Having finished mission successfully, she reached the designated rendezvous point, arriving soon after Gideon himself returned from his mission. Blair also noticed that he wasn't alone and brought another demon with him in his chariot. A new ally? Wasting little time upon getting out of his chariot, he makes another one of his pointed comments while glancing at the visible wounds she sustained during her fight with Kushiel.

Given the newcomer and his attitude, it was clear he was trying to show off again. A part of her considered telling him of her mission, but as she recounted her fight with the Archangel, a wicked grin appeared on her face. "You can say that. Lord Mundus will be quite pleased in the very least." She finished, not saying another word, deciding to keep him in the dark about for a little longer, at least when it came time to give a full report, for max effect.

Gideon's new companion then introduced herself, offering herself and her powers towards their 'cause'. Personally, Blair had no intention in calling on her services but kept her in mind in case a situation arises in which she can be 'used'. Heh

With that last charge, it was over. As the whole acceptance spiel began, she recounted the battle. This initial focus were on using spells but in the end, it was all physical violence that ended up deciding this one. With a sign to mourn her lost time, and the others finishing up their touching moment, Matt picked up the unconscious girl and signaled an end to their little dungeon run.

Abandoned Warehouse

With Matt having long since left to bring Shizuka to the hospital, with Megumi tagging along, the rest of them were left to wait on the results of the other dungeons. Luckily, the wait wasn't long as Kami and Tadao soon came back with targets in tow. Tadao and Alexei then left to bring them to the hospital, and just when they were about to call it a night, a voice was heard from the darkness.

Instinctively, Akane reached for her weapon but when his figure came into view and was identified as police, she put some distance from him. From the looks of things, it seemed that Rui and co encountered him before. Great, a cop saw us and now knows where the hideout is. Despite the tone of his voice indicating he means no harm, the fact is a cop knows and chances are, he'll be around again. And the last thing Akane wants is a cop hanging around and start digging. She glared at Kami with a 'you dumbass' kind of look.

Even if the chances of it are slim, the last thing she wants is for the cops to start digging into her background. Well, I'm sure it's fine for now... She thought as she glared at his retreating back. Once he was gone, she eased up and breathed a sign of relief. Moments after the detective left, Rui spoke up and suggested they head home and rest and think over this another time. Akane didn't need to think twice on that, after all, she needed to get home and start drawing before her inspiration leaves her. With a smile, she headed back home.

Warakuma Hospital - After School

After dropping briefly by the club, Akane rounded up a few things and decided to head out early and make her way towards the hospital. From the events of the whole dungeon ordeal, she was able to find out that there may be a chance that the newest member of their name might be a potential Manga club member. She planned to introduce herself and give her something to read while in the hospital, just like with Alexei.

"Though....Unlike with Alexei, I'm not really sure Berserk is her kind of thing...." After going through her treasure trove of manga, she pulled out a shoujo manga, Reimei no Arcana. The manga was one of her favorites, one she just finished re-reading not to long ago. She wasn't sure if....Shizuka was it? Would like it considering she's basing the choice in genre on what she seen in the dungeon, the dating sim among other things....but you never know.

Arriving at the hospital, she went in the front entrance amid a uncomfortable amount of eyes baring down on her. Mostly from those that remember her last visit when all of her fathers men swarmed the hospital. With her initial dislike of hospitals, mixed in with the unwanted attention making her even more uncomfortable, she went up to the front desk and asked the lady at the desk if they can deliver it to Shizuka Otonashi's room for her.

Before handing the package over, she stuck a sticky note on it with her name on it, a "welcome to the team" comment finishing with an in-direct recruitment message noting where to find her (the manga clubroom) and that she should drop by sometime. With that, she left the hospital and headed back home.

While it wasn't exactly enough to knock it out completely, the combined attacks of her and Rui still did a good amount of damage. And Akane was happy about the result because this meant that she got to wail on it once more. With Rui's call, it signaled the final stretch. Time to finish it.

Using herself as bait again, Akane faced the shadow, raising her katana as she charged right at the shadow while she summoned Setana once more and had him do a Kill Rush from another direction, not giving the shadow a chance to rest.

"Finallyyyyyyyyyy," she exhaled a sigh of relief at Rui's words. "Don't think I could've lasted much longer on support duty." Akane grinned as she began stretching, clearly excited to finally get in on the fight, as she readied herself to charge in when time called for it. As she finished getting ready, she summoned Setanta. "Alright you cliche Mini-boss, it's about time we 'correct' your fashion sense." She cracked her knuckles with a sadistic grin.

Regardless of whether this plan works or not, I won't be satisfied unless I release all that pent up boredom. Heh. Once everyone got where they needed to be, Akane then waited for Rui's signal. As soon as he commenced the attack, she followed his lead and waited for her time to strike. When the moment came, there was only one choice. You know what they say, go big or go home. With that, she gave the order.

Style Points are for Styles only. So we basically need 3 battles with max style points to get 1 upgrade on a style. Personally feel that it's a bit too expensive (if we only get ~1 battle per chapter). I get that Styles are big and powerful upgrades, but ~9 months just to get to lvl 2 with one is... eeeh.

I see, so that means I only have 4 points to add to my techniques/weapons if thats the case then. =p

Mhmmm, probably one of the reasons sho recommended not making too many styles and shit at the beginning. It makes you think twice before deciding where to put your points. =p

Anyways, I kind of forgot to ask (well I never got an answer to it or at least not that I remember, if so, a refresher) with all the down-time but... is the 3 style points blair earned the only points that can be used towards upping her style? Or can the other 4 points can be used towards that as well? Not that I plan on doing that anyways. Considering upgrading my style, tech or weapon but still iffy on what to upgrade them to err the new strengthened version. Hm.

As they defeated the shadow, they finally unlocked the door and moved on. It was there they found what they were looking for, if the colors and otherwise strange sight wasn't enough. "Magical girl, huh?" Listening to bits and pieces of the conversation, she became a bit more interested in the fight at hand, well, the person at least. Hoho, a potential new recruit for the club, eh? she pondered to herself, with it not being an appropriate thought given the current situation.

As Megumi did her thing and began scanning, Rui issued out new orders. Despite being a bit annoyed at being relegated to support again, she summoned Setanta and had him cast Matarukaja again. Ahhhh I want something to hit already. She complained to herself.
