Salutations, I read the start of a role-play posted to this Guild thought of a character and made an account; and that it. Really that is it you can leave now.
The Brown Isles is a place of beauty, so much so that you sometimes just need to stop and take in the scenery, and that is exactly what Hollyday did. Walking away from one of the more isolated houses Hollyday took in the undisturbed sounds of nature; as he discarded a pair of slightly bloodied gloves. The chirps of the nocturnal birds in the area, a rustling of some species of large lizard in the tall grass, Hollyday could even pick up some of the people going about their lives in town. Well, it may have calmed down a bit in the setting sun with the number of pirates that frequent the area, running on different circadian rhythms, there are always people going about their business at all times of the day and night.
Having everything already done that needed to be done tonight completed so early Hollyday didn't know what to do. Well not remotely tired, he has always been a night owl, and nothing else to do he decided to go for a walk around town and explore a little bit. Maybe find a place to update his bounty poster collection, It was always good to know who had a bounty on them as it helped avoid the more dangerous individuals. The only downside was running into a bounty hunter when picking up new posters. Not that they had a problem with him, as far as most believed he did not have a bounty, Hollyday just really didn't like them and that arrogance that they always have.
"That can be dealt with later, for now, I need to deal with the person following me" At some time after returning to town a pirate started following Hollyday, one of the troubles of traveling alone is thieves tend to target you more. 'Sorry, but I am not that easy of a mark' Hollyday began leading his would-be mugger around looking for a place to get rid of them. This came in the form of an alleyway. Between two buildings was a passage that was just wide enough for two people to stand side-by-side, and was hidden from the main street enough that it would be slightly too dark for most people. Just the right place for an ambush.
As a man with an extraordinarily large number of tattoos, including one that appeared to be a snake of the right side of his face, peered around the corner of the alleyway that he saw his target go down all he could see was a bag sitting on the edge of the light. Now if this man was smart he would realize this is a trap and.......go right for it, apparently. Hollyday thought he would be smarter and just walk away, but he apparently overestimated this man and his environmental awareness.
Here is an odd habit that people have, No one ever looks up. It is almost like a blind spot with how little people pay attention to what directly above them. Like how 'snake-face' never saw that the person he was following suddenly drop down from above him.
The semi-reflective silver surface of the elevator was a beautiful sight to see. Up to this point the only colors were gray, gray, blue, and more gray. It was quickly becoming depressing, being surrounded by only concrete walls. Wait, Blue? Ashley finally noticed that Alastair had found something. Some kind of blue orb, but it is not clear what it came from. Click! When Ashley moved to get closer to see what Alastair found she accidentally kicked something metal. A sawed off shotgun, a quick job as the edge doesn't seem to be filed smooth, was slightly obscured by the rubble along with who seems to be its previous owner. Carefully moving the rubble aside the person was defiantly dead. Whoever she was she was some survivor, Ashley guessed with her improvised armor, and has been dead for a little bit. With the elevator opining Ashley returned the girls shotgun to her before entering the elevator, completely forgetting about what ever Alastair had found. The elevator may not lead out, but it was more than likely the way forward. 'Although the girl had shoes, so who was that I heard running earlier?'(@Assallya) Ashley wondered.
As for the flag, since most seemed to be based off the captain I was thinking a rose over one eye of the skull and thorn vines wrapping around the whole~
Name: Hollyday Alias: The Firebird Age: 23 Position: Doctor (Assassin)
5'8", pale complexion, light brown hair, sea blue eyes, preference for baggy clothes (to hid all the knives), slim build.
Personality: Free spirited, polite, and somewhat eccentric with a Perpetual jovial grin are the staples of who Hollyday is. Calm with a slightly dark sense of humor the only things that Hollyday truely dislikes are Marines and Bounty Hunters. Hollyday's honor is only involved in being a Doctor, in almost any other situation Hollyday would not care and just do whatever needs to be done.
Don't get caught. That is Hollyday's mantra, prayer, and the main rule. Don't get caught. Hollyday, well probably not born with one, had a knife in hand since around birth. It is just a rule in the area if you are unarmed someone is going to try and take advantage of you, one way or another. Now this town didn't really have a name, no one bothered to give it one I guess, but most called it the City of Grime. It got the name from this smoke that floated in every night and just stuck to anything outside leaving this thick coat of grime on everything, you really did not want to be outside at night. The City of Grime was on Pawprint Isle the other, and 'main' city was Hoof Town. Well, the distance between them is not too far apart, getting into Hoof Town was almost imposable. The City of Grime was created with less than reputable people kicked out of Hoof Town, so no one from The City of Grime can leave. Pawprint Isle was a considerably large Island with four smaller Islands poking out from the water on one side that make the whole thing look like a paw print, giving it its name. In truth, there were more, even smaller, outcroppings surrounding the islands which would rip most boats apart. Except for this one spot, the one possible port, which is right were Hoof town is. Well, there are no real laws and plenty of actual criminals, not everyone is all that bad. Some try and make the best they can for the situation, such as Dr. Bartholomew Holiday, one of the only doctors in town and Hollyday's teacher. The old man tried to help as much as he could, but with the generally filthy conditions, people were prone to sickness. Hollyday lived with Dr. Holiday working sort of as an apprentice to the doctor. Wasn't the first as the old man had a habit of taking is strays. In that time Hollyday learned several things like what caused the Smoke, why the Marines did not care about it and what it did to the City, and That Dr. Holiday was not born in the City. Well, The City of Grime was made by criminals, there is never anyone that has an official bounty that lives there. So the day bounty hunters arrived was quite the strange one. Apparently, they made a deal with Hoof Town to trade part of a bounty to be let back out. It would be worth it as the guy they were after apparently 'stole' a certain Devil Fruit from a Marine Captain and may still have it on him. He did not. The bounty hunters severely over estimated his abilities, and killed him in a moment. They lost the Devil Fruit and The City of Grime lost one of its only Doctors. Do you remember how I said it is almost imposable to get in to Hoof Town? Well there are some ways such as paying off a guard, risk swimming around, and there is rumors of a hidden tunnel somewhere leading inside. Through, around, or under until Hollyday no one tried going over. When Hollyday gained the ability to get inside Hoof Town things started to go wrong. Food stuffs started depleting faster than anticipated, supplies would go missing or be found destroyed, and one night a Marine storage building caught fire and exploded destroying it and everything inside. Interestingly the smoke that polluted the City of Grime stopped that night as well. Hollyday has not been back there since then. Too busy running from, or too, something.
Medicine: Hollyday has an excellent understanding of anatomy, physiology, common diseases, and emergency medical procedures. Tori Tori No Mi, Model: Owl A Zoan Devil Fruit Allowing its user to transform into an Owl hybrid and a full Owl at will. Stealth: The process of blending in by either hiding out of sight, or in plain sight. Poison crafting/Poisoning: "Medicine is just very controlled poison" Improvised Weapon Fighting: With no promise of having a reliable weapon on hand, Hollyday had to learn to use everything. Sharpened pieces of metal, staffs, bottles, your weapon, some cloth, a sling and rocks, punching, Everything. Enhanced Dexterity: Fast, flexible and really good balance. Fundamental abilities, but more useful than one might expect.
Knives (40)- Small, kind of cheap, disposable, each is not that well made, but still rather good at stabbing things with. Chain - Hollyday found this 5' long discarded chain and now uses it as a flail weapon. Eggs- hollowed out eggs containing pepper, ashes, salt, dirt (finely grounded glass can also be used), and/or other materials. Gunpowder bombs- Explosive, smoke, flash bang. Gunpowder is Hollydays favored tool. Anesthetics
Eye closer: Creak An 'Egg' and fling what it holds into the face/faces of the target/targets. A variation if at a longer distance then don't break the 'Egg', throw it at the targets face so it breaks on contact. Pro; Increases distance Con: only one target, a chance they can avoid it. Smoke cover: Using a small bomb up close, or a larger one upwind, smoke is a useful tool to infiltrate, escape, or confuse. Shadow Step: typically used after Eye closer or Smoke cover, Hollyday starts sprinting as fast as possible, because the target cannot see clearly they souldn't be able to tell were Hollyday is, seemingly appearing and disappearing around them. Sometimes the target may preserve multiple Hollydays if they are thrown off guard enough. Metal Hailstorm: Hollyday takes a bag of nails, or other similar objects, and partly transforms, flies up high above the target and drops the nails in the general area they are in. As there is no way to aim this so it works best against large enemies or groups of enemies.

Ok, this is what I got. I am probably bluntly missing something. So tell me what is wrong with it. First thing I forgot, this @Noodles
"A Minotaur? Well that would be fun, we probably should not." Ashley looked ahead at the blocked way. "Let's find another way around." Ashley began taking a few steps back, slightly concerned about her companion's coughing fit. If he started getting sick or something that would be bad. She kind of wants to keep him around, not that he was a great conversationalist, she just didn't want to be alone right now.
"Whatever caused the cave-in is probably is busy with that so we could slip past it. can you still walk?" referring to his leaning on the wall and apparent difficulty breathing. @King Cosmos
