|Male|23|Faunus/Wolf|White Fang|Born In Vacuo|
Onyx is a tall Faunus, standing roughly at 186 centimetres. Even through his height, he shows great flexibility, weighing in at only 69 kilos. His body type has mesomorphic traits-being light and muscular, convenient for manoeuvrability and climbing.
He has a bronze pigmentation with identical runes tattooed on either arm. The tattoos are wrist to shoulder length-and vise versa, followed by a White Fang emblem that covers a large area of his upper back and measures across to his shoulder blades.
Among his chiselled features, He bares distinct byzantium eyes that glimmer in direct sunlight. When he is not hooded, a head of velvety charcoal hair is seen cascading outwards, ending at his collar bone.
Onyx's discreet personality goes in tune with his unrevealing dress sense, preferring to wear cloaks that allow him to stay anonymous in times that are best suited. Due to growing up in Vacuo, Onyx chooses to wear his draping cloaks even in the warmest of Vale's weather, sometimes making people wonder why he isn't boiling hot under such thick clothing. In terms of the lower proportion of his body, Onyx wears a pair of leather sandals matched with harem style trousers, the bottoms of which are held up with silk gauze wrap to expose his ankles. Such attire allows him to maneuver with ease, resenting any clothing that is too tight and restraining.

Teleportation: Identical to Nightcrawler's ability from X-Men. However, after a specified number of uses, the affiliated user becomes fatigued-making them less useful in combat; as well as a higher vulnerability to lethal damage. The affiliated user can also transport others with this ability. However, doing so doubles the consumption of aura.
Just a rough aspect of the teleportation ability in relation to a user's Aura
[Aura = 100]
[Teleportation = 10]
[Teleportation of others = 20]
[Aura restoration rate = 5 per minute]
The Shadow-Banes
The Shadow-Banes are two, twin, melee weapons that are capable of inflicting large amounts of damage. The lower blade is designed specifically for parrying opposing weapons. Onyx uses parrying as a quick getaway. His ability over teleportation allows him to find a safer position to counterattack from-in the blink of an eye. This is useful against enemies that could have a negative affect at close proximity.

The Back-up
Onyx wields a 'Back-Up' on both wrists; used for both stealth assassinations and open melee combat. It consists of a blade which can be discreetly extended or retracted from a mechanism; worn on the user's wrist by thrusting it, utilised in conjunction with a protective bracer.
The 'Back-Up' on his left wrist has the ability to fire an anchor rope. The blade expands to the shape of an anchor rope hook, allowing a convenient way to grapple onto(or over) obstructions. The blade can also be fired into materials softer than stone. Once at a reasonable depth(or grappled securely), the blade expands to a hook shape. This creates a firm hold whilst the self-insulating rope pulls Onyx towards or over his obstacle.
Stingers
Named through the similarities of shape to an insect's stinger. The 'Stings' have close similarities to throwing daggers, the way in which the user can make sudden ranged attacks without the need to reload. A 'Sting' entails the ability to lodge into a target, giving seconds before executing a moderate sized explosion. On the other hand, due to their shape and size, Onyx only chooses to store six stings on him at any given time. Granted that he has access to his personal armoury.

At first encounter, Onyx tends to come across as stern and reserved-especially towards Humans. It requires hefty patience to earn Onyx's trust outside of 'The White Fang'. The world is a dangerous and dishonest place after all, for both Humans and Faunus. Onyx has been accustomed with this ideology years before his coming of age, making him vigilant towards anyone shy of his trust; gaining few friends due to this perception. Although, he has always been content with the outcomes relating to such.|
Onyx's regards towards being solely independent saves him many self-proclaimed inconveniences. As well as his sense of humour, which is consequently sarcastic towards his new acquaintances. Onyx purposely avoids revealing his private life, helping him to maintain emotionally unattached to people with uncertain motives.
However, In the face of his peers, Onyx doesn't shy away from a challenge. This is due to his assured inner regard, fuelled by hardened tasks given to him by 'The White Fang'. He admires courage, loyalty and discipline; anyone imperceptible to such is portrayed as inadequate for his time and patience.
Towards familiar faces, Onyx is still fairly reserved. Although, he comes across as sympathetic, courageous, and trustworthy. There's little he wouldn't do to help out a considered ally-especially an associate of 'The White Fang'.
Onyx is conscientious towards his duties as a member of 'The White Fang', showing great ambition to uphold it's reputation and strength.

After the 'Great War', Onyx moved to Menagerie with his Mother and Father. Onyx's Father immediately continued his mentoring as they settled into their new home. He taught his son to become a skilled fighter, taking measures to ensure Onyx would stand ready against the hostile forces within Remnant. Witnessing relatives fall to both sword and Grimm, drove Onyx's Father to engage every day with hefty amounts of training. This made Onyx a perilous warrior, rather than an affectionate son. Although, Onyx knew the countermeasures to be made in such precarious times.
At one point in time, it became apparent to Onyx's Father that Humans were adamant about having all Faunus live solely in Menagerie, causing an uproar within the Faunus communities. The Humans countermanded the rights the Faunus earned in their participation in the Great War. This sparked hostilities that soon began the Faunus War. Onyx's Father knew full well of the sacrifice his relatives gave for the sake of Remnant; only for Faunus to be treated as inferior. This made him eager to join the ranks of his brethren.
Onyx was forced to stay in Menagerie whilst his Father was off fighting for all Faunus across remnant. The war was a sluggish and bloodied one at that. And as if a curse had been cast on the Ebony bloodline through the conflicts of war, Onyx's Father failed to return from the crusade for Faunus equality.
Onyx had felt no gain to the loss of his Father's life. It certainly didn't help that the Human kingdoms soon made Menagerie into one large 'labor' camp for the Faunus. Onyx was forced to evade with his life, leaving behind his Mother in the process. He escaped to join the White Fang organisation, which was set up and intended to serve as a prospective "symbol of war between Humans and the Faunus". However, the Humans continued to sustain the consecutive conflict against the Faunus. Enraged by the scenario, Onyx swore to finish what his Father had hoped to achieve, prevailing many feats during the strategy displayed by the Fauna.
The White Fang (as well as the rest of Remnant), began to feel the growing strength of Grimm. Once the Fauna and Humans came to a neutral term, Onyx decided to revisit his Mother at Menagerie. Not long after arriving at Menagerie, Onyx heard rumours that Mantle had been overrun by the Grimm.
Thus, a rallying call has been sounded. Any able-bodied persons capable of fighting are to meet in Fort Beacon, for immediate assignment into units. It could not come at a more opportune time- The Grimm are nearly at Vale's gates. And just like that, the Ebony's had been called to fight once again.

The Ebony lineage is a voracious bloodline, particularly carried by the males, whose eyes are a distinct byzantium colour. The son's, more than commonly, inherited an identical semblance, passed down from the father's concentrated gene pool. The semblance gave the user the ability of teleportation, disappearing inside of a thinning black smoke, only to re-appear again in another thought-out location.
It is family tradition for the Father's to teach their sons the ways of their semblance, along with the agility required to preform effectively. They followed the practises passed down from Father to Son, which focuses on self-defence, Parkour, tactical analysis, and control over aura. Furthermore, the teachings of their world around them, particularly the Grimm.
Once an Ebony is trained to a recommended level of skill, he ventures accompanied by others in his bloodline to different parts of Vacuo. There they'll combat the forces of Grimm, or attended to the needs of the villages. Whether it be ruthless villains, or blood-thirsty bandits. Their semblances gave them the power to protect the most vulnerable against such threats.
The Ebony's made their homes within a close proximity of one another. They understood the world was a rough place, and that family is paramount above all else. Briefly trusting anyone outside of their family circle, The 'Ebony' lineage swore to protect their own in times of great peril. However, times of war, and the recent germinating Grimm put pressure on the surrounding land. The people of Vacuo needed them, and they would do what is necessary to protect their own from the impending danger.
The Ebony lineage in Vacuo dates back before the time of the 'Great War'. A time where their land was abundant with resources; the largest Dust deposit ever recorded in Remnant's history. These favourable conditions allowed the people of Vacuo to flourish. However, Vacuo was an easy target for exploitation by other Kingdoms, who wished to claim their vast resources for themselves. The Ebony lineage witnessed brutality after brutality; eventually baring arms against the acts of cruelty. Years of warfare, mining and ecological disasters exhausted Vacuo's resources, and transformed the once rich Kingdom into a wasteland of heavy industry and makeshift settlements. The Ebony's endeavoured to help as many people as they could, though scarce resources and frequent attacks from Grimm put them under great pressure. Many people were lost in the conflict, forcing them to move from place to place. The people of Vacuo eventually succumbed to a near crushing defeat. Mantle and Mistral establishing a presence in Vacuo. Many Ebony's lost their lives in the affrays that changed the face of the kingdom.
Not long after a massive ten-year conflict known as the Great War began. For a time, Vacuo remained neutral, due to Mantle and Mistral having established a presence in their territory in the years prior, leaving Vale to fend for itself. After a while, Mistral and Mantle attempted to pressure Vacuo into fighting alongside them. Although, Vacuo came to realise if Vale was defeated, there would be no one left to stop the other two kingdoms from conquering them. The Ebony's partook in the fighting to push the other two kingdoms' presence out of the territory. Vacuo eventually allied themselves with Vale.
During the war, Grimm attacks increased worldwide, and as a result, Vacuo lost many of its settlements to the creatures, some of which were never reclaimed.
The Great War finally came to an end with the deadliest battle in the war's history. Mistral and Mantle attempted to take Vacuo's Dust mines to cut off Vale and Vacuo's supply. Vacuo's army fought alongside Vale's, with the help of the remaining Ebony bloodline, who is said to have laid waste to countless men. Although, there was only one Ebony who had survived the battle. This included his son named Onyx, who resided back at home, still with many years of training ahead of him. He would need it for the path awaiting him to follow.
With the war over, efforts were made for everyone worldwide to reach compromise, in hopes that the Kingdoms would never go to war again. One of these efforts involved giving Faunus equal rights and ownership of Menagerie. Soon after, The remaining Ebony's migrated to Menagerie. They mourned the lost the family had suffered from the 'Great War', but became content that the world had become a somewhat, less dangerous place.
Over time, it became apparent that Humans were adamant about having all Faunus live solely in Menagerie. Such a confinement would also jeopardise the rights earned by Faunus in the Great War. Many Faunus, including Onyx's Father, felt betrayed by the humans. The same people who'd fought by their side, now indicated a bitter repugnance. Onyx's Father retaliated alongside his fellow Faunus, sparking the Revolution which soon gave birth to the 'Faunus War'.
Although little information is available regarding the actual chronology of the war, the Battle of Fort Castle in the third year of the war is widely regarded as the turning point. The inexperienced leader of the Human forces, General Lagune, attempted to catch the enemy off-guard in a nocturnal attack. The Faunus were able to leverage their advantage of near-perfect night vision and soundly defeated the larger army. However, Onyx's Father was killed in the Battle of Fort Castle, leaving Onyx as the last remaining male of the Ebony lineage.
