Now that I've managed to relocate the majority of my character pictures from PB to imgur, I'll make an attempt to think of a character and get my mind back into the RP game after about 3 years.
Akane Hanazawa // Velvet Room

Wednesday, July 22th, 2015

Ignoring Mako, as if he said nothing, Akane just simply glared at Igor until he decided to get to the point. She wasn't exactly a fan of forced summons. In time though, he finally started explaining the reasoning for them being there. To sum it all up, it was about them being able to use the Velvet Room however they like and being able to get stronger through Trials via 'Meals'. Calling 'trials' 'meals'? Talk about having no taste whatsoever. Cringing at her own bad pun.

Akane wasn't exactly against getting stronger, nothing wrong with leveling up in your favorite game, but she kind of figured the 'meeting' would've been more 'important'. 'Important' being some kind of dire or serious situation for them to solve. Now that would be worth her time. Well, for now, she'll keep these 'meals' in mind, just in case she has some free time.

Abandoned Warehouse

Thursday, July 23rd, 2015

The next day was truly a strange event to be hold, and which event would that be, you may as? Akane actually showing up to the warehouse without a 'summons' via Rui text messaging. We all know how easily things can turn into a habit when done in repetition and without giving it much thought, she arrived at her destination. Usually, with school in session, she'd always go to the manga clubroom, draw and then head to the warehouse via usual summons.

But with it being summer break, it seems the warehouse was becoming something akin to a 2nd club room of sorts. Well, given the fact that a good number of members were also in the manga club together, no real surprise there. Anyways, Slung over her back was a black pull string bag, once again showing how unfeminine Akane is, and in it were her sketch book and drawing supplies. Inside the warehouse were 3 people; Rui, Kotori and another girl. It took her a moment to remember, Ah, latest kidnappe'. Well, she didn't know the girl at all and her dungeon wasn't exactly thrilling, so it'll be understandable that she wouldn't recall her, yea?

Well, Akane's reasoning aside, it was clear that she wasn't exactly interested in getting to know people better. That kind of thing just happens on its own, ya know? Like how the majority of the people just happen to be in the manga club. Moving on, Apparently, Ryan, Mako, Saki Sato and the Fanatic (Sumaru), whether or not he truly is a 'fanatic' matters not to her, arrived before her but decided to take a little trip to the mirror world together. She was tempted to go in after them, but the thought of being on the same team as Sumaru shut that thought down. Her and 'those' types (religious) just don't mix, so she'll pass.

Besides, she had some drawing to catch up on (no thanks to Igor's 'summons' last night) and couldn't exactly relax at her place lately, not with her dad's goons swarming the area. Sheesh, after since that 'incident' she just can't seem to get some peace at her own place. Normally, one would say 'Well, than just go talk to your father?' but if they actually knew who her father was and what he did for a living, I wonder what they'd say then? The man is too over-protective, no matter how many times I tell him 'I'm fine, so leave me alone already!' it's just in one ear and out the other with him.

Making her way past the new girl, Akane made her towards one of the chairs that Rui had just set up. She had assumed Rui already has smooth talked his way into recruiting yet another person to the team but that thought was shut down with the girls next line. Waiting for the girl to finish, Akane finally decided to say something. "If you don't even know that much, then why are you here exactly? This isn't exactly a place for tourists you know?" A part of her was tempted to 'escort' her out of the warehouse, but she resisted the irritation, that was building from the girl's personality, and refrained.

It was best to let Rui deal with this.

It was pleasing to see the shadow still up and about, but this fight is at it's end. As it tried to fly up, limping and slow as it was, it shot off a blast of magic at them but this was just like a small wounded animal trying to make others believe it was a threat. Try as it might, it's fate was sealed and it was high time they finished it. With Akane and Rui taking to their usual sides, they begun the final charge.

Thanks to Kotori's use of salvation, her and Rui were able to continue their charge without worry. Zipping down the left side, she summoned Setanta, this time using him as a distraction, and went in for the kill. Due to the immense power of the shadow's magical fire, Akane, along with Rui, were shrouded from view and by the time it was able to see them again, Akane was already up close and plunging her Katana right through it's chest.

The shadow shrieked in rage and tried to grab her but it was much too slow as Rui and Askr made their move and cut its arms clean off. The moment Rui gave the final order, Akane grinned as she kicked off the shadow's chest and flew backwards as the others rained down a magical barrage, pummeling the shadow. And with that, it was finally over as the usual acceptance speech began. Afterwords it was the usual, take'em to the hospital talk about their next move. Once that was done, everyone went their separate ways and went home.

The Velvet Room

Thursday, July 23th, 2015

It's been awhile but here they were, back in the strange velvet room with the equally strange Igor and that assistant of his. And considering they weren't able to move from their seats, it must mean whatever this little imp had to say was quite important. However, she wasn't sure about the others but Akane for one had other plans for the rest of her night. "I'm sure what's to be said next is important and all, but can we get on with it? Not all of us has all night to sit around and chat."

She did have quite the amount of drawing to do, and being an aspiring mangaka, every second counts in their profession.
Blair | Jungle Tabernacle

"....."
Continuing to move forward, she initially countered Enepsigos remark with silence. After glancing around, she simply shrugged before finally offering a reply. "....Too spacious." A reply wasn't really needed and the Madamma probably wasn't looking for one, but the demon general decided to go along with it anyway. She can only grin in silence at Enepsigos follow-through before the demon became serious.

It was another added benefit of bringing along the Madamma, as Enepsigo's area control also allows them to receive information throughout the area of control. Through this ability, they were able to discover the existence of a 'door' and three 'keys' to opening it. Blair could only assume that this 'door' meant the seal and the 'keys' were how to open it. And the Angels have one of the 3 'keys'. With this discovery two clear options were presented to her. Option A: Wait and hide at the 'door' while the others gather the necessary keys to open the seal and thus get them all at once.

Or Option B: Find the other two keys and force her way through the ones guarding the third. Each one carried their own risks, for example. Option A, among other issues, the main one would be 'who' ends up gathering all 3 keys and meets her at the 'door'. Many potential suspects comes to mind but the main two would clearly be 'him' or the angel Zarrath. She's not worried about another potential showdown with Zarrath, but 'Him' on the other hand....that alone is reason to worry.

No matter how confident one is in their own abilities, even one such as Blair knows when a certain task or battle may very well be impossible, well, currently anyhow. If she survives a confrontation, then escaping with just serious injuries would be a stroke of luck. That said, she'll still do the job regardless of who is in her way. It won't be out of loyalty to Mundus, but simply because she has things needing to be done that require her to be living.

Anyways, that's Option A's risks. As for Option B, this one one has many. First, Misinformation. Granted, inside Enepsigos controlled area, they'll be able to pick up on information regarding these 'keys' and the ones holding them but if she was able to receive the information, it wouldn't be too difficult to imagine there being someone who could do the same or better yet, be able to block her out. It also won't be too crazy to assume they could control the information and make the 'enemy' hear what they want them to hear and thus trap them.

Another would be time. How long would it take them to track down the other two key holders? Chances are high that the ones that have the other 2 keys having high mobility or the ability to elude pursuers and force them to run around for an undetermined time and that's something Blair won't tolerate. After all, 'he' is after the seal and after what 'he' did at the last one, she cannot give that man the time needed to smash through the seal.

All in all, she decided to just go to the 'door' and wait for her prey to come to her. Blair decided that this would carry the least amount of risks and thus be the better option. After all, either way she'll have to deal with 'him', along with Zarrath and it would also save her from wasting valuable time chasing down the keys along with conserving her power for when it counts. With her decision made, she let the Madamma know. "We're heading towards the 'door'. We'll have them run around and collect them for us."

And if lucky and they arrive their first, she could have Enepsigos lock down the area and limit access or at least try to. But she won't count on that. Either way, they had their destination and started moving closer towards it.

Akane Hanazawa // Seto - Chapel Of The Martyr

Thanks to Rui taking advantage of an opportune moment with a garula, the ceiling came crashing down on the shadow and sent it crashing into the ground. The shadow was now forced to kneel on all fours as it tried to recover from the fall, now was moment. Now that it was unable to use magic, at least for the time being anyway, it was the time for the final assault.

Thanks to an assist from Kotori, sending a thunderbolt crashing into the shadow, it allowed Akane to get in close without having to deal with those pesky bone claw of it. With it's fall came the perfect moment. Summoning her persona to take advantage, "VILE ASSAULT!"

"Ranged, huh?" she muttered. All her 'attack' skills were close combat skills, in other words, support duty. With a sigh, she was left with no choice. While the others focused on the attack with their ranged skills, she'll give'em more firepower. "Setanta, Matarukaja!" They couldn't keep evading forever, they'll get tired and slip. If they couldn't dodge, then it just means they'll just need to defeat it quick. For now, the battle is up to the ranged attackers.

While it was a good thing that she was apart of the rescue team and thus again on the frontlines, she really hard to wonder about the team and whether they'll get along. It has only been a few days since Katsuro's little outburst over the exam results and already him and Kotori have been placed on the same team. Well, honestly, that in itself isn't the issue. It's more along the lines of whether they'll be able to work together or not. Not like it matters, as long there's something for her to hit and Rui's leading the way, so things will be alright.

After some walking the group reached another one of Akane's least favorite places, a church. Just like any other place in this world, it wasn't exactly normal, with the 'abnormal' part being the depictions of some kind of religious punishment all over the church's stained class. "Religion at it's finest, huh?" she muttered to herself with a cheap laugh. To her, Religion was just a load of shit. The world's oldest and longest running scam and profession next to prostitution. Religious fanatics are definitely on the top of her 'punch on sight' list.

Soon enough they found a set of stairs and climbed to the next area where they heard voices talking. Sure enough, it was their target and yet another 'shadow moment'. When they arrived, they were treated to the sight of the said target trying to pummel his shadow. "He sure flew, didn't he?" she looked on, trying to stifle a laugh at his failed attempt to hit the shadow. Once Rui gave out the usual order, she summoned persona. Like she has in many other battles, she called forth a Kill rush at the target. Ignoring the words of the target, she raised her Katana and charged in herself.

With a smile radiating bloodlust.....Well, let's see what this one has.

Even before a light refreshment course, Akane knew that she did enough to pass. The question was, what was the final result? She didn't want a sudden drop or that'll bring some unwanted attention, namely her father. Sighing at the thought, she hurried through the crowd when she heard quite a loud commotion. Getting in closer to check it it, she found at the source of the matter was Kotori and that Katsuro who was not only their classmate but the recent kidnappee. Apparently he was overreacting about his score and was hounding Kotori to teach him. Curling her lip, Akane could only give Kotori a salute in her heart as she wished her luck and surviving her ordeal.

She can't stand perfectionists, especially those who whip out such sums like that like it's no big deal. Chill out, it was only 5 points. He should be happy with what he got. Granted, given her upbringing, one might call her a hypocrite if they found her family out but it's not like it was just given to her. Writing Katsuro off as another spoiled, sheltered rich kid, she finished checking her grades and moved on. Her grades stayed around the same, so she could be happy with that.

Abandoned Warehouse ---> Mirror World - Seto

Wednesday, July 22th, 2015

It was 2 days into her summer vacation and yet, she found herself in the warehouse once more. Akane spend her days like usual, drawing and reading countless amounts of manga and watching what she could while doing both. After all, an artist must always find many different resources to draw inspiration from. Today is another such day, of course, but as per usual, these little 'trips' to the mirror world have been a chance for her to unwind and relax. After all, drawing all the time and cutting yourself off from human contact or odd amounts of time, would tend to draw one crazy.

Nothing like pummeling mobs and beating down bosses, it's quite fun. It started out solely for saving others but over the course of these trips, gradually, she stopped caring and it's been more about who to pummel and how many times. Anyways, they find themselves here today because they sensed a new area. So in short, it's an information gathering trip, hearing that, Akane's face showed a bit disappointment. With how they've always been coming in aiming to save someone, a fight was guaranteed to happen but today it's a bit different.

Though she hoped something would happen, she kept her thoughts to herself while they were discussing the plan. Soon afterword, the bird started squawking and flew into the mirror, naturally, everyone decided to follow it. Going through the mirror, they found Zeke perched above the arch of a giant torii. The surroundings were grotesque as usual, but still quite the view. Akane's mood picked up when Megumi immediately sensed something, no, sensed someone. Grinning, she knew where she was heading.

"Let's get the show on the road, yea?" She was clearly motivated now, she was more than ready.
Blair & Zarrath | Jungle Tabernacle

Zarrath hefted his katana as the blood spikes appeared and gave his own small smile as a rune manifested, creating a barrier between himself and the attack. The after effects kicked up a lot of dust, but his blade managed to deflect the spear off to the left. He had learned last time they fought that allowing those barbs to lock with Shadowsteel too long can only help Layla and unleashes an Arced Slash at the demoness after leaping back, the vertical slash rushing at her. Zarrath used it as cover, sheathing Shadowsteel and waiting for her to rush in for the attack once more in a crouched position, one hand gripping the sheath just below the crossguard and the other around Shadowsteel's hilt.

Despite efforts to draw in close, the angel managed to deflect Zalmonah to the left before leaping back and unleashing a vertical slash that sent a wave of holy energy crashing at her. Put in an awkward position, she created a spear-like 'chain' made of blood, with an open hand, and sent it crashing into a nearby tree and pulled herself out of the way. After evading the attack, she rushed in, using 'Blood Blast' to coat her weapon in blood. However, Blair stopped just out of range and planted Zalmonah into the ground, causing an explosion to erupt, causing earthly debris to scatter all over the place, interferring with the remaining waves of his previous attack. Using the aftermath as a distraction, she charged in and, Using Ragdoll, thrusted her spear at the angel in attempt to stab him and fling them into the air.

As the spear shot towards him with intent to impale, the Angel unleashed his Eviscerate, the horizontal slash connecting with the spear's tip and, for a moment, it would seem that neither would give ground. However, the moment quickly passed and the two evenly matched forces forced both Demon and Angel to slide back. Zarrath slid into a ready stance, his katana held up in front of him and gripped with both hands. "Perhaps it's time we both quit testing each other, hm?" In a flash, the Angel closed the distance between himself and Layla, unleashing a series of swift thrusts and slashes, the blade becoming covered with holy flame at odd intervals. With in less than two seconds, after images began to appear and strike where the real blade just had, except any attempt at going through them was found to be impossible, as it felt like hitting a real sword upon contact with the image. This technique was Zarrath's Blade Storm, a difficult move to counter or escape.

While her attack was once again thrawted, there wasn't even the slighest change in expression on Blair's face, treating the exchange complete indifference. However, as they forced each other to back off, the angel's words caused a dangerous smile to form on her face, making everything up to this point seem like some kind of game to them. Remaining silent, she readied herself for the upcoming counter-attack. Having gone on the defensive, she focused on blocking and diverting the dangerous thrusts and slashes, of which were imbued with holy flame at odd intervals. Almost immediately, countless after images of the angels began appearing and striking where the real one had. Blair managed to block the more serious of blows, but nontheless still was struck by the onslaught of blows. Deciding her next move, she continued to stay on the defensive. Over the course of the exchange, she started 'appearing' to lose focus and thus allowing more attacks to strike.

However, the truth of the matter was that over the course of the exchange, she began focusing on casting another spell. Despite being struck countless times, Blair had a twisted, chilling smile on her face. Having casted her 'Blood Spike Projection', she created 4 good-sized blood spikes, 2 of which formed behind the angels back, to his left and right. Giving the mental signal, the spikes came crashing down at him and just when he moved to respond, Blair moved, revealing the 2 blood spikes that were hidden behind her back, leaving the angel trapped. With this, she moved in with Zalmonah, striking the angel's sword arm with her spear.

As the spikes of blood erupted behind him, Zarrath reacted, mostly on instinct, with another barrier rune, defending him from the rear, with Shadowsteel coming up in a defensive position for a spear strike, which was instead revealed to be another pair of spikes. Holy flame covered the length of the katana as it's weilder countered with a pair of vertical slashes, one going up, the other coming down. However, it left him open to Zalmonah's strike, even if it glanced off his armor. Rounding on the demoness, the angel made a tenative slash at her to make her dance back, but found that his arm didn't move as fast as it could, feeling a slight paralysis sensation. He could feel no rune magic, something that he'd only seen Fallen use anyways, so he chalked it up to some kind of poison, which his armor offered no protection against after all.

Showing no outward expression of reacting to her well played attack, Zarrath focused for a moment before all the runes along Shadowsteel's length blaze brightly. One of said runes appears beneath Layla and after a moment, erupts upwards in a spear of holy energy. However, it was never meant to actually strike her and the angel appeared on her right side as she dodged, the glow of the runes diminished, but a slash catching her right arm, a golden rune appearing where it contacted, though it was a superficial wound. Ideally, the demoness would find that use of her right arm would be greatly diminished, if not gone completely as the Angel retreated with a pair of backwards hops once more. "It would seem that, once more, we are at in impasse."

She had to take a few shots, but doing so enabled her to get in and strike Zarrath's armor with her spear. To those unknowing, one might laugh it off and boast about the strike not getting through upon contact. But to those who have fought against her before, a strike like that is more than enough. For her demonic spear, not even armor nor magic of any sort can guarentee a stopping of her blows. Which Zarrath was able to experience once more as he felt his arm wasn't exactly up-to-par for his forth-coming assault. Though, even as Blair continued to dodge his blows, he managed coax her into position with a slight trick as he appeared on her right and slashed at her right arm. Almost idential of a situation, she too found the use of her arm greatly diminished from the paralyzing slash. Though, even if she loses use of an arm, she's still far from done and the angel knows this all too well.

Moments after the strike, she once again used 'bloodline' to create a spear-like chain to wrap around Zalmonah and recalled it to her left hand. By this point, Zarrath had retreated backwards as Blair looked on as if it was no problem at all. At the angels words, she grinned. "So it seems. It's a crying shame that we don't have limitless time on our hands." One had to wonder if all of this is on purpose, First with Kushiel and now once more with Zarrath, someone out there just won't let her go all out and finish a fight. Well, she always puts the mission first but occasionally an all-out fight is whats needed.

Zarrath chuckles, looking around them. "It reminds me of the stalemate we came to the last time we fought, though we were both far more worse for wear than we are now." The angel indicates Enepsigos. "And there was no other witnesses."

"None of them was fortunate to stay alive anyway," referring to the minions that came with him that day. "Or Unfortunate if you think about it, don't think the others would've liked what I had planned for whoever ended up surviving anyhow." Blair went a little far that day, once she invokes her Berserker style, her personality shifts completely and her desire for blood and carnage reaches unimaginable levels. That said, she did have fun draining them of their blood. Angel blood has quite a rich flavor, after all.

"Perhaps, but that was a long time ago. I take it you are here to destroy the seal then? If I had to guess, you serve that pompous jack ass Mundus, as Queen Sheba, to my knowledge, prefers things as they are." Zarrath made sure to keep an equal distance between Layla and Enepsigos, not trusting the other demon to not try and launch some kind of sneak attack.

In response to his question, she simply remained there in silence without a change in her expression, as if to confirm it. It's hardly a secret after all, them knowing so wouldn't prevent them from destroying them. However, his next statement finally aroused a reaction."Serve? Hardly," she said with a mocking laugh. [color=9e0b0f]"I prefer term 'Work'. I'm merely an 'employee', putting it in Human terms. We Demons work quite differently than you Angels do." she grinned.

While some demons might serve out of loyalty and devotion, they're in the minority. The Majority, on the other hand, were much akin to mercenaries. Most either flock to money or power or for some, both. Some for personal reasons, some for lack of ones. Some are used, some use others. There are all kinds. But to her, 'to serve' brings loyalty and devotion to mind. Blair might work for Mundus, but not a trace loyalty or devotion is there. Personality aside, one doesn't need to be loyal, or even like them for the matter to work under them.

Due to the grave situation of the seals for each side, with one wanting to destroy and the other to protect, both of them knew that neither of them could afford to waste anymore time here with a drawn out battle. In short, there was no reason for her to stay anymore. Despite the conversation, there's no way a high ranking Angel will allow an equally high ranking demon to escape.

Luckily, she brought along the perfect ally for situations like these, Enepsigos. With her ability of Zone control along with her Illusion abilities, it makes things much easier. All she needs to do is give the Madamma the signal and draw his attention away from her so she can do her thing. Problem was, despite her not being in the battle, Zarrath was being quite cautious of Enepsigos.

In short, she needed to distract him long enough to drop his guard, in the form of a faint attack, so she can do his thing. However, just as they were about to move, a change could be seen in Zarrath. Seeing this, Blair decided to stand down and see what he does next.

Zarrath had been about to make a comment in response to Layla when a blairing cry for aid came from a squad of angels, commenting that they had just had their leader, a Storm Warden, downed by a Hellhound, Shapeshifter demon, and a human, along with several of their fellows. Growling softly at having to allow Layla to escape again, the Angel spread his wings and flapped once, hovering several feet from the ground, looking at the demoness. "I suppose we'll have to leave this battle undecided once more. But, allow me to leave you with a warning. The Charred Council has sent their own agents to secure this Seal against Heaven, Hell, and anyone else attempting to interfere with the Balance. Don't underestimate them or it won't be my blade you find yourself spitted upon." With that, Zarrath turned and flapped again, soaring upwards before moving swiftly through the trees towards the source of the call for aid.
- Brittanium City - Halogen Mall - Staff Area

"We came all this way, after all. No way we'd turn tail and miss out on all the fun." Lucy, still in adventure mode, replied with a beaming smile. After taking a few moments to think it over, the mysterious man relented and decided to let them in on the know. And it involved the notorious Team Arclight.

"Team Arclight, huh? Not sure if it's just those two or the group as whole but so far they seem quite incompetent. With the way they're talked about all over, one would expect them to act more professional." She mused. But if Team Arclight is involved, this was bound to be big and big meant a lot of fun.

"Looks like that's out of the way, now off we go!" she agreed with Dan as she started walking. As they were walking, Dan, turned towards her and challenged her to the race as he started to pick up the pace. Obviously she'd agree to it but to make things more interesting, "I'm game, I'll even give you a head start....Ready guys?" She turned towards Glacia and Zap as they voiced their agreement.

After giving dan a bit of a lead, Lucy and co. took off at full speed.
