It's cool man. We're aiming for Monday to start, so if you could have a character up tomorrow that'd be great. If we're still struggling to find a round number that we're happy with, we can push it back another day or so.

Hey all, just a quick update. I'll be putting together your squads tomorrow, along with getting any necessary npcs into the character's tab. We should be on track for the first IC post on Monday. As of right now, we have 7 players/characters. Since most everyone said they'd rather do small squads, I'll likely put you all in squads of 3, as that is as small as I want to go. That being said, We'll need 2 more characters for an even 3 squads if that is the case. I wasn't intending on playing a character in your guys' squads; I think that as a GM it is better to tell the story through NPCs and whatnot, instead of also personally involving myself in your storyline, if that makes sense. We have three options:

1. Wait for two more people to fill those spots. In this case, the IC will be postponed until those spots are filled.

2. I can fill in any spots that we don't fill with my own characters. This is really up to you guys. I'm fine with it, though I do feel like a GM shouldn't be getting personally involved with the main cast, as I know everything that will happen and that can get messy. In this case, the IC will go up on Monday as planned.

3. I can allow you all to play multiple characters. With 7 players/characters, if everyone chooses to play multiple characters we'll be capped at 14. Another awkward number, but you don't have to play more than one character if you don't want to. In this case, if anyone that wishes to double up gets their character sheet in by tomorrow, we can go ahead with a Monday IC schedule as planned.

Let me know what you all think. I'm fine with any of them. You guys playing multiple characters could be interesting, as I have some ideas that do require a large group (Larger than what we have currently).

EDIT: I totally didn't originally put this in the character's tab. Nope! You're seeing things.

I didn't catch your CS in my last post, whoops! Most taverns/bars would likely not ask for an age when serving drinks, you are correct. I'm interested to see how you'll use his Affinity Link! Accepted!

Accepted, as long as your are mindful about how you use your Affinity Link. The Link seems to have huge potential, so make sure you realize most of your characters likely aren't experts at using your Link early on. Otherwise, I like it

Is Otto's Link based on touch? Or is he able to manipulate it using his mind, like a Magneto type of metal manipulations? Accepted, either way.
In general, it appears that the consensus is on smaller squads, and we'll likely start post-training. This works for me. I'm looking to start the IC around Monday of next week, as that gives the slower folks plenty of time to put their characters up. I could move this to an earlier day, as long as we get more people within the next couple of days. I'll also use that time to post any necessary NPCs and any more information you guys might need to start.
Ah yeah, I'll touch on that in the OOC. Espara itself relies moreso on magic than technology, as it is so abundant, so technologically they are a little behind the rest of the world. Generally, they are likely around mid-late 1700's in terms of technology. Basic guns, etc. are all widely available, though electricity is a thing only seen by certain magicians with an Affinity for it. Even then, it is not entirely understood, and not readily available for general use.
