Desktop profile login won't work. Coincidence that Windows 7 is no longer supported on same day? Consider me doubtful.

I'm having way too much fun with my Legend of Zelda Encylopedia. This is the game that got me into roleplaying so have a lot invested in it's lore and stories. Too bad can't have all the games too.

Sorry about that, hadn't heard anything in a while and a lot of other things kind of pushed this one from my mind. Never did hear anything back from my question either which is what I had been kind of waiting on before posting. Well whatever, I'll just plow through then regardless.

The hunter man quickly returned the favor to Cheral by thrashing one into a building and shotgunning her opponent in the gut. She watched as the Saibamen tumbled on the ground and finally came to a stop. The Saibamen managed to rise back to its feet, but blood poured out of the knife wound with the knife still lodged inside. The Saibamen gave a sort of mangled cry and slumped to the ground dead.

"Nice moves you got there, looks like the other one still wants some more." Cheral turned toward the wall smashed alien as it stumbled out of the newly demolished hole. The creature was breathing heavily and looked like it was about ready to fall over with one more push.

"Well I don't want to risk any more acid attacks so I'll end this with my own fire cracker! Fire Grenade!"
The fired a red orb of ki at the enemy who had the sense to dodge to the side, but it didn't dodge far enough. As soon as the orb was close she clenched her fist and the ki ball exploded into a fiery inferno. The creature screamed as its body caught on fire and the plant like creature collapsed, soon to be burnt to a crisp.

A flying man came along and gave a quick shpeal about how he knew who was behind it and he could use help. He he was gone. Cheral groaned a bit as she realized there was still more to do and looked at her helper. "You know I'd actually prefer not to go but...my instincts tell me best to nip this one in the bud or there might be a lot more danger in the future. Well as long as they're only opponents of that level shouldn't be too hard, right?"

She hoped she wasn't going to regret those words as she decided to fly after the mysterious stranger.

Issue #2.03: Lost

Kara and Lucy were having great fun so far, many different styles of bands, people dancing with various degrees of success, and of course refreshments a plenty. Everyone from the rich to the poor were all mingling together through the love of music, this was how people could get along, by finding something they could bond together with. Lucy was acting a little antsy though as the ones she was waiting for had yet to play.

"There have been a few decent bands so far but where are the Lostboys? I was sure they wouldn't miss an event like this considering how new they are." Lucy lane scowled as she scanned the various bands to see if she could find any familiar clothing or instruments.

"Would it be so bad if they weren't here? I know I'm having a great time!" Kara grinned as she popped open a can of Coke and took a delightful chug of the sugary beverage.

"That...would...be...absolutely...terrible!" Lucy responded, then she took snagged a can, a Pepsi, and started to chug it down.

"Really? A pepsi Lucy? I don't know if we can be friends anymore."

"Heh, you're just jealous that your taste isn't as good as mine! The majority agree that Pepsi is king!"

"Well, the majority isn't always right, also maybe you should check your sources! Pretty sure there are other studies proving the opposite!"

"You sure about that Kara? Pretty sure I know more about the subject than you!" Lucy took another swig then grinned. "Say wanna trade?"

"Sure." Kara grinned back and the two tossed their cans at each other and caught the other brands and quickly drank the rest. "You know I do like Pepsi in small amounts but I prefer Coke still."

Lucy rolled her eyes and tossed her empty can away. "Enough with the pop talk, the real pop stars are about to arrive!" Lucy pointed toward one of the makeshift stages as a new band took their positions. Just one look instantly revealed who they were, the Lostboys.

There were two easy ways to recognize the Lostboys, either by their music or by their particular style of clothes. Like their names, the Lostboys were a bunch of guys who dressed like they had been missing from society for quite a long time. Tattered clothes with dirt and grass strains, worn hiking boots, and even instruments conditioned to look like they were old and worn out. The only thing out of place was their rather perfect looking hair and clean-cut faces.

The red-headed lead singer took hold of a mic and started to speak.

"Hello Metropolis! We're the Lostboys and we're here to make you lost in our music! Time to give you a taste of real musical talent!" With a fist bump in the air the band started to play, inviting screams from the fans, including Lucy. The song was quite catchy and Kara found herself moving to the beat along with Lucy.

Around mid-way into the second verse however, Kara realized something wasn't quite right, the music started to sound muffled. Even if there was a sound issue with her excellent hearing it wouldn't be a problem but for some reason she was finding it hard to understand the lyrics. Everything was started to sound jumbled, distorted, as if the band itself didn't know what it was doing.

"W-What is going on here?" Kara turned to Lucy who was still dancing beside her. "Is something wrong with the Lostboys?" Kara was hoping to get a second opinion from her friend but Lucy just looked confused at the question.

"What are you talking about, they sound the same as always, better even!" Looking around it appeared that everyone else hadn't noticed but that should be impossible, especially if they were fans of the band.

"Could something be wrong with me? But certainly that can't be it, right?" Kara looked back at the band and then realized that something had suddenly changed, the lead-singer was suddenly wearing a blue, hooded tunic? When did the costume change happened? Something very strange was going on. At this point there was pretty much only a barely recognizable beat left and there weren't even words being sung anymore. The lead singer's face went completely dark, as if concealed in the shadow of the hood. Suddenly a cold, ghost like voice came from the strange figure.

"Actually there is something wrong, why are you here as Supergirl?" Kara felt a chill up her spine, how did the figure know who she was?

"Huh, so Kara is Supergirl, strange I didn't realize it sooner." Lucy chimed in and suddenly the entire crowd seemed to turn on her.

Kara looked around in a panic, this couldn't be happening. "This has got to be some prank right? No way I could be Supergirl, we've got different hair and everything!"

"What are you talking about Kara, you're obviously Supergirl, just look." Lucy slip up Kara, took out her phone and posed for a selfie with her, on the screen was Kara without her wig and in her Supergirl attire. Kara slipped away from her and tried to find a way out from the prying eyes around her.

"No, no, no, this is impossible! I was just regular old Kara half a minute ago! I'll never be able to live as a normal person ever again!" Kara turned toward the faceless figure with an accusing finger pointed straight at him. "You must be behind this! I don't know how you did it but realizing you couldn't beat me, you decided to ruin my life as much as possible instead!"

The figure laughed as it tossed the mic away, the band members behind him disappeared into a sort of mist. "Oh yes I was just so angry at how powerful you are I tossed away all sense of self-preservation and decided to expose you to the world for all to see! Hardly, though I must say it is fun to see you squirm."

Supergirl was on him in a flash and grabbed the front of his tunic to bring his face up to hers. For some reason, even at point-blank range she still couldn't make out his face, which should be impossible with her vision but he had somehow managed to do it. "I don't know who you are but since I'm already exposed anyway I'll just take you to jail right now before you can cause anymore damage."

"Take me to jail? On what charges? Exposing your identity to the world? How so full of pride and arrogance Kara Danvers, you seem to be under the impression that you can still take control of the situation." Without warning, the hood caved in on empty air and all Supergirl was left holding was an empty blue outfit. She looked around quickly to try and find him but he had just vanished into thin air.

"You see, I'm the one with the power here!" She turned toward the voice and a gloved fist slammed into her face, knocking her to the ground. She scrambled back up, whoever this guy was she had actually 'felt' his blow and it hurt quite a bit. But he was gone again.

"You must think you're so great, flying around in the sky, helping the little guy on the ground like some guardian angel. You probably think you're so much better than anyone else with your fancy powers, probably haven't met anyone who could really stand up to you until today." Kara tried to get a read on his location by the sound of his voice, but it just seemed to be coming from everywhere.

"Look, I'm just a person like everyone else, I just have some powers that I know I can use to help everyone else! If you're so strong how come you're not doing the same?" She was met for silence for a moment, then she realized something strange, even though she had started fighting, all the party goers were still around. "Hey! Everyone should get out of here before you get hurt?"

Audience members looked at each other, and laughed.

"Oh I'm sorry Supergirl, we're all just in the way right? Wouldn't want to slow down the incredible super hero after all."

"You're not even human are you? The heck are you doing around us common folk anyway?"

"You're just another one of those deadly freaks, like that Wonder Woman chick who killed so many innocents!"

A swarm of hurtful accusations were suddenly thrown her way, causing Kara to recoil in horror. Kara looked around at all the accusing faces with dread, then she spotted Lucy Lane.

"Come on Lucy, it's me, Kara! I'm your friend right?" Lucy Lane smiled and stood in front of Kara.

"Oh Kara of course you're my friend." Lucy put a warm hand on Kara's cheek as if to comfort her. Then all the warm evaporated from her face, replace by an accusing stare. "But you've been lying to me this entire time haven't you? I don't want to be friends with a habitual liar and an alien."

Kara took a few steps back in shock, the emotional pain outweighing any physical she had ever endured so far.

A friendly hand supported her from behind so she stopped stumbling back, then whispered into her ear. "Would you look at that, your adoring public has turned on you in an instant. Were you hoping to be a symbol of hope? A defender of mankind? Mankind won't accept you, someone who has the power to squash them like insects. How can you be friends with them when you are so far above their playing field?"

"Shut up! Shut up!" Kara screamed and struggled but there was no power in her body. She was forced to turn around and look into the dark void of the blue hood.

"You don't belong here." The figure took out a cruel, black knife from inside his tunic and brought it up to her face. "The world doesn't need a Super-@#*%!)$" Suddenly his speech was a garbled mess and the figure seemed to start to fade away.

"Time's &%, see you !#$#!^*"

The world went dark...

"Come on wake up! Wake up!" Kara groggily opened her eyes, fluttering her eye lids a few times as she looked to see someone with a freckled face. She had the feeling she had seen him before somewhere.

"Oh thank goodness, I was afraid when you suddenly fell from the sky like that."

"Where am I?" Kara sat up, forcing the young man to back off too. She tried to get a better look around but then winced when she felt a sudden massive headache. "Ugh," she cradled her head and thankfully the pain passed away almost as soon as it came.

"In front of one of Lex Corps technology firms. I noticed a break-in and went to investigate, you came to stop them as they were leaving the building but when one of them saw you, you just suddenly dropped like a rock! I made sure to hide until they were gone and I've been trying to wake you up for a few minutes. I'm glad you're ok, good thing you're so tough or they might have killed you!"

"Thanks for being worried, it actually means quite a bit...guess that means I let them get away." Kara sulked as she looked at the damage her fall had done to the asphalt, this parking lot was going to need some repair work. "Wish I knew what they did to me. What's your name by the way?"

"Jimmy Olson, a pleasure to finally meet you Supergirl!"

Kara noticed a camera around Jimmy's neck. "Ugh, guess there is gonna be a not so flattering image of me in the papers tomorrow."

"Sorry, but I can't let a story like this go after all."

"Fine, guess I can at least help you with the story a bit so today isn't a total waste."
Interesting premise, I'll at least take a gander and look.
@Ninian Well I'll take a look and decide then, but leaning on the not side of things admittedly. Sounds like an interesting character though.
@Ninian Can't say I'm familiar with Emet-Selch so unless you can get me up to speed on who or what that is, not sure I could figure out a good setting for them.
Time to set up shop again. Come on in and browse!

Thankfully nothing chased her as she made her way home, the problem was by the time she got there who knew how much more damage those little green men would do to the city. She was just about to start flying, certain that she wouldn't be followed anymore, when a black van hard-braked right in front of her, stopping her in her tracks. Quickly a bunch of men in suits leapt out of the car and saluted her.

"We came as fast as we could mistress, hopefully in our haste we have everything you need." Cheral gratefully nodded and leapt into the back of the truck, there it was, her previous suit waiting for her.

"Hurry and help me get in this!"

"Right away!" The men shouted as they quickly started strapping her into the suit. As it was still in the prototype stage it unfortunately had not been capsulized yet. Just putting it in a capsule would be easy, but what she really wanted to do was to design a device that would allow her to instantly don it without having to take the extra time to get into the suit. With all the help from her family though she was fully decked out in record time.

She quickly checked the suit to make sure it was properly powered and everything appeared to be in order. "I'll happily give you guys a recommendation to my father later!"

"Thank you Mistress Castella!"

Cheral laughed and instantly felt confident, just feeling the suit on her skin gave her a powerful sense of security, to the point it seemed like she could feel the electricity crackling through her arms and legs. She was ready to fight and save her family's investments in the city and the civilians of course. Jumping out of the van she flew back toward ground zero of the alien attack.

There was certainly a lot of fighting going on, but she was going to assume that only the green dudes were the only ones actively attacking the city. One fighter seemed to be rather competent in fighting multiple of the creatures while another, some kind of hunter looking person seemed like he was having some trouble. Figuring it was better to make sure as many potentially allies were available if there were more of them, she dove down on the nearest one to her position that were staring down the hunter guy.

As their eyes were glued on him and his knife, it allowed her to get in quite close before her target suddenly noticed her descent. With a gleeful cackle, it looked up and raised it's arms overhead to defend. At the last moment she flipped herself over and brought an armored boot down hard on the creature. The extra momentum from the flip broke the alien's guard and it stumbled back a few steps in surprise. Cheral found she had to regain her own footing though form the force of the attack so she wasn't able to fully capitalize on her fierce assault.

The other Saibaman nearby turned to face her in response to her attacking the other one. Cheral's armored visage looked at it for a moment while keeping tabs on her initial target.

"No, shoo! Go play with the guy with a knife like you were just about to do!" She then re-positioned herself so that she was behind the other Saibaman which would hopefully make it loose interest in her, a sort of out-of-sight out-of-mind type thing as the creatures did not seem that intelligent. It seemed to work but almost instantly the one she attacked decided to start its own counter attack.

The Saibaman charged her, lashing with its nasty claws to tear her apart, but Cheral was going to have none of it. It was a bit awkward fighting something so small but she managed to parry and blow all its attacks, she heard a bit of a clang as the claws hit her arm but the armor held firm and her blocks were solid. She tend lashed out herself and knocked away the Saibaman with a kick to the head, the alien tumbled on the pavement for a bit before righting itself.

"All I know little bobble head, is that you decided to mess with the wrong city! This part of town is under my family's protection so that mean's you're going to have to pay the price!" The alien of course didn't understand her and instead tried to douse her with a geyser of acid. She rather, ungracefully, dodged to the side and ended up rolling on the ground in her haste.

"Hey! Watch the suit, it's not finished yet! Don't be a poor sport since your stupid little claws can't rip through it!" She glared through her visor, the creature was strong, but as long as she avoided the corrosives her suit should give her a substantial advantage over the enemy. She was about to pound the acid out of this little bugger!

Location: United States Skies - Lex Luthor’s Private Jet
Issue #2.02: Keeping Ahead of the Game

Lex Luthor found himself in a good mood after his most recent visit to Washington D.C. Lex Luthor had made it one of his key objectives to get in the good graces of some key senators that had championed the D.M.A. so he could help, add some helpful parts to metahuman legislation. As usual it was too easy to nudge congressmen in the right direction. The promise of a fundraiser here, the procurement of some hard to find item there, almost all government officials had their price and Lex Luthor had the means to get anything they desired.

While it was very easy to get them into his debt the one thing that was most important was to let them believe it was either their idea or that they were helping him somehow. It was somewhat amusing to think that a few of them were deluded enough to believe they were becoming invaluable assets to Lex, what could a paltry congressman possible give a man who had one of the largest corporations in the entire world, a man with ties in all sections of the world in some form or another. A deluded man or woman, were the easiest to control, it was those with a moral compass he had to worry about, thankfully they never seemed to last very long in politics.

Looking out the window at the planet below Lex Luthor smiled contentedly, aside from a few hiccups, mostly on the Metropolis front, everything seemed to be falling in place. The foundation was in place but like all things political, it was still going to take a while. In the meantime he would be able to relax a little and concentrate on more local matters.

“Here you go Mr. Luthor, enjoy!” A bright young stewardess came up to the multi-billionaire and handed him a crystal glass with a bubbly clear liquid. She was a pretty young thing with curly blonde hair, decked out in a white and red accented uniform made to accentuate her womanly figure. She was quite lucky to be hired my Lex Luthor, she was certainly pretty enough, especially after his staff dolled her up, but that’s all she was, a pretty face to impress those who had the good fortune to ride with the one and only Lex Luthor.

“Thank you my dear.” Lex Luthor gladly took the glass and took a small sip. The refreshing taste of seltzer water with a hint of apple tickled his tongue. The carbonation made sure that the drink was exciting to the mouth and the apple flavoring gave it that hint of sweetness to ensure the water was a delight to drink rather than just a boring refreshment.

Lex Luthor noticed that the stewardess seemed to have a question on her mind by the way she was still hovering around.

“You look like you want to say something?”

“Oh, sorry it’s just…well I somewhat assumed you would be having a fancy glass of champagne or wine, but here you are, one of the richest men in the world and you’re just having a glass of seltzer water.” She had hesitated for a good moment before asking her question, no doubt afraid she was out of line.

Lex Luthor laughed and put the glass to the side. It was sometimes fun to explain the simplest of things to people. He had to admit, he was a little surprised at her question.

“As you know, I could obviously have any drink in the world, the most exotic of flavors and the highest quality drink. Yes I could be enjoying such a delicacy but alcohol is for socializing. Alcohol is amazing for loosening the tongue and getting people in a pleasant mood but casually partaking of such a drink could prove detrimental to my work. I need my mind at its best so a simple, flavored seltzer is just the thing to brighten my mood and tantalize the senses. I do more than enough sampling at social events so I try my best to keep my private alcohol consumption to an absolute minimum. After all, I wouldn’t want to be known as some heavy drinker or a party animal like some billionaires I could mention. I have an image to uphold as a member of the world’s highest society so I must be moderate in all things.”

Lex Luthor enjoyed watching the girl try to keep up with his explanation, did she understand what he was saying or was she merely pretending to do so to appear brighter than she was. He was about to continue conversation when he noticed Mercy and come from the aircraft’s back room with a laptop in hand. Her face was emotionless, which meant she was none too happy with how Lex Luthor was conversing with one of the hired help.

“You will have to excuse us my dear, it appears my utmost attention is needed.”

The pretty stewardess fluttered her eyes for a moment in confusion before she looked behind and noticed the imposing figure of Mercy Graves behind her. Flustered she quickly made sure she had everything she needed and retreated out of sight. Mercy quickly took a seat opposite of Lex and plopped the laptop on the table, but instead of opening it like a normal laptop she opened it up completely so it was flat on the table and instantly a holographic display of the laptop’s screen jumped up in front of them.

Graphs and numbers jumped up in front of Lex, his countenance quickly turned a little sour as he noticed what was wrong, a sharp drop in revenue in Metropolis. The losses were already in the millions of dollars in the illegitimate enterprise category. The legitimate sector was still fine for the most part but if enough loses accumulated in the underground, it would eventually spill over into regular LexCorp dealings.

“Sorry Lex, I wish I had better news but Supergirl has really dealt a blow to our underground networks. Our Intergang connections in particular have had a hard time getting any profitable work done, several high profile operations have already been thwarted by her, but of course I made sure that nothing could be traced back to LexCorp.” Mercy cracked her knuckles for emphasis on what kind of lengths she went to ensure nothing escaped her notice.

Lex Luthor nodded, happy to have such a resourceful subordinate, but of course the growing pain in his side was just getting worse, there had to be a way to move Supergirl out of the picture. The problem was Supergirl seemed literally untouchable, an absolute ludicrous amount of speed, power, senses, nigh invulnerability, and even flight made the superhero incredibly difficult to escape from once she had her sights on a target. She couldn’t be killed, yet, hardly anything could outrace her, hiding from her eyes was incredibly hard, and that left very few options to thwart her efforts. The best way to ensure an operation’s success was to distract her with something else but that was expensive and inefficient. The other option was to make sure an operation was completely stealthy but that took a lot of time and effort to pull off so it slowed everything down.

It was a tough puzzle to figure out but every puzzle had a solution, he just needed to find the right tool for the job. Something he had seen earlier suddenly came to his mind.

“By the way Mercy, I’ve heard of a new operation in town that has been almost effortlessly making heists throughout the city at even the most heavily guarded of facilities. What information do we have on them?”

Mercy was surprised by the change in topic but she quickly switched the screen over to bring up the new crew in town. “They appear to be a dark web group for hire, what is most surprising is how easily they can complete their objective with very little prep time. From the reports, it appears they have the ability to instantly incapacitate an entire area’s staff which then allows them to easily raid a facility as the only obstacle left is the security systems in place. Since there are no people to react to the intruders they have little trouble bypassing security and securing their target.”

A brief video showed the inside of an office where in an instant, the entire staff dropped to the group as if dead, but the gentle rise and fall of their chests revealed they were just sleeping. It was completely unnatural and was obviously not chemically induced. Lex Luthor smiled as a plan formed in his head, but it needed testing.“Mercy, I’ll need you to organize a raid on LexCorp labs.”

“Our own lab Lex?”

“Indeed, but we’ll need to make sure Supergirl knows about it. Maybe there is a way to take down Supergirl after all.”

Well just for fun wanted to list all the people and the characters they are applying for so it's easy to see for all.
