Albretch Dwight
"Zanahor'ya," The girl responded with a sigh.
Albretch was struck by confusion, unsure to why the girl appeared so suddenly displeased. However, still remaining at a state of disbelief towards Zanahor'ya's aggressive propositon.
Did I do something wrong? She was grinning only moments ago... Could I have been too stern?Albretch didn't intend to upset his new-found acquaintance. He figured a change of body language could help to improve what she had previously perceived of him. Forming his lips into a gentle smile, hoping she'd realise he wasn't so stone-faced after all. Albretch then pursued by drifting a hand to his chest, facing the palm inwards. He was about to attempt complimenting Zana's name to improve her mood. Although, he was sorely interrupted as she resumed talking.
"Jeez, you're no fun. I hope everyone here isn't as stiff as you." Zanahor'ya continued whilst vaguely lowering her weapon.
Luckily for Zana, Albretch is distinctively thick-skinned. It would take a thousand more impudent remarks to even scratch his surface. Besides, he was more puzzled than anything else. His smile quickly straightened as he shifted his eyes between a few onlooking students, all of them demonstrating mixed reactions. Albretch presumed they overheard what Zana had said. The hand at his chest froze momentarily until falling to his side.
“Please don’t fight. For starters it’s a very small area and people will get caught in your damn ego measuring contest and two: no one wants to see two idiots fight.” Albretch heard a voice caution from nearby.
Albretch cast his eyes over a Faunus who'd been irritated by the whole scenario. He then returned to looking at the girl, unsuspecting to discover his last guess was indeed correct.
Did she seriously want to fight me? In an airship of all places. Beacon Academy usually selects their students wisely, but this girl? This Zana, appears to have a few too many screws loose. “Now would you kindly let me sit here in peace without hearing you two bicker over such trivial matters.” The Faunus continued.
Albretch only heeded a small fraction of the Faunus's dialogue, his attention spanning elsewhere once told Zana intended to fight him. She took a few steps back from Albretch. He hoped she was going to disappear into the crowd, leaving him be; at least not to come into contact with him again sooner than later. However, a gunshot reverberated through his ears. Albretch's aura manifested instantaneously to shield the oncoming bullet, eyes closing as an induced reflex.
He reopening his eyes, crossing his arms in disapproval towards Zana. Albretch could of easily reproached her, instead he anticipated she'd back off. Either that, or someone else would have a keen opinion to address.
