Half-Blood
A family coming from the ancient tradition of the Celtic druids, Dean's family are descendants of those people who keep to their close knitted community in Ireland. While they are a reclusive group, they are not inherently mean spirited but protective of the grounds that contains their culture and livelihoods. You could call them one of the few dying groups of wizards and witches due to the rise of the modern era forcing change upon them, with them being one of the public havens and home for the magical creatures in their woods.
For the studied individual, they are known to support the largest Extension and Reduction Charm that came first from the magical creatures living there and later supported by the wizarding community. Most would know this as "The Land of the Fairies" or to them as Tír na nÓg but the entrances through into this land is secretive to those who know and accidental to those wandering unaware of where they are. It is one of the few places to have the mysteries of the world shown at work, with two aspects being rarer as space and time are visibly affected by magic.

Ravenclaw
With traits to qualify for each house, he was unsure of which house he was to be placed in from the sorting hat as he approached to be categorized... A near hatstall as the hat took some time for deliberation as it considered where to place the boy before announcing 'Ravenclaw' finally.

A Cat
A silent yet temperamental cat that people know Vis to be as the Manx cat. It goes through its phases of being both friendly and menacing at times, exposing itself for belly scratches only to strike at that opportune moment when a person's guard is down. People who are cat folk get use to its behavior and learn when it has had enough attention to simply leave it alone for another time. Outside of the time it has lounging around the Ravenclaw's common room, for a little spice in his life, it often goes out on nightly prowls for vermin and other nightly critters.

Himself
The manifestation of Dean's fear comes in the form of a doppelganger of himself pointing out his flaws and the failures that came from them. As a person who spends a lot of time in his head and punishing himself, the Boggart intrinsically know these thoughts which can use against him since they are connected to the concept of what he is most afraid of, 'failure'. Like how a true person would run away from their problems, the Riddikulus charm is a ironically good way to deflect with humor and essentially make fun of himself against the Boggart.

Rosewood. Essence of Fairy. Twelve Inches. Sturdy
Some of the earliest wandmakers were druids who passed on their arts from the master to apprentice where both tradition and culture is ingrained into the making of the wand. They have been known to use a great variety of materials to make both the wood and core of their wands with what is around them to great ends. For each wand that is produced, is unique as the material used are never the same and can be customized ahead just in time for the new generation of young witches and wizards if there is ingredients to do so.
A very interesting combination of the Wand Wood coming from a Rosewood tree, known to be an elegant and graceful wood that has a pleasant fragrance that can last for years or longer in proper care. Combined with the core that makes this wand, is the essence of a fairy, which is more than just their wings but the entirety of them as their very being is magic. It is a very rare core even among the wizards and witches who use fairies as the cores for their own wand since very rarely would a fairy be in a situation to relinquish themselves unless in the final moments of their lives. Even their vanity transcends life so that they make sure their beauty could be preserved and allow themselves to be woven into the wand once they pass.
Together with the ingredients used for the wand, it is a highly temperamental wand due to the nature of the core and its affinity to the wand wood as well. The masterfully craftsmanship of the wand and the pleasant aroma around it seems make a beautiful combination of both core and wood. With the qualities of this wand being astounding in its ability to preforms charms and the jinxes of this wand are highly effective, higher classes of dark magic like hexes simply seem to just fail as if it goes against the wand's nature. Besides those two, the wand seems to merely preform average in the other type of magic with its light and airy nature.

Charms
Dean has always been interested with charms and easily came to understand most of what the class is doing right now. The period for him has essentially become a self-study period for him once he got Professor Alaric's permission which allowed him to review the material that he is working on is for next year. He currently is getting a head start for studying the materials that could possibly be in the N.E.W.T under the supervision of Professor Alaric to make sure everything is going fine.

Flying
Using a broom to travel? That's was the reaction that Dean gave on his first year with this class, since he was familiar with many other forms of traveling other than this. Whether it be the rare occasion of grabbing one of the tamed magical beasts for assistance or traveling through the groves that seemed to warp space, there was always a way to get where you needed to on Ireland without a broom. Its surprising he passed the test as even today he is a terrible one still after passing the class barely.

Study of Ancient Runes + Care of Magical Creatures + Dueling Club
The work that Dean has done within these two classes are exceptional with only a handful of the material being review for the teen. From someone of his upbringing, they know that he is being modest with how proficient he is the subject and with some discussion allowed him to move ahead.
As for the Dueling Club, which is Dean's only activity outside an official classroom, he only partakes on the sideline when watching how the duelist conduct themselves. Watching their movement and how they weave their spells in a dynamic form when a duel occurs between two individuals. From a theoretically stand point, he knows how to conduct himself if he ever got into a fight himself for whatever may happen

Being about the same as the average person of his age, Dean stands up around the height of 5'6 and weighs about about 140 pounds with his total stature. From all of his time outdoors, he has an athletic build that has been conditioned from working outside which leads up to his head. With an angular jaw that is starting to come in as more masculine features, he has a fairly simple haircut that is stylized to the side in his natural hair color of a brownish color. Other than that, Dean has no distinguishable marks or tattoos on him, at least from what they can see but perhaps he is quite the hipster for having
a tattoo of his culture on his back.
In general, it can be said that Dean is a guy who is pretty well-kept with his hygiene and clothing which mostly comes out of the good habit of being clean like any normal person does, it's just that he takes the extra 20 minutes to make sure everything is in place. It leaves him smelling something warm and sensual, almost like faint notes of cinnamon whenever he isn't covering it up or overpowering it with other products that he uses for body odor. It shouldn't be a surprise that with him being on top of his appearances, he has a respectable wardrobe that is tailored to different styles and trends of clothing which he freely changes from day to day depending on what the person in the mirror feels like wearing that day that works on him. From a preppy look can change into a workout outfit in a moments notice or swapping into some casual wear if he is feeling the mood for it. He has enough clothes to do whatever he wants, it the space that he needs to worry about. However, you rarely see him out of the uniform that Hogwarts assign unless it is for an special occasion that he is able to throw everything into it.

One could call Dean's personality as something 'malleable' that changes to suit the situation, while not necessarily a bad thing, it allows him to connect to many different kinds of people but true connection is rare unless he breaks out of his introverted shell. With his desire to please everyone is an admirable trait as some would say, others would say the opposite since he cannot dedicate his entirety into a single identity of who he is. Supported by his two faced nature, as seemingly quiet that Dean thinks himself to be, many of his closest friends call him out on being much more social than he perceives himself to be. To say the least, he is a floater that has many friends and groups of people that is able to hang out with, but rarely does he ever find a clique that he truly fits in with.
It can be quite surprising to other people when he reveals facets of his personality that he usually keep hidden that leaks out. He can be compared to being someone who is lacking something and compensating in other ways to cover it up, being what others would call too 'cheerful' or 'friendly' when initially meeting people and expecting the same. In the end, perhaps it is his lack of experience that draws these flaws out of his character but he is learning more with each year at Hogwarts, both knowledge and wisdom to continue on in life. But of course, not everything in Dean's life needs a coming of age story to find out certain things about himself that he knows.

A reclusive family and not to mention community that isolated itself from the rest of the wizarding community, Dean was raised in such an environment. While not as menacing as some of the stories that have come around from their seclusion, they are simply a tight knit group that support each other. They are generally considered as a separate entity from the community in Ireland but remain on friendly terms with them since the two of them are essentially neighbors. When people who are not local come around through their woods, they are curious about their intentions and try to steer them away from the many dangers that are within the woods if possible.
Dean himself was born to two parents who were both Wizards, a good majority of his relatives are wizards but there have been several family members who have been muggles that married into their society. However, those embraced by the Celtic Druids rarely have the opportunity to mingle in the ordinary world with the duties given to them since demand is always greater than the supply of wizards and witches that they have. Dean himself never got to be too familiar with the world that his muggle-born relatives came from outside of a few opportunities that he took at every chance he got. With him growing up and being handed his own duties as a child, that was where his liking for both magical creatures and magic was kindled as he spent much of his childhood with them. Having the opportunities to travel all over Ireland with his family while they took care of the jobs that were appointed to them. He learned his responsibilities at a young age that gave him a air of maturity as he grew up quickly for his age to become as independent he could be.
Of course, he wasn't neglected by his family, it could be said that their entire community was an extended family that knew each other. That was one of the benefits of living in such a close community, allowing Dean to socialize with not only kids of his own age but other people as well. From his friends and family, he was given home lessons in taking care of magical creatures and learning more about who they were as a people. This continued on until his age rolling around to being eleven when deliveries of very special letter came to their community. It had always been a thing where the older children left to attend a more 'through education' the adults said to Dean whenever he questioned. Now, it had been his time where he was introduced to Hogwarts and the letter of acceptance to attend his first year in the school.
