Li grinned over at him and cocked an eyebrow when she saw the girl. Heh.. Go get em tiger She chuckled to herself and continued dancing, hoping she didn't look as ridiculous as she assumed she did.

A man at the bar, about 21 years old, was also dancing, although he was clearly far more intoxicated than Jett or Li. He spotted the girl dancing by herself and sauntered over, stumbling quite a bit on the way. When he reached her, he put his hand on her waist and pulled her close to him, and said into her ear, "Wan' dance?" with a sly grin.

Jett had begun to enjoy himself quite a bit. Before long, the girl had placed her arms around his neck and they continued to dance to the fast, lively beat. He sang loudly to every song he knew, and couldn't get the smile off of his face. Suddenly, he noticed movement out of the corner of his eye as the man approached Li. He frowned and all his attention was now on them.

Ambrose shrugs and gets to his feet. "Well I apologize for coming off that way. I suppose I just don't think that the Brom group is right in their mentality, and I think you're in the wrong group." He tilts his head. "I did not mean to come off so seriously." He begins walking back over to his sword, which lay next to the river.

Vera nods slightly. "It's alright." She paused and added curiously, "Why do you feel so strongly about this?" She noticed him going for his sword and became slightly more on edge.

Li took the offered hand reluctantly and allowed herself to be pulled onto the dance floor. Once there she stood awkwardly for a moment before mentally telling herself to stop being a wuss. She slowly started moving along to the beat and was soon grinning as she danced. "If you tell anyone about this, I might have to punch you too!" She laughed

Once his feet hit the dance floor, Jett began moving comfortably to the beat, and before long he was dancing with his whole body, with ample coordination, too. He closed his eyes peacefully for a moment and when he opened them, a girl he'd never seen was standing in front of him, already dancing to the beat as well. She asked him to dance with a glint in her eye and he shrugged and nodded in agreement and continued dancing. He glanced over at Li, who he saw was beginning to get into the swing of things, and he gave her an encouraging smile.

Ambrose chuckles. "Yeah. I am in fact." He inwardly sighs in relief as she places the bow on her shoulder. At least now there shouldn't be a fight. He thinks before plopping down on the ground, crossing his legs as he looks up at her. "I enjoy seeing people becoming angry, or even confused. You're definitely one of those people."

Vera shrugged. "I guess it's fun to mess with people sometimes, but you're pretty serious about it," she pointed out. "Sometimes I play tricks on my group mates or I can have a sarcastic sense of humor just to bug and mess with my friends, and that's messing around. But you're pushing me to quit my group or let go of my ambitions or something."
Li eyed the dance floor warily as she finished the last of her drink. "I dunno... I don't really dance." This was generally the case but as Li felt herself loosening up from her drink, she knew she wouldn't be hard to convince.

Jett looked at her disbelievingly. He raised one eyebrow temptingly and offered his hand to her. "C'mon, just one. This song is fast and fun. Just let loose, and have a little fun with it," he urged gently as he tugged her arm towards the dance floor.

"Alcoholic. So marvelous." Li grinned. "How about yours?" She took a longer swig from her drink and leaned back against the bar.

"Fantastic," Jett replied, finishing off the last of his glass. His eyes widened slightly at how quickly he'd downed the drink, but he felt its effect taking hold and it felt wonderful. He set down his glass, hopped out of his chair, and looked at Li. "Wanna dance?" he grinned, glancing towards the brightly lit dance floor.

Li took the stool next to him and ordered the first alcoholic drink that came to mind with a grin. "Well this certainly beats the empty camp. I approve." She glanced around the club, watching people twisting on the dance floor. She smiled and thanked the bartender as their drinks arrived before taking a sip of hers.

Jett spun around in his chair to face to dance floor and took a big sip of his drink. He felt his whole body loosening up and grinned with satisfaction. He turned to Li and raised his voice over the loud music, "How's yours?"

Li blinked as well as her eyes adjusted. "As I'll ever be. Let's see what you've got." She grinned as she issued the challenge and surveyed the interior of the club as her eyes become accustomed to the dim lighting.

Jett strolled over to the bar counter and sat down at one of the stools. He drummed his fingers on the counter for a moment, continuing to glance around the club, before a pretty bartender arrived and asked him what he would like. Jett ordered his usual drink with a smile and glanced over at Li.

Li laughed as well. "That's the best type." Li ran her left hand through her hair and grinned. "Snazzy. And popular. Maybe you do have good taste." She surveyed the sign and people as they got closer

Jett shrugged at the half-compliment with a slight smile. He pushed ahead and when they arrived at the front doors, he walked inside and blinked to adjust his eyes to the dark, flashing lighting that accompanied. "Ready?" he grinned.

Li nodded in agreement. "Sounds good to me. Let's go." She followed Jett in the light on the streetlamps. "Dance club, hmm? Are you the dancing type or the lurk at the bar and observe type?"

Jett laughed and smirked, "Depends on my mood and how much I drink." He pointed ahead to the place he was taking her, with a bright sign and a lively flow of people moving in and out.
