I finally had a chance to post :)
I had been waiting for Katherin to respond but that didn't happen ^^"

I would try my hand at Mimic but I have no idea what to do with him and I only post like once a day and usually when the rest of you are unavailable ^^" I don't think I'd end up doing a good job of it.
Phoebe looked over at Makoto's call, and smiled brightly, stopping, and raising a hand in a wave, "hey, Gale!" She said brightly, glad her friend seemed to be okay, as well as calling Makoto by what she wanted to be called. "How are you? What have you been doing? Sorry I just disappeared. Things happened"

Makoto noticed that Phoebe called her by the name she had chosen. She appreciated that, but had continued to debate the name change.
The four paused outside of the classroom door to catch up. "I'm good, Katherin and I have been having fun today. Flood Joined us for lunch too." Makoto explained, skimming over all of the details of her's and Katherin's day so far. "Is everything alright?" she asked, clearly concerned for her new friend. She realized she was ignoring the boy in the wheelchair, but she was unsure what to say or do to introduce herself. Seeing him up close, she thought she may have seen him before... but not in a wheelchair. He kinda looked like the guy who kept hiding in the shadows as Phoebe showed Makoto around the campus.
Katherin considered it. It made sense. "I never thought about that. I will try. I have been working with ice on a large scale. You know slides and freezing people." She explained she tried to envision using her ice smaller portions. Sand rather than cement. Making it smaller would take practice. But she could do that. It would give her something to do. And maybe this weekend she could ask her dad for pointers.

Phoebe

Phoebe pushed Nicholas along towards Power Development, looking about for Katherin, or Makoto, hoping to be able to catch up with her friends soon, and wanting to explain what had happened, and also ask if they were okay.

Makoto smiled as the two walked through the hallways. She was still following Katherin, the school was so large it would take more than a day and a half to learn where everything was. It seemed like they would be there soon. Makoto was happy that her suggestion could help Katherin. They giggled and chatted the whole way to PD. Upon rounding the last corner to get to the PD classroom, Makoto noticed Phoebe and a boy in a wheelchair off down the opposite hallway.

"Hey, Phoebe!" Makoto called out, waving. Sincerely hoping that it was Phoebe, to save her from any embarrassment. The guy in the wheelchair was a stranger to her, but Phoebe seemed to know him closely.
Makoto thought about what Katherin had said. "It sounds like you can really manipulate ice." she paused thinking of how to help Katherin succeed. "Snow is kind of a separate kind of precipitation... if you have trouble with it why not make, like, ice sand." Makoto knew it sounded strange so she paused and tried to formulate her thoughts yo explain further. "I mean, if the snow doesn't work... then you can try to make small grains of ice. The classroom is rather bright and it could work the same if the edges of the ice reflects the light?" Unsure if she had done a good job of explaining herself, she looked for Katherin's reaction to her suggestion of a backup plan.
Katherin smiled her thanks. She could have gone to her room in a towel. It was a girl's dorm after all. But that would have been awkward. So she appreciated Makoto's generosity. She selected a light pair of pants in a dark green color and a short sleeved blouse in a light blue color. "A little fancy for my tastes. But their comfortable." She turned to Makoto. "I am ready. I wonder if my group will tackle Mimic next. I kind of hope not. After yesterday Im not sure that Im ready to face him even with friends backing me up."
"I'm sure you will do fine. If nothing else you will do better than I did!" Makoto assured. She mused over the idea of practicing her powers at some point. The week had yet to be out so she had time. Maybe she could practice a bit while the next group faced Mimic. Makoto hoped that he wouldn't be completely out of commission after class today. She really wanted to ask him about her powers. A thought struck Makoto as the girls left her dorm room."If you don't mind me asking, what have you learned to do with your powers so far?" she asked, hoping then to provide suggestions or support for her friend.
"Storm?" Katherin repeated. That was a name she hadn't heard in awhile. She didn't know the woman well. But she had meet her a few times. She seemed like a nice woman to Katherin. "I've met her a few times. Nice lady." She commented. It was good to see that someone was looking out for Makoto. Everyone needed Atleast one person to look after them.
"Mhmm" Makoto agreed, nodding in a yes motion. She had only known her for a short period of time but she felt comfortable with the woman. Storm had become a safe place for Makoto. "She is a wonderful person. I've yet to meet someone as compassionate and fierce as her." Makoto had finally managed to her herself under control. She had also decided in her mind what to wear to class, since she now had gym clothes. "Thank you for caring Katherin." Makoto smiled, then giving her friend a hug. She held on and gave an extra squeeze before letting Katherin go. "I guess I should change now." Makoto said, moving to get her clothing. "Feel free to grab something to wear, I'm pretty sure wearing nothing but a towel from my room to yours is a good idea." she joked. Leaving Katherin for a moment Makoto took the her clothing into the bathroom to change. She quickly rinsed out her long blonde hair in the sink, tying it back in a sort of braided bun and washed her face. She tossed her paint covered clothing into the damp tub, running cold water over both hers and Katherin's clothing. She hoped the paint wouldn't stain. Makoto tossed on her dry clothes and turned off the cold water. She spread the clothing around the bathroom to dry and then returned to Katherin. "Ready to go?" she asked. Makoto's eyes still looked irritated but she was recovering from the surprise well. The brief time in the bathroom and compassion from Katherin helped a lot.
Katherin was thankful for Makoto's off to shower. She made it quick since they had class. Just enough to get the paint off. Once she was washed off. She dried off. She frowned at her paint covered clothes. "Well that was brilliant Katherin." She shook her head. She wrapped the towel around her and went into the main room. She heard Makoto crying. She hurried over to the other girl. "Hey are you alright?"
Makoto tried to wipe away the tears, all while smile crying. It was such an awkward way to cry and really, she was embarrassed to be seen in such a state. "Yeah, I will be now." She mumbled, standing up to get a tissue for her running nose. "I just wasn't expecting..." she paused, debating what to tell Katherin. Should she be honest? Would it be too much for the girl? Would she run away? Would Makoto herself be alright explaining things? "Storm came by, she brought me everything of what is here except my backpack and what is in it. She rescued me from the streets after I had run away." Makoto explained, hoping that it was a good enough explanation for now. Makoto reached for another tissue, this time to try and dry her eyes. She was sure that they were red and puffy by now.
Makoto and Katherin agreed to stop by her dorm room first. She used her key card to get into the room on the 2nd floor of the girl's dorm. The two girls walked into the small room, taking off their shoes at the front door. Makoto told Katherin that she was welcome to use the bathroom first and that ther would be some soap and shampoo in the shower for her to use. She then moved cautiously, deeper into her room. It felt off and the few things had been moved off the floor onto the bed. There was a new throw blanket folded on the end of the bed beside her backpack, a piece of paper folded on it. Makoto picked it up and quickly opened it. Dear Makoto, With only your backpack, there could not have been enough clothing and toiletries to last you for your new school year. Some of my colleagues and I managed to get a few spare things together for you, to help get you back on your feet. I hope your first day went well, talk to you soon. ~Storm Makoto looked up from the note, and then around her room. Her desk now had some basic stationary supplies for school and a warm pair of mitts with a matching hat. She moved to the adjacent dresser and opened a drawer, there were clothes in it! She looked though the other drawers. Some of it was from her home and some of it seemed to have been donated to her. Makoto feeling so relieved and touched by the kindness sat down in front of the open drawers and began to cry softly.
@Hidden Lilly I don't mind but I don't want to disturb the other things that are going on so I don't want to just make the call
