Name: Lucas Dane
Relative Age: About twenty or thirty years, concept of time is a bitch.
Gender: Male
Physical Description:
Gas Mask Description:
Job: He was just your average teenager before the apocalypse, he had no job and no money, just an angsty personality and a pimple covered face.
Personality: Mostly quiet but when he's alone he tends to speak aloud, there's no one there to stop him. He likes collecting small things like once sought for toys and models, he has a container full of them in his bag. One of his specific memories from before the apocalypse was the use of computers and video games, If he ever found a working computer you would never see him again until the power runs out.
Story: memories are a blur, much of what he remembers is just a failed person, unable to get good enough grades and even start a relationship. The apocalypse was a blessing, he didn't know how he survived but he did, he was the only person within underground station apart from a homeless man who eventually went insane and killed himself. Lucas survived on m&ms and bottled water for a few days until he ran out of vending machines, then he moved onto the next station, walking along the tracks and sometimes seeing trains full of starved people, he found more stations and more vending machines, more clothes and bags he could use to carry the things he needed. Lucas didn't know how long he'd been in the underground, every day, or every night, he built his body and mind in the event that he would leave the underground and face what might be a horror of mutated animals and ruined cities. The tunnel he followed eventually ended leading to a light, light he hadn't seen in so long, sunlight. The air was thin and the ground was scorched, cities were destroyed like he expected and around him were dead bodies of people trying to escape their demise, he looted what he could which included the gas mask he has now. Presumably years pass as he wandered the world, he was grateful for the chance at a new life, the world was quiet, peaceful, perfect for him, at first he would stay in one city at a time, working from building to building looking for life and or food and shelter, sometimes he would see two animals fused together like that one cartoon about the dog and cat which have connected bodies. Life was peaceful but uneventful, secretly he hoped he could meet someone else if there was anyone else.
Strengths/Weaknesses: He tends to sleep peacefully and not expecting that anyone would try to steal anything from him based on the fact that there is literally no one to steal from him. His guard is often down and relaxed, nothing can really hurt him in this world unless it's a mutated dog trying to grab a leg.
Philosophy: He never believed there was a god, and if there was then he probably left the world to die long before the apocalypse, his philosophy is that life doesn't have much meaning, his only reason for living now is the freedom he has.
Strange Behaviors: He’ll make weird sounds here and there, if a building topples over in front of him he'd probably make a “WHOUOUHH” sound.
Favorite Thing: M&Ms are off the list, he'd had enough of those in the underground. He really likes proper cooked meat, wether it be mutant flesh on a spit or preserved precooked sausages from the supermarket.
Skills: He can make that popping sound with his fingers and his cheek… he can also cook a mean mutant steak, he somehow finds mutant meat better than normal meat. Also he has basic survival skills he learned from a survival handbook found outside the underground.
