Name: Jera Odinsdotter

Gender: Female

Godly Parents: Odin and Minerva.

Sphere of Control: Knowledge, Wisdom, Battle, Frenzy, Strategy and Magic.

Personality: Somewhat calm and collected, but quick to anger and ferocious (if not outright terrifying) in battle.

Sacred Animals: The Raven and the Owl.

Powers:

- Battle mastery. Possesses the knowledge to masterfully wield any weapon, even the weapon that is the human body through the use of various martial arts.

- Strength, speed and stamina/endurance that exceeds even godly standards.

- Exceptional learning and memory abilities.

- Strategically analytical mind that analyses any battle situation and searches to for the best possible outcome through openings or weaknesses.

- Eye of Odin, Eye of Medusa. Inherited Odin's ability to see vast distances. Similarly, much like Minerva's shield, Jera can use her eyes to petrify or momentarily paralyze her opponents. Her gaze can also induce crippling migraines.

- Berserker frenzy. In battle, in moments of madness or after sustaining considerable damage, Jera can fly into a rage of bloodlust, seeking any and all weakness and opening to tear apart friend and foe alike. Pain and fatigue cease to register and she will fight to her last drop of godly blood is spilled. This will continue until she is calmed or regains control of herself.

- Magic user. Having resided in the minds of Odin and Minerva, Jera has more than an education in what they know, she was actually a part of every thought and memory. As a result their knowledge is her knowledge, magic included.

Weapon(s): Whatever weapon she can find, but prefers to use her fists and feet.

History:
After a night of drunken revelry between Odin and Minerva, Odin found himself with a headache that would could not be cured. Unbeknownst to the all-father, he was pregnant with the child of the godly union who was in the process of educating herself based on all the knowledge the norse god possessed, practicing combat within the confines of his mind which was causing the severe headaches.
Upon realizing what was happening, Odin struck a deal with Minerva and, using their combined knowledge and magic, transferred the infant Jera into the mind of Minerva, where she spent the second half of her development, similarly absorbing the knowledge Minerva possessed before the two god met once more to "birth" the child, who emerged almost fully grown.

Initially, Jera was raised and schooled by Minerva, but as her formative development had been in the mind of Odin, she had little patience and a lust for battle. While she was a terrifically gifted student, it was not long before she was sent to study under her father. Raised and schooled by the fallen warriors of Valhalla, the norse gods themselves and the valkyries, Jera continued until the routine began to bore her. There was no risk to the battles of Valhalla if all wounds were healed the next day.
Looking down on Midgard, the land of mnn, she saw wars, battles and conflict that shaped history, cultures, societies and ultimately, the world. Because of this, she descended into the world of man in search for excitement and battle.
@Cuccoruler Will do! Strongest thing she'll be able to do is petrify enemies. Probably momentarily [paralyze gods while being able to turn mortals completely to stone. Other than that, inducing intense migraines and possessing telescopic vision. I figure strength speed and stamina are all on god-levels for everyone to begin with, so her's would just a little better than that, being related to gods typically associated with battle.

She'd likely know most or all styles of combat and be proficient with numerous weapons, but she's not going to be hurling lighting or Dragonball energy blasts. That would be more of a Zeus/Thor child thing.
Will put up a CS in a bit, but I shotgun a character who's the child of Odin and Minerva. Fighter, big on combat, strategy, wisdom, knowledge and other things associated with those gods.

Has one powerful eye to reflect Odin's lost eye. Can see vast distances with it, use it to petrify enemies (works in with Minerva having Medusa's head on her shield), induce sever migraines and has incredible strength, stamina, speed and fighting prowess. Prefers a challenge.

@Cuccoruler
@Heat 8/10 Funny to think that almost all early and even contemporary metal bands credit Black Sabbath as one of their major influences when you consider how tame they are by todays standards. Black Sabbath seems about as metal as Queens of the Stone Age these days!

Case in point: Even video game soundtracks seem heavier now.

Sounds like the Everworld novels meets the Scion tabletop. I'm interested. When is this set? Modern times?
@Letter Bee Sending a PM to @Combo move to see about a collab since I'm wanting to run into Katherine.
Okay, letting everyone know that I'm still here. Just been busy with the holidays and now winter storm/blizzard warnings, but I'm about to get to work on an IC post now. Hopefully no one thinks the RP died, it's just a holidays thing!
My hand is raised.
Jeez... Slow couple of days. What is it, the holidays or something?!

Quick question, where's Shadowsaint's char, Jenny? Are there any links to some of their posts? I might take over the character to help keep the story going? I can PM Shadowsaint to see if I can get permission too.
The Enclave were actually pulling back. Vor Shinse had hoped someone would beat them into a retreat, but she never believed she'd be there when it happened! Vertibirds were collecting the troops that they could and fleeing the area and she found herself slightly perturbed that she hadn't managed to collect any discarded Enclave tech or armor... Until she noticed the slaves.

"Govno!" she cursed under her breath. That was just what she needed. From what she'd been told the Enclave had enslaved both slaves and slavers alike, making it impossible for her to tell who was originally a slave and who had been dealing in human lives. Personally, she would have put a bullet in the head of every slaver there, but how could she identify them? Ask?
And to make matters worse, they were all wearing slave collars. Vor Shinse knew a little about tech, she could install mods, repair some gear and hack basic and slightly more difficult terminals, but disarming explosive collars was beyond her. So now she was stuck with a bunch of panicked slaves, strapped with explosives, not to mention former slavers whose greed-

Wait.

Vor Shinse smiled. "LISTEN UP!" she yelled to the group forming before her. "I want Enclave tech! Armor, guns, ammunition, clothes, whatever you can find! Whatever you bring me gets split 50/50! You bring me two sets of Enclave power armor, you keep the other set, you hear me? I don't care what you do with it! Sell it, kill your former masters, it's up to you! The Brotherhood can remove your collars, but I'm offering you caps and payback!"

Mentally, Vor Shinse was grinning ear-to-ear. Every slave with a score to settle would likely be looking for a gun now and every former slaver would be not only looking for easy caps, but a way to protect themselves from their former slaves. Vor Shinse stifled a laugh. It was punishment with a twist, something they had a word for back in the Old World. What did they call it...?

Oh yeah. Darwinism.
