly what her powers were. The two girls decided to head to the cafeteria for lunch, hopefully by now the sprinklers would be off and the place would be cleaned up. On the way to the cafeteria they stopped in to the library for Makoto to pick up a book to read. She was surprised at the massive selection of books. She chose a book about a Wetboy, which is apparently an Assassin that can use magic. From the page she read quickly, the book had amazing detail. "So, did you ever end up calling your father yesterday?" Makoto asked as they walked from the library to the cafeteria. It was a good moment to do so, since it was just them and Makoto felt like they had really hit it off during their morning adventures. somewhere in her consciousnesses she felt worry for Ryan and Phoebe, where were they? Makoto hoped to see them in the cafeteria for lunch.

Wow! you guys wrote a lot :P I'm excited to read it all but i'm not sure how far i'll be able to get through today, i'm starting on page 439. If I can't get to it today, tomorrow for sure. Just letting you guys know :)

Makoto allowed Kathrin to try getting the water off of her but it didn't seem to work well. She was grateful when RYan brough out one of his coats. She felt bad for getting it wet, but it did help. "Sure." she agreed. Gym seemed like it would be a more normal class. "Hey, Phoebe? If there are showers there, maybe we can warm up that way before or after class?" she suggested. It may in fact help. Makoto was also hoping that whoever the gym teacher was would have a spare gym uniform for her. She looked around at the group, waiting for them to take the lead. "Thanks for trying Kathrin." Makoto said with a smile, truly appreciating the effort. She would have to ask her if she ever did end up calling her dad. For that though, an opportune moment would have to arise.

"I might be able to help with that if you don't mind a bit of cold." Katherin told her thoughtfully. Water was just unfrozen ice right? She might be able to move it. If not she could freeze it.

Phoebe shivered in the cold, it had always effected her strongly, and part of that, she thought, was the fact that plants didn't do well in cold. She smiled at Katherin and said, "You can try" She said, pulling back her hair from her face, and up in a pony tail.

Makoto nodded in agreement, encouraging Katherin to try. It would work a bit better for her if she didn't have to completely change clothes. She didn't have much to change into for the time being. She would have to address this as soon as she could, witch was likely the weekend. She hoped that she could find some sort of job on the school campus.

Makoto kind of half smiled at Katherin when she came over. "I-I'm just not feeling the greatest." she tried to explain. Then, Phoebe hugged her. It was calming and nice to have someone care for her, someone she could call friend. She hadn't been able to truly call someone that in years. Makoto gave a weak smile, cheeks still rosy. Since they were standing in the snow and both Phoebe and herself were wet, a change of clothes would be smart. Makoto shivered once, "Yeah, or at least dry off." In her room she had one extra bra and a weeks worth of underwear. She hoped it would be enough for now, or at least she could get some more clothes.

Makoto's eyes focused first on the window, then the door as Phoebe moved towards it. She followed Phoebe outside shortly after. Makoto hadn't even realized there was a door from the cafeteria that lead outside. She felt silly an very embarrassed. It's what came with the immense amount of fear she was feeling, that only now as she stepped outside did she realize how strongly it came on. "Thank you, Phoebe."she half mumbled with flaming cheeks. Makoto looked back into the now nearly empty cafeteria. Some people had even left through the same door on the other side of the cafe. Having not known the available route to take to escape and the fact that she let fear over take her only fueled her embarrassment. "I'm sorry." Makoto said, hanging her head a little bit.

Makoto didn't recognize the girl at first and then remembered that they had fought Mimic together. Phoebe seemed to trust her so she took a breath and tried to explain. "I have little if any control over my powers," She began assuming that the girl remembered what her powers were. "...and i'm surrounded by water. I don't want to hurt anyone." She tried another deep breath. "Until I can get a hold of this, I don't think mixing me with water is a smart idea!"
