Kuroda Jōichirō ( 黒田 城一郎 )

UGHHH fine.....

@Kurisa@Tsukai@sassy1085

Jōichirō rolled his eyes. It was clear that Matsuo was trying really hard to scare them. Seriously. They are fresh out of the academy. If they were at war and were sent into battle, they would likely be the first to die anyways. Why not have some fun while they can? In fact, with his father in his seat as the Hokage, he can't imagine too much harm or threat would dare enter the village...

In any case, Jōichirō was ready to let it go and revert his focus back onto the mission when Tsukai had to basically challenge him. Or at least thats what it sounded like. "I-..." Jōichirō started to speak, thinking up rebukes for Tsukai. "Nevermind." He said, deeming it not worth his time to even offer his rebuttal. Tsukai isn't exactly wrong. There isn't a competition between the two of them. Yet. But, there isn't a need for a competition with the other team anyways. They were all in the same village. In a wartime scenario, they would be fighting under the same banner, and hopefully for the same cause...

"We don't have to act like adults. We can act like ourselves. As long as the mission gets completed, everyone goes home happy..." He said to Mai. "And to be fair, I doubt there would be any major rewards for a mission like this. Probably just a meal the farmer would treat us to is all, unless Matsuo-San wants to sweeten the deal at all later..."

His face twitched slightly. Mai mentioned that he should know these things since he was the son of the Hokage. "Just because he is my father, does not mean he tells me everything... In fact, when he gets home from work, we don't even really talk..." He said, in a spiteful tone. "Whatever, lets just get this stupid farm work over with..."

Elsewhere still.

Tap Tap Tap. TapTapTap. Tap Tap Tap
Here is my obligatory fack off.
@AbigailTenshiwhen they are installed correctly you mean.

@Saltwater Thief Nope you’re fine. I should have been more descriptive. Yes, it goes through the village into a small forest. So it will take some time to cover the distance.
Dude, don't worry about it~

We get into and out of moods. Its all good~
@AbigailTenshiWhen do you even make sense though?
Kuroda Tesshin

Let me just have some tea while they do this...

@Kurisa@Saltwater Thief@AbigailTenshi@FourthKing

"Ah, well, Shikkaru-Kun, thats a family secret my even my own son does not know." He let out a small chuckle. "If you stick around long enough you might just find out" He said in response to Shikkaru's question about the tea. He grows and cultivates his own tea, in fact, and mixes it with certain herb for their desirable tastes and effects. In fact, when he is not on a mission, he spends most of his time making tea and different herbal combinations.

"Thats good Kanzaki-Chan. If you ever have questions about proper sword maintenance, come and see me. You know, the katana was my favorite weapon when I used to use them." He let out another small chuckle. "I can see that you take pride and care in your sword, and I'm sure your master is proud."
"Keizo-Kun, keep up now. These guys are going to be your teammates for life now. The bond you create now will stay with you forever, or until one of you die that is." He smiled, a genuine but slightly sinister smile. "So, please stay with your group and work together during this trai- Uh- I mean mission. A very important mission indeed."

Still moving at a brisk pace, he has led his team out to the courtyard now. The valley and its surrounding area is in full view of himself and the team. The Hokage Rock, specifically, stood out as a testament of power and will of the village.

"Ah Yarin-Chan, you can relax. I can tell you're nervous. I'm not as malicious as I seem." He said in a goofy tone. "Even though you were late, and it seems to me you took time to take care of your Sakura colored hair, there would be no punishment this time. Though, your score on the mission may be docked depending on your performance." He said in a soft tone. In truth, he had no desire to reprimand the girl Though he still wanted her to know that regardless of the circumstances, when a mission is about to start, time is of the essence and being on time is as important as life or death.

"Now, as we are outside, we can start the mission..."

Taking out a kunai that had a customer hand wrap, he motioned for the group to take a few steps away from him. "Now, give me some space... Alright, lets see here..." He looked around, imbuing the kunai with a bit of lightning chakra as he did. "Ok, got it." He saw the location he wanted, reared back and throw the kunai as hard and as far as he could. With his strength and the lightning chakra, the kunai took off flying, easily several hundreds of meters and drilled into a tall cliff side. The cliff side he picked was most likely the steepest one in the whole village. Physically scaling it would be quite impossible. Combined with the height of where the kunai had landed, circling around and reaching it from the top would be unwise as well.

"Now, your mission is to get me my kunai back. Matter of fact, the one to pull it out of the cliff can keep it. Work together, stay together, and come back together. There will be surprises for you along the way, so be ready. Now go. We haven't got all day." The ending of the sentence was said in the most serious tone he had shown since the kids have met him. He pulled out his flask, took a sip and waited for the kids to be off.
One. Eternity. Later.
Don't worry~

They're totally harmless ^__^

Tsk.

@Kurisa@Tsukai@sassy1085

Jōichirō's face remained stern, no matter what face the Uchiha gave him. As if a little stare down would phase him. "That Uchiha bastard..." Jōichirō thought as Tsukai beat him to leaping out of the window after their team leader. No matter, he should be able to catch up in no time, having spent a good deal of time on the rooftops running about.

"Sure, let's catch up to them." Kuroda said, in a normal tone, devoid of excess excitement or emotion.

Jōichirō ran after, and caught up with the group. The mission, true be told, did not pass his mind. Regardless, they're just Genin. What were they going to do? Some simple reconnaissance ? Help someone with some mundane tasks? Tsk. All these questions about what the mission is going to be. What does it matter? They have a task, they have to complete it. Thats all. Difficulty should only be a second thought, perhaps even third or fourth.

A devious idea sprouted in his mind.

When he caught up with the group, he got close to Tsukai. Perhaps a bit too close for comfort. But that is exactly where he had intended to be. When they would inevitably begin to move, Jōichirō would stick out his feet ever so slightly in front of the eager Tsukai in an effort to trip him.

Meanwhile, elsewhere, observing

Well here we go....

Jōichirō waited his turn and listed to his father make the short speech about the world of the Shinobi. A world perhaps he knows more than his peers. His mother did not have too many stories to tell him about his father in his youth. What she did tell him was the graphic details of how his father was treated while taken as a prisoner in a foreign land. His father made sure she told him, and her objections fell on deaf ears.

The world of Shinobi, if someone was to ask Jōichirō, would sound like a place where friendships often end too soon, allegiances change in a heartbeat and deaths were as common and numerous as there are ants in the fields. If caught by a rival village, one is as good as dead to those they loved and those who love them back. One can even say it might be in their best interest to not have friends or get into anything too serious in terms of relationships...

Jōichirō was stuck in a small daydream while his father was handing out the forehead protectors. When it was his turn, he jolted very slightly, and accepted the item from his father without much of a bow or any actions showing gratitude. After all, he has been playing with the same protector that belonged to his father ever since he could lift it by himself.

As his father did a small roll call for those who would be in his squad, Jōichirō felt something. He didn't know if it was relief, annoyance, or what, that he did not end up in his father's squad. Oh well. He sees this man enough anyways... The Jonin his father had chosen to lead the squad he would be in arrived soon after. Hisaki Matsuo. Can't say he is surprise to see that his father chose him to lead the other squad. He did not know much about the man, other than the fact that he is definitely capable. " Hello Matsuo-San..." He said in a slightly shaky, but confidence voice. He glanced at the Uchiha kid. There was no way in hell he was going to let him show him up, in any way. Mentally and physically, he readied himself for whatever mission he was about to undertake with his new squad, that happened to contain presumed heirs to two of the most ancient families in Konoha...

Perhaps it was that Uchiha - Senju rivalry that has been in his blood for hundreds of years...

Kuroda Tesshin

Let's roll.

Taking in the drink orders of the two Genin, Tesshin filled two half-sized field canteens. One with tea that was flavored with a little honey and contained herbs like ginseng and mint, and the other with some clean spring water and handed them to the two that had asked for them.

The quiet one was still quiet.

Nodding slightly, he looked to Hisaki "Oi, young man. Here." He nonchalantly flipped him a scroll. But, the force behind it could be felt as a slight breeze. "Thats for you and yours. Enjoy~" His voice trailed off at the 'y' . "Now, for us. Kanzaki-Chan, I hope your good with your swords. Keep them near by, you might need them. The rest of you, stay frosty. We're in the real world now. No instructor will come by and stop the class if you're hurt. No time-outs. No take-backs. Keizo-Kun, when we come back, ramen is on me. We need to have a talk. Shikkaru-Kun, I look forward to seeing your shadow techniques in action." With a small smile, he continued, "Alright Team.... Team.... Ahhh I don't have a team name. For now, its Team One. A gold star for the one that comes up with a name we all like. Anyways, Lets move out. We've got a mission to do..."

With that, Tesshin headed out of his office, moving briskly into the waiting room. Spotting another graduate. "Ah. Yarin-Chan. I was wondering where you were. Come, we're leaving for a mission." Flicking his left wrist, another headband seemingly appeared in his hand out of thin air. The truth is, he had a wire attached to it, and pulled it to himself with it as he stepped out of the office. A subliminal move, but one that he pulled off with flawless execution. Handing the headband to the late Genin, he continued to move briskly out of the building.
