Bubblehead is a rather scrawny-looking, unassuming young man with a bushel of unkempt hair and large, round glasses. But that's by design. His blue-on-blue costume--complete with bubble-themed helmet--with its grey-blue cape is meant to look silly, and it surely does to some.

Bubbleheadis a brainiac/inventor. As was likely (and properly) guessed, his powers are built around the generation and manipulation of water in the form of bubbles, mainly from his wand. Water is a very adaptable, malleable substance, which, when coupled with his psionic talents, allow for a diverse range of talents. His bubbles are capable of things such as: teleportation, attacking, defense/shielding, solidification, flight, healing, changing composition (attacking with fire, acidic, electrically charged, or poisonous bubbles). In addition, he is versed in a broad range of medicinal topics and knowledge--including some extraterrestrial fields--especially where it relates to the healing properties of water, and concurrently, his bubbles. Making him something like a Swiss Army knife to any team he compliments--should he decide to join one.
As previously mentioned, he carries a giant bubble wand that is both a method to create his trademark bubbles and a melee weapon. He practices with it often enough to put him firmly in the "competent" category of martial artists.
- BACKSTORY -
Born to critically-acclaimed scientists Wolfgang and Helga Luftblase, Poplo's life was one of opulence, but also rigid independence. His parents taught him not to rely on others--even themselves--and so his eventual immigration to the U.S. was one of his own design, as was his internship at S.T.A.R. labs. Learning what he could from his engineer father, Poplo decided to study hydrology, finding water to be a fascinating element.
He is not a metahuman, but an inventor, and it was a breakthrough in his study of hydrology that, one day, led to his magnum opus--his wand--a multi-functional tool (much like Batman's utility belt) that allows the creation and manipulation of bubbles. This is not an "origin story" in the traditional sense, as Poplo did not suffer any significant tragedy that would push him to become a hero. Instead, on a whim, he decided to don a costume and take to the streets as an ant-hero, in every sense of the word. Not for any big "cause". Not for any "ideal". Not for any reason other than: testing himself. To test his gadgetry, and his abilities as a fighter.

Fairly aloof, arrogant, and ruthless when need be. Poplo doesn't chat much if at all, instead preferring to sit in the shadows, corner seat, and observe. He is constantly thinking, planning--but no one truly knows what. He is something of an enigma.

I'm honestly not good at personality or backstory in character sheets. I prefer to let all of that come to me after seeing how the character gets down in the RP. So if these sections don't entirely inspire good reading, that's why. Apologies in advance.
