True, but I was speaking more for myself than a character I would create :) Juyo and Vaapad are considered forbidden forms by the council, as emotion is seen as a trip to the dark side, but it is later listed among the forms. Same as Djem So was developed from Shien. Mace and Depa Billaba were the only ones to master it, unfortunately Depa later falling to the dark side.

As a person, I do yoga, and for my Jedi Academy, I was able to teach meditations and breathing exercises. By mastering my emotions and finding that mind body balance, my master is allowing me to learn Vaapad :p But I am small in stature, (I am your average short girl), and while I can certainly hold my own in a duel, I find it easier to use ones moves against them. Defense will only get you so far.

Edit- I don't think I have ever felt like a bigger dork before just now lol It isn't my intention to take the fun out of it for anyone, so I am hugely sorry if I am >.<

That is certainly interesting, @RogerD. But I'm not sure I view it in the same way. The living force is just an aspect of the force, but everyone is connected to it. It is why Leia sensed when Han died. There are some more sensitive to it, and in some texts, Qui-Gon was considered to be a student of it, he was also constantly reminding Obi-Wan of it and to be mindful of it. But it gives no one special abilities or powers. It's not necessarily a path one can take. Your character may be more knowledgeable about it than mine or may be more sensitive to it, but that's what I see.

In terms of fighting styles, they weren't all aggressive. I believe originally, they were based off of kenjutsu? I could be wrong, but at this point, the actual fighting styles are a blend of several types of martial arts, including that of Tai Chi. There are certain moves, certain styles where you'll see a lot of tai chi. Everything is supposed to be fluid. It's all going to depend on your personal preference.

I myself favor Shien and Djem So... I may dip a little into Vaapad. But ultimately, I am the way of the Krayt Dragon *huge silly face stamped here*

I might have some interest, but I can't say I have a lot of time. Being a grown up sucks hard :p

That being said, I am a newly ascended Jedi Knight in a group I participate in irl, currently studying for my master exams. So ... I guess the purpose behind that statement would just be to show how much of a fan I am.

I'm not typically into fandoms, and I have two rp's taking up a lot of room on my plate. But if I can hang around and see how this goes, I might be obliged to make a character :)

I hate that I haven't had a chance yet to really sit down and put thought into my writing here lol been really busy at work, and apparently some men are babies when they are sick, so looking after the hubby when I've been home, I haven't really had a moment to myself :p

Lerraina stifled a laugh as the scene unfolded in front of her. My, were they in a tough spot. Stuck in the mud, in the middle of the rain, on a route that is frequented by dangers untold and hardships unnumbered. And the anger displayed … she just wanted to smother the large man and give him a big fat kiss. She could see the rage boiling just below the surface. It wasn’t evil by any means, but it came from a place that she knew all too well. And how disciplined he was, that it was released only through harsh words and enough adrenaline that seemed sufficient enough to get them out of the mess they were in.

They had all tried to put in their own two bits, making suggestions and goodness they were a mixed bunch. Some with magical abilities, a dainty young lady emerged from inside the wagon. And a wolf … she wasn’t sure if she trusted that or the orcs more. She wrinkled her nose a moment as she looked over the rabble before turning her attention back to Keystone.

”Seems my help wasn’t needed after all then, but it’s good to see such spirited young folk about the road in dreary times.” she winked, a sly grin plastered on her face, her words trickled off with a soft chuckle. She hadn’t meant to be rude, and her tone was to make light of the situation rather than be facetious. ”But I do thank you for the invitation. I can’t say for certain how I would fare on my own out here. And sometimes, just sometimes, it is nice to have company.” she shuffled up next to him, helping him square away the rest of the mess as they continued on.

She wasn’t that comfortable with his next statement, but she felt obliged to give them something. ”There isn’t much to tell really … my name is Gretchin, I come from somewhere that is not here and I am never going back. . The discomfort was obvious enough, and it wasn’t a complete lie. She pulled her flask from her belt and stole a sip in between her words. ”Short and sweet, unless there is something else you’d like to know.”

@Belwicket I will make it known that I don't like it. I think it was poor timing and that something could have been worked out as to not create such a pause in Regina's part in the story. It just doesn't fit, she's on the side of the road, in the middle of a rain storm, with the house caving in on itself. There could've been a little more interaction, or it could've waited until they were at a safer place.

That being said, I would like to see things return to pace. I know it has been a crazy weekend, for those celebrating it, Happy Memorial Day. Who is next to post? Where are our 2 knights in shining armor?
