Home District: Columbia-Heights Park - Priscilla Isle
AppearanceHair Color: Black, dyed dark purple (hard to see except in direct sunlight)

Physical Appearance:Nadoka was born a natural beauty. Her skin maintains an even balance between her dark and light ancestors and gives off a soft caramel glow. Her eyes draw drastic attention with their luminescent blue shade. She hardly wears make up because of her lack of need (along with the ethical immorality most cosmetic companies offer.) She is a bit taller than the average female but has occasionally bad posture, making her appear shorter than she is. Her interest in yoga and running is evident in the lean, slightly muscular build of her body. She has a few curves but nothing most people would get excited about. She wears her hair natural, often opting for tight curls over bothering to straighten it. She doesn't like to put too much effort into it and will resort to just throwing it into a ponytail or pulled into a bandanna. She often walks lazily, with an unintentional gait (as if she never has anywhere important to be.) She speaks in a soft but confident tone unless she's yelling at you for testing on animals.
Attire: Kody dresses in the same vein as a modern "hipster". She likes trendy, boho type attire, sticking often to dark, natural, or muted colors. She will only dress in clothing she knows to be ethical (morally and environmentally.)
PersonalityInnate & Outward Personality:Nakoda is intelligent and tenacious. She will always stand up for what she believes to be truth and justice and she is not afraid of confrontation. She often finds herself fighting for the underdog. Kody is intuitive and analytical but she will often keep her true thoughts to herself in order to manipulate a situation to her favor. She can come across as prideful because of her knowledge on a plethora of topics but really just has the desire to share what she knows with others. She thrives on being able to gather and analyze vast amounts of information on anything that interests her at the time. Kody is sarcastic, witty and has what other call a "sharp tongue." She works best in environments where she can see clear rules and clear responsibilities (because of her distaste for unresolved miscommunication). She gets frustrated in chaos. She prefers to spend her time alone and uninterrupted but has a soft spot for her twin sister Davina. She is content without friends but finds intelligent, quick witted people appealing. When leadership is lacking, Kody is willing to step into that spot and lead. While she rarely ever backs down from a fight, she always resorts only to words and prefers pacifism over any type of violence.
Hobbies/Interests: She loves the outdoors and the beach, enjoying the direct connection to nature. She enjoys cultural festivals and music because of the beauty they exude. She has aspirations to become a world-traveling photographer and someday hopes to be able to someday capture her world view in a photo. Nekoda often spends her time at rallies and protests for various rights groups - most notably animal rights. When she's not working, shes volunteering at an animal shelter or making posters for her next "Save the Whales" sit in. She also has a passion for health and fitness, favoring yoga and running.
Skills/Talents: She has a sensational eye for art and beauty, giving her adept abilities with a camera. Her favorite subjects are animals and children. She has a moderate singing ability (that she won't admit to) and can play the cello exceptionally well.
Prized Possession:White and gold tiger bracelet (origin revealed IC)

History/Bio:Identical twin girls Davina and Nakoda Uriah were born in Los Angeles California at midnight one scorching August night. Nekoda was the second born of the two and had a fire within her that started the moment she took her first breath. As a child she was fierce and independent, clinging only to her sister for any sort of support. The two of them were inseparable. Up until middle school, Kody thought only of her sisters wellfare. Then she met Corey. The boy had beautiful ginger hair and a stream of light freckles across his cheeks. Kody was smitten the first time they met. This infatuation lasted the entire year. It could have made it through the summer if Nekoda hadn't recieved dreaded news: they were moving. Her parents had landed a job in the town of Verthaven as research developers for a group called The Savior Foundation.
The move was simple and easy. The Foundation had arranged their home as well as for the movers to come. After they arrived, Kody made no effort to make friends. She spent her time alone or with her siblings. She made little effort with her parents, holding a grudge for their part in her separation for Corey. Once she graduated, Nakoda opted to spend time "finding herself" instead of heading to college. Her parents took a strong dislike for this direction in life. She had excelled proficiently in school, graduating in the top 1% of her class. She had been praised as her cello teacher's best student, even being hinted as a prodigy. They felt she could put herself to better use by choosing a career in their field or following Davina to medical school. Instead, she followed her natural eye for photography. An op-ed photography assignment for a local magazine led her Bogota, Colombia. There, she witnessed corruption that would forever haunt her. These violent acts set a fire to her bones and a resolve in her mind. When she came back to America, she immediately found others who were as impassioned as she was against the wrongs in the world. And there were so many wrongs. Animal mistreatment, child abuse, domestic violence. It never seemed to end. Kody immediately took a job as a barista at a local cafe to support herself. After Davina finished med school the two of them got an apartment together and Kody a pact with herself to rid the world of every injustice she came across.

AbilitiesPower Class:Power
Power: Nakoda has the ability to sense and track other meta-humans. She initially finds this person by a glowing “aura” around them. The stronger/more developed the meta's ability is, the brighter they glow. Once she has seen this aura, she can find them anywhere, at any time.
Limits: She can only find a meta-human after she sees them first. She cannot find them after they’re dead. She cannot track more than one person at a time. She can only see around them, she cannot hear what's being said and is unable to contact or control them in any way. She does not know what their abilities are, just that they have them. She cannot see a future meta human, only those whose powers have manifested.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:Seeking out meta humans is a severe energy depletion for her. Any extensive time spent seeking out a meta will cause physical pain, blurred eyesight, dehydration, and could potentially render her comatose.
Other: Kody is vegan.
Sample Post: “And what do you think of her…abilities?” The woman asked, adjusting her glasses slightly. Her head was tilted at a dramatic angle and her eyes peered violently into Nekoda’s. The woman’s hair was pulled back so severely that her soulless eyes were pulled along with them. It made her look old. Nekoda looked down at her own hands, resting uneasily in her lap, before answering, “I think she needs to be more careful than she is.” Nekoda glanced up at the woman across the room in an attempt to make her lie more believable. The room was well lit, putting emphasis on the barren bookcase against the wall. It was as if the room was made to look like an office but the designer had given up halfway through. It was basically a glorified closet. The woman, a psychologist associate of her mother’s named Dr. Peed, didn’t so much as blink. Dr. Peed, Kody thought to herself. There are so many places I could go with that. Fortunately, Kody had enough practice maintaining an apathetic poker face that she was confident the doctor didn’t know how much of a joke this was to her. Counseling sessions. For what? So their family could pretend Davina was just "sick"? That she could be "cured"? This is so wrong. She thought. Davina’s powers were getting stronger every day. Her parent’s loyalty to The Savior Foundation was causing their entire family to be thrown into this circus; all to maintain her parents’ reputations. The Saviors were destroying the very fabric that kept their family together. Nekoda would never turn on her sister and she’d go to her grave before she let anything or anyone come between them.
The session wrapped up and Nakoda headed out to the parking garage to grab her car. Her mind, however, was elsewhere. An idea had struck her and she couldn't let it go. There was a way around this oppression that was being forced on Davina. Kody stuck her key in the door of her black Jeep and it unlocked. She sat in the leather seat, opened her cellphone and dialed the second saved number on her speed dial. A gruff voice answered, audibly frustrated at being woken up at...noon. Kody didn't wait for him to finish cursing before she interrupted. "Listen, meet me at my place as soon as possible. I know how we can take down NEST."
