Finally finished editing that transcript. At this point the only person I'm rooting for in this case is the judge.

Bio
I'm a 24 year old college student with a "tragic past" and a series of flunked schools and medical bills. Roleplaying has been my one escape from a harsh reality while growing up, and I really appreciate this site and everyone on it.
I've been on Roleplayer Guild for eight years, going on nine in a few months.
I started roleplaying at 13 on an Invader Zim fan site... I accept my shame and disgrace.
Hey all! I'm back from a busy couple of weeks in hell involving exams, gall bladder surgery(ouch, not mine though), and just general stress due to the fact that I am a completely incompetent adult. I need to step up my adulting game.
ANYWHO, you're not my therapist! You're here looking for plots! I got lots of plots, sinful plots, fluffy plots, plots of land, all kinds! But, before we can get into those, you need to pass the 9-headed hydra of requirements first!
- I only do PM. If you leave me a reply here, chances are I might not see it for a while and if you're super excited about RPing, you should shoot me a PM. I don't do forums, I don't do emails, and I especially don't do telegraphs, smoke signals, or ancient Sumerian pictographs. Get with the times, people.
- Be content with mature content. (ha, geddit?) If you have specific boundaries, tell me, and I will respect them. But right off the bat, I'm telling you that I do swear in my writings, there may be gore and bloodshed, and I don't fade to black when things get steamy. Other mature themes like drinking, drugs, taxes will appear depending on the context of the story.
- I am an advanced writer. Which sounds more impressive than it actually is. Really, I just write enough paragraphs and like enough development in my stories to be classified as one on whatever arbitrary ranking system we're using nowadays. I'm not gonna be finicky about your writing style or nitpick every little bit of grammar or spelling, god knows I've made enough of those mistakes to last a lifetime. However, there are some things I will require of you. (A) Use proper punctuation. For the love of all that is good upon this earth, use commas! They have not fallen out of fashion, they are here to help organize your sentences and get your life together! (B) Please write ONLY in third person past tense. An example of this would be "Jane caught the ball, and then hurled it as hard as she could at Dick, hitting him where the sun don't shine." Any self-insert or first person writing will result in an immediate awkward breakup text. (C) Paragraphs are really not that hard to manage. I like seeing people put effort into their writing. I know that the RP can hit some slow lulls at time, particularly when dialogue is involved, but I'm going to have to require a 2 paragraph minimum per post. (D) You will have to come up with a short, coherent character sheet for your character. I don't care what picture you use, anime or model or whatever, and I don't care if your character bio is 10 paragraphs long or non-existent. I'm gonna need a character sheet. (E) With characters in mind, I will ask very nicely: Please, no Mary-Sues. No over-powered omniscient characters, no insane girls who express themselves solely through wrist slitting and Evanescence, no teenaged edge lords who make women quiver when they walk by. It's one thing to have your character think they're perfect, and another to actually be perfect. And perfect is boring.
- I am looking for someone over the age of 18 to RP with, hopefully with one post a day or more. I have pairings that work for MxF, MxM, and FxF. I tend to play M, simply because I like to play male characters, but I can switch or double if need be.I can even triple or quadruple main characters. I'm like a character juggler man, watch me throw these OC's into the air and I dropped them... Crud.
- In case you haven't noticed, I'm a chatty (pun intended if you get it) person and I love OOC talk. Bouncing around ideas for the story is how I live. My small talks and my plots are a package deal. If you hate talking to people, we simply won't be a good match. I like to talk about my day, find common interests, and share stupid gifs of cats. Deal with it.
- Aw shit, we're at head six of my nine-headed requirements Hydra and I'm already running out of stuff. Uh, okay, this one will be to weed out the people who didn't read the requirements. I'll even put it in garish pink so you don't skim past it or forget. Introduce yourself and tell me the continent you live on, and what your favorite food is when you PM me. I won't respond to you unless you do this, please do not forget! The continent you live on, and your favorite food! And for those of you who live in underwater mermaid kingdoms, you suck, do not apply. #MakeAmericaMermaidFreeAgain
- If you have any ideas or plots that you are dying to role-play, tell me! I'll always listen and try to work something out! I usually don't do fandoms, but I can make exceptions if we're only using it as a setting and not playing as or referencing any major or minor canon characters.
- My timezone is Pacific Standard time, or for those oppressed masses who don't live in AMERICA, -0800.
- I don't have a ninth requirement, I'm just putting this here as a testament to my severe lack of foresight and overestimating how many rules I would need.
Whew, that was a journey! Okay, now that you've made it through those trials and tribulations, lets get on to the plots!
Plots
'n stuff
Character A's best friend has been trying to hook them up with another unknown friend, Character B. A and B have never met, and don't know what the other looks like, but A gives in and they begin texting. Despite hitting it off really well, A and B are still shy about meeting and seeing the other's face. Meanwhile, A finds themselves distracted by a cute new delivery boy next to their work. Can these two shy, awkward people turn their text-based romance into a real one?
Character A is the heir to a small, wealthy country, having grown up in luxury their whole life. Quite suddenly, their life becomes threatened when they piss off a separatist group. Their parents, fearing for their safety, hire a team of new bodyguards to accompany them wherever they go. Including a young, good-looking, bright bodyguard who doesn't seem perturbed by the heir's attitude. They know better than to get involved personally with one another. They do it anyways. (Note, this one could be done in a fantasy or modern setting. Honestly modern appeals to me more because shopping malls and limo sex, why not?) Sorry! This slots for this plot have been filled. Maybe another one will interest you?
Character A and B have known each other since they were in their diapers. They've hated each other ever since. From pulling hair on the playground to immature pranks and name calling, the two have competed in everything they've done. And now, in high school that changes when Character A's parents go away for the summer, leaving A in the care of their neighbors and good friends... B's parents. Now sharing the same house for the summer and forced to play nice while the adults are around, can their hatred for each other survive? Or will circumstance change it into something else?
Character A and B are childhood friends who have decided to be roommates now that they've finished school. While unpacking their old toys to give away, A comes across the dollhouse they used to play house with. Reminiscing, they decide to play house one more time. But innocent play and friendship boundaries become confused when B gives A a passionate kiss. Quickly realizing what they've done, B apologizes and things become awkward as A tries to figure out what the kiss meant... And why they liked it so much.
Character A and B are both team leaders at a summer camp, who are very highly competitive. Good looks and thinly veiled mutual attraction aside, both hate to lose, and neither one is willing to give up the prize of pride from winning the camp games in five weeks. From tug of war to strip poker, how far will these two go to win? And in games of love and war, does anyone really lose?
Character A is a masked vigilante tired of rampant corruption in their local governing body (Crooked cops/diabolical corporation/corrupt mayor/really really mean principal?), and decide to take them on by breaking into their offices and stealing proof of their wicked deeds to show to the world. Trouble is, there's already someone else there with the same idea. After repeatedly bumping into each other burglarizing the same locations, the two strike up a tentative alliance, to better clean up crime.
Characters A and B have been the best of friends for as long as they can remember. They have sleep overs together, study together, go to school dances and parties together. Everyone thinks their dating, and after they both have awkward eye-opening conversations with other friends, they begin to wonder if they are too. It would certainly explain why they've never gotten a successful date with anyone else. With the encouragement of their friends, the two awkwardly try to strike up a new relationship with each other. Just to try it out, right? We can always go back to the way thing were before, right?
Character A has just moved into a new apartment in what used to be an old hotel. The rent is cheap, rooms are adequate, and the neighbors are friendly. All of course, except the mysterious tenant who lives in room 303. Their blinds are always shut, strange noises emit from their apartment long into the night, and they never see them leave. One day, however, a package is delivered to A's door and not to B's. It looks heavy and important, and when they go to return it, the door is unlocked. With a turn of the handle, A stumbles into a secret bigger than anything they ever thought. B is a vampire. An actual, blood-sucking, burns in the daylight vampire. But there are also miscommunications. 1) B isn't hundreds of years old. They explain that they were turned in 1986 on their spring break in Florida. 2) B doesn't hunt people, they instead work as a nurse in a local hospital, where they are in charge of the discarded blood. And 3) B is really, really tired of being a vampire, and has been trying to reverse their condition while hiding who they are. Despite not knowing a thing about it, A decides to help their cynical, depressed, undead neighbor. And just like that, an unlikely friendship begins. Sorry! The slots for this RP have been filled. Maybe another one will interest you?
There have always been people with powers in the world. Everyone knows it, it's just a fact of life. Some people have them, some people don't, and who does and what they are is entirely random. Most of them are nothing too big, the ability to make bubbles come out of their ears, to turn strawberries different colors, to change the color of your hair, to rainbows when you smile. But, every now and again, not often, only 1 in 10,000 births, a child is born with abilities most would deem dangerous. The ability to breathe fire. To create poison gas. To freeze whatever they touch. These children are registered with the government as soon as their powers begin to show, just to keep an eye on them. This isn't a dystopia, of course, they won't be forcefully removed from their families or killed unless they caused a very serious incident. Which isn't unheard of. But the societal stigma these children face is enormous. Every parent wants to love their child, but some don't feel comfortable raising one that could accidentally kill them during a tantrum. Very few want to be friends with someone who could burn down their school with their mind. However, there are always good souls who want to help these kids of all ages come to terms with their abilities. Which was why Ophelia's Club, a group therapy organization dedicated to helping kids and teens with extreme powers make friends, control their emotions, and find their place in the world.
Characters A and B are a part of Ophelia's club, and while A has been there since they were ten, B is a new arrival. Initially, the two do not get along at all, constantly fighting, bickering, and insulting one another. But gradually, as the two spend more time together, they find out they have more in common than they think.
I've been better. But, my mother's surgery was successful, and I only have two more weeks of summer classes. I should be back to my normal dictatorship-GMing in a few days.
Hey all, sorry for the long absence, but a bunch of things have cropped up in my life. My mother is having emergency gall bladder surgery so I'm putting the RP on hold for a week. Between my mom and moving into a new place, I have my hands full right now. Thank you all for your understanding!
Okay, everybody. I've been promoted at work and I'm running a large FB group for Pokemon GO in my city. I'd like to push pause on this story for a few weeks. Let's plan on resuming at the beginning of August.
Rechonq has permission to post before then, as he is currently the last of us to have posted recently. Aside from that, I'd like if everyone else waited till the first of August. I should have my life all sorted out by then! hahaha!
Congrats on your promotion! And good luck catching them all!
Right now we're waiting on @onenote or @Leslie Hall to post. Don't fret, I's okay if things are slow. It is summer after all, and most people I know are busy with the new Pokemon Go. Instinct or Extinct.
Sorry for not posting! I've been busy all weekend and now I have relatives who have come to town to visit. Needless to say my 2 week break from work hasn't yielded as much free time as I'd hoped.
No worries about it, Leslie! I too have been pressed for time. I have my test corrections coming up and I've been busy with those. Figures I have to spend the summer taking the most commonly failed math class in the entire pacific north west. It's not that it's taught by bad people or anything, it's just- The math is really hard, and you think you're doing great, then surprise! You got a C- on your exam. At least with test corrections I'll get a B+.
