Taylor took the soda with a smile, pocketing her phone once she saw Liv had read the message. Running a hand through her curly hair, she let out a soft sigh and popped her soda open. "I really hope Finn has some solid evidence to back her up. I don't doubt her claims for a second, I'm just... a stickler when it comes to proving things right." Taylor simply shrugged it off and took a sip from her soda before looking over at Liv. "Maybe we'll have a chance of getting our girl back." Taylor didn't know what to do. It probably meant more to Liv than it did anyone else in this town to find Riley... and that, along with the fact Taylor and Riley had been friendly before, it meant Taylor was willing to do whatever she could to help get her back home safe.

The smell at the lake, the tracks and then the mayor being murdered. The murder scene having looked like it was a wolf or some kind of four-legged canine. It still remained a mystery to Taylor of what all it could mean, or how it could potentially relate. But why just... kidnap Riley, and murder the mayor? Was it because she was a woman? Was it to scare the town first before killing off the mayor? Whoever it was, Taylor felt they had to have really hated the mayor. I mean, who didn't? Olivia's question caught her off-guard for several reasons, but more so for the fact she even had to ask. Taylor wasn't one to lose her cool, though. Especially with Oli.

"I don't think Declan told her on purpose. He was probably backed into a corner, somehow. He knows how big of a secret this is. He's technically the oldest of the three of us, with this... disease. I know the only person he's told intentionally is Miranda." Taylor realized she hadn't yet answered Liv's question. She shook her head and looked Olivia in the eyes, her voice very calm but absolute. "He wouldn't tell anyone about us. He knows that's our secret and our burden to bare."
I'll be posting tonight for Taylor, if I get the time. If not, expect it tomorrow!

Olivia's response nearly floored her. She was genuinely inviting Finley over. Then again, if it meant bringing Riley back, she's probably work with the Devil himself. Taylor knew this was important to her. Modding simply, she began typing out a new message but could hardly finish it before she received another from Finley. It had Taylor turning ghost white. How does she know about him?

It didn't cross Taylor's mind for a second that Declan may have ratted her out as well. She knew her cousin better than that, and knew he was good for keeping secrets. But the questions remained. Did he tell her? Was she in the wrong place at the wrong time? Who else knew? What was Finley going to do with this information?! Once the question flew through Taylor's mind and she had a moment to process the other thing Finley mentioned, she tapped out a text really quick before turning her phone over to Olivia to read for herself. "Guess our girl's alright."

[[ To Finley:
I know this is asking a lot, but come over to Oli's. Dec will turn up eventually. He doesn't roam very far or for very long..and if he's hiding, you won't find him unless he wants you to. Trust me. ]]

Declan
@Damo021

When Miranda came around with his pants, he gently took them. The hairs on the back of his neck stood on end and he got goosebumps the second Miri placed her hand on his back. He blushed softly and quickly pulled his pants on. Something about her always seemed to calm him down. Whether it was his feelings for her or the fact that she was just a very calm person in general. Declan looked over his other shoulder to meet her gaze with a soft half-size, shaking his head.

"No worries, Mir. It's okay. You're part of the adult world, now. I'm still stuck in school. With Lacrosse and Baseball, plus all the school drama? It's enough to keep this beast at bay and out of touch. Don't blame yourself." He half laughed at calling himself a beast. Closing the distance between them, he firmly wrapped her up in a hug and rest his cheek on the top of her head as he did. "Thank you, Mir. I really appreciate you being here and being one of three people I can count on to back me up."

Her questions made him realize just how NOT ready he was to talk about everything. But he would, because Miranda usually knew a way to help him. He let her go and watched her walk to the kitchen, smirking a bit. He couldn't help but really look at her as she walked. A part of Declan still felt guilty for doing it, as if he still had someone to be loyal to, but then it hit him again and he shook his head of the fresh memory. He realized then that he was alone in the room. Declan sighed heavily and ran a hand through his hair, looking out the window to see the sun slowly setting. It was beautiful.

Before Declan had a chance to really do anything but stare out the window, Miranda was back in the room with a beer and a drink for herself. He wished she had something a little stronger than beer, but knew she wouldn't stand for him getting drunk. Especially under her roof. Declan took the beer with a soft smile in return and mumbled a 'thank you' before taking a seat beside her on the couch.

Declan took a long swig of his beer before hunching over, his arms laying over his thighs, head hanging low. He chewed on the inside of his lip a moment before beginning. "Finley and Je-.." His heart clenched at the start of that name, causing him to try that sentence again. "Fin and Gwen know. I had no choice but to tell them. It goes along with the story of how I got the burns." He took a hand off the bottle and overturned it, holding it out for Miranda to see for herself.

"We were trying to find Gwen. She was supposed to meet up with us, and somehow ended up in the mine where she got hurt. Finley and I finally found her. Finley couldn't have done it alone, so I had to go inside and get Gwen. But the silver.." Declan shook his head and retracted his hand, wrapping it around the bottle again. "I tried saving her, but the silver really got to me and I passed out. They ended up having to drag me out of there. Once I came to, Gwen started drilling me with questions, then Finley too. They weren't gonna let up, nor let me go without chaperoning me to the hospital. I had to tell them. And Gwen.."

Declan grit his teeth then and let out a low growl in the back of his throat, a kind of growl no mere human was capable of. "Gwen had the fucking nerve to ask me if I was the one who murdered the Mayor. Like, seriously? How could sh-.." His voice drifted off, then. Thoughts raced through his mind after that, unable to say anything else at that point. He wanted to cry, again. Not because he was sad, though he was, he would have cried out in anger. It was something Declan was good at.
@NalloreI'll be posting today ^^

If you can't post by tomorrow morning when I wake up. I'll be posting soon after I do. I have a dentist appointment to pull some wisdom teeth at noon and must get a post in before that or I'm gonna be posting some weird shit lol

Sorry @Nallore. Been expecting Damo to post the last couple days but I'm sure he's super busy.
Taylor

Taylor smirked at Olivia and shook her head, tapping Sadie behind the ear to tell her to follow. Sadie did just so, staying on Taylor's heels as she walked with Josh into Olivia's home. It was huge. Something Taylor would most likely never own in her lifetime. As she stepped inside and passed Oli, she gave her a nurse with her shoulder. "Hey, your best friend text me. Says she misses you." She laughed, knowing all too well how much her and Finley loved each other. She never quite got why, though.

She received another text, then. A group text. Finley, Declan and herself. Wait.. Finley and Declan were together earlier... Maybe.. he was still with her? Taylor typed out a quick reply.

Hey, Dick still with you?

Declan

Declan let out a deep sigh to Miranda's suggestion that he'd have to shift into his human form. Part of him didn't really want to shift back. To have to re explain what happened earlier, right now, just wasn't something he wanted to do. Regardless, Declan knew he'd have to. Slowly, he dropped his jeans from his mouth and saw his phone come crumbling out of his pocket, hearing it vibrate. It was a call, and he recognised the ringtone. Jenna, his girlfriend. He whined a few times as he forced himself into the change. He'd miss the call, but he could call her back no problem.

It took a few long, agonizing minutes before he was able to switch back to his human form. He didn't even flinch at the fact he was barely naked before Miranda, she had seen it before. There was no rush in getting his jeans on, he immediately grabbed his phone and dialed Jenna's number. His phone screen may have been broken and useless, but when you knew someone's number by heart, it didn't really matter, did it?

The phone seemed to ring forever. Finally, she picked up. Or so he thought. A young man's voice answered on the other end. Declan sat silently with confusion. Jenna didn't have a brother. Who the f-.

"Um, where's Jenna? Can I talk to h-" the guy cut him off mid-sentence.

"Dude, this is pathetic. She's with me now. She called you to let you go. Even left a voicemail. Grow a pair and grow up, bud. She doesn't want you anymore." Declan could hear her talking in hushed whispers in the back, causing Declan's chest to tighten. Whether in heartache or anger, he wasnt sure.

"How long." Declan demanded. It came out in almost a snarl. The hairs on the back of his neck stood on end.

This time, it was her. Sounding almost remorseful. "Goodbye Declan. Please don't text or call me, anymore." Click!

Declan stood there with the phone still against his ear for a few silent moments, wanting to throw the thing as hard as he could against the wall. He had to remind himself he was in Miranda's home, and settled for simply crushing the phone right in his hand.

"I uh- heh." Declan let out an emotionless laugh. He didn't even know what to say at this point. "I've really missed you lately. I'm sorry for being MIA.. Just been dealing with a lot of bullshit." Declan remained with his back to Miranda, now slightly embarrassed he was still naked. He wasn't only stripped emotionally, but.. entirely. "Can you, uh-" He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly and looked over his shoulder at her. "Can you bring me my pants, please, Mir?"
@Damo021 Thanks, Damo.

I'll be posting soon, too. Took a nap. Had a busy ass day >~<

EDIT: I'll fix it tomorrow. Had to post from my phone. Laptop is having issues.
I'll get my post in sometime today regardless of Damo can or not. I'll post with Taylor and maybe my other werewolf character and leave Declan for next post in a few days when I can include him. Would have done it last night but I had to be in bed early to take my grandma to dialysis early this morning.

Taylor smirked at the text she'd sent Finley, shaking her head as she typed out another quick text to follow the last.

By the way, had you found anything interesting on your witchhunt for clues? xD

"I feel ya, Tay. Red Lake's in some shit, and I'm not sure we can really do shit about it. Not unless your willing to risk your own life. I'm not sure what comes next."

She quickly pocketed her phone again and looked up to meet Liv's gaze as Joey responded to what she'd said prior. Taylor bit the inside of her lip firmly. If it meant her friends were safe, she'd buck up the courage to risk her own life. She heard Liv call out to them, and almost asked 'What?', but then realized she'd actually heard what she had said. Did they wanna come in? Taylor shook her head and laughed, calling out, "Nah, we came all this way just to hang out on your lawn, Oli." she smirked and looked back at Josh. "Come on, before she has a stroke." Taylor laughed and began making her way across the lawn to Sadie to try and collect her crazy dog before heading inside.

Declan lay there patiently waiting, knowing she'd come home eventually. He wouldn't have minded if he had to have waited all night, he would have still been there. In the middle of thinking about finding a safe area to shift back to his human state to call her, he could hear her car coming up the road. His tail began to sway back and forth but he stayed where he was, hoping to get her with a surprise greeting, or maybe just see if she'd come looking for him. He watched her carefully from the side of the house as she pulled up into the driveway and parked, shutting the car off. Listening carefully, he could hear her phone vibrate as well as her unclipping her seatbelt just before she got out of her vehicle. Had he been in his human form, he would have whispered her name just loud enough for her to hear as he watched her walk up to her front door, but instead, it just came out as a low, wolfy huff.

He sat there for a moment after she walked inside, listening to her go through her house, following the noises from the side until it led him to the back of the house, which he silently slumped down and waited for her. He could hear her unlock the back door and step out into the fading light, smiling a wolfish grin. She looked around, most likely to look to check if the coast was clear. He didn't particularly care if anyone saw her "housing a wolf". Like, really? Would anyone care that much? It's not like they'd put two and two together, cause they wouldn't be watching the house the entire time. A wolf walks in and a shirtless teenage boy walks out hours later. Nah. He'd be fine. But he knew Miranda always wanted to make sure, just in case. He'd explained to her what would happen to him if the wrong people found out.

“Quick hun, it’s clear”

Declan quickly got up, still semi-crouched, and hurried along the back of the house and on inside. He curved around once out of sight from the doorway, sitting next to her and pushed his great big head against her hip, rubbing against her with his ears back and tail tucked to the side. It was weird to think it, but this felt more like home than his house or even his cousin's place did. He huffed softly and stayed there with his head against her, slowly peeking up at her with soft eyes. Even as a wolf, you could tell in his eyes that he wasn't in the best mindset, and had had a shit day.
Had a family emergency coming up. Ill post as soon as I get home tonight, I promise. Ill do it while Davina takes a nap later when we're home
