From my experience following Christ require understanding, not just blindly obeying with no common sense to understanding. Just quoting scripture isn't enough.

What's to say the devil added stuff to my book 50 years before me? I read stuff that sounds like God than the next sounds like devils. So I agree with critics I can't be everything the holy books say that makes no sense.
