Still poking around the water for potential can and can't do, so would a Guardian Spirit be okay in a master sheet? They wouldn't be able to easily manifest themselves (even for short periods) into material form, they'd just serve as a spiritual medium for my Master to base his magecraft around.

This came from me planning on making an Eastern magus who focuses more on the spiritual side as they do. Just wanted to toss the idea forward and getting your thoughts before digging into it~

By centering himself and his focus, it can result in a rank up to both ( Strength ) and ( Endurance ) as one of the techniques that he has learned. Bringing about a natural and controlled way of breathing and movement from Assassin that produces nothing wasted.

With neither any enmity or bloodlust being radiated from him until battle begins, with his training as a martial artist allows him to collect himself. When discovered and confrontation is inevitable, he simply enters with a clear murderous intent that shows his determination.

Designed for him to forgo having a weapon in exchange for him having an easier chance at getting close to his target with the element of surprise. The fighting style aims for the efficiency in taking down a target with fatal if not debilitating attacks, focusing on vital weak points like the forehead, throat, heart and spine, with each strike launched with extreme precision and quick speed.

Focused on its odd and unique style makes it difficult for opponents to comprehend, its takes advantage of Assassin's strength which is his unique understanding of the senses that people have. Having an intrinsic quality of (Knowledge of Respect and Harmony) at (C Rank) inherent to Assassin's mastery of the style that allows it to defy the senses of his opponents. It prevents the opponents from fully being able to comprehend and see through Assassin's fighting style during encounters, combined with its orthodox nature makes it extremely effective.

The acquisition of such a skill was never on his mind, for calling himself as a contender for the title of "Old Man of the Mountain" would had just been a funny joke to him back in the day. In Assassin's case, rather than just adding or subtracting from their own bodies, they were born with a particular trait. Not particularly useful in its natural and raw state, Assassin was able to develop it into a fine and beautiful weapon in the duration of his life time.

Skilled in usage martial arts that separated him from the weaponry of his other peers, for was it wrong for himself to continuously improve for the good of the group? He trained himself daily with his peers, doing what was needed of him for each day in and out, rinsing and repeating. During one of his session of intense training, he came upon the ideal form of breathing and walking techniques for his martial arts that help improved himself, a solid foundation to build up further upon. While not in the realm of those who naturally possess the ability to replicate potent thaumaturgy, his training had affected him in the perfect way, bringing about a natural and controlled way of breathing and steps that produce no wasted movement. This Noble Phantasm can be activated both when Assassin is stationary and in motion, receiving its plus modifier when he is in a state of concentrated focus such as meditation.

I'll just keep Assassin without an identity then and have him start as a blank slate as is tradition for them. The skill itself will be inherent to him but I'll just attribute it to his name as one of the Hassan rather than who he was before.

Would Mind Eye - True at ( C Rank ) be fine then? Not at a rank that would be an affront to the raw talent of Heracles or full experience of Emiya, but suitable for an assassin who has the instincts developed from an experience of a lifetime. Nothing would come from the Noble Phantasm but work into the martial arts as background information.

Presence Concealment at A+ Rank would drop down to what rank then after the preparations to attack are made (so I have a reference)?

Presence concealment too high. King Hassan has normal A Rank. You're saying this Hassan has a better hiding skill than the OG. Further more PC drops much more drastically when activated than just a simple + or two down.

I don't mind knocking the Presence Concealment down to what the rest of the regular Hassans have which is A+ but with Breathing and Walking, I figured the skill would be able to mitigate the rank drop with the ability to more thoroughly suppress one's presence in that way. Looking at Sasaki Kojiro who has an inherent ability similar to that, I borrowed it and placed it with Breathing and Walking as my intent

Eye of Mind False is excessive. Eye of the Mind (False) B is Heracle's rank. Emiya Archer's rank of Mind's eye true is B. You have a better combative mind then a berserking demi-god, and a counter force agent?

Saying it like that, yeah in terms of ranking Assassin would be definitely inferior to both servants in terms of skill but I'd figure that the Noble Phantasm he would have would augment this ability to match their level. So, would you consider ( B Rank ) as acceptable, provided that the Noble Phantasm of his is active for full effectiveness or gets tossed to a rank down?

Art of the mind is somewhat lore breaking but it isn't something I would count against it entirely.

You don't have to answer this one but which part (or is it all of it) that is lore breaking/bending? I'd like to know so I don't mess it up in the future since I'm just a Type-Moon normie :P

I would honestly just pick a different canon assassin, or go back to the drawing board. Maybe its just that his initial skills are leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

Of course, that is to be expected when a Servant gets over-proportionally blown up in power (face palming in some regards and sometimes just embarrassing)! Its just that for making Original Servants, I have to make some assumptions that simply goes overboard sometimes with me so apologies again for the eye sore.

Okita Souji (in assassin form), or a debuffed Shuten-Douji (Bone Collector for example is a bit vague) would be my pick out of canon servants but others like Mitsuhide Akechi, or Spring Heeled Jack seem like good servants.

Okita Souji I wouldn't mind doing in Assassin form but would have nowhere to start (so I'd have to do some research) and Shuten-Douji I wouldn't mind doing as a Berserker. But hopefully the above resolutions aren't too difficult to come to a compromise, if it is the case then I'll pull these two that are on the back burner~

I'm interested in joining, but what spots are currently open? Had my thoughts on a OC Hassan with Meditative Serenity but I'll take whatever is open~ I like exercising my creative juices
