Nova jumped up from her cot and noticed that the sun was high in the sky. She sighed, realizing that she had slept until about noon, and it was now time for her patrol shift. Letting out a big yawn, she grabbed her bow and placed it over her shoulder, grabbing her quiver of arrows as well in case there was any trouble on the border. Nova pushed out of the tent, squinting against the bright light, and walked purposefully out of camp and followed the path set by countless other Rabins on their patrol routes.

Personality: Nova is a fiesty girl that loves to mess around and have fun. She has a great heart and can seldom bring herself to harm others unless absolutely necessary. She is very loyal to the Rabins, though, and is not afraid to fight to defend those she cares about. When bored, she loves going for walks through the forest, taking extra patrol shifts, or just lounging around in the camp clearing; she's definitely a lover of nature.

Jett nodded in agreement sleepily. "Yeah, you're right. Probably time to get some sleep," he murmured with a yawn. "Hopefully my eye will feel a bit better in the morning." He waved one last goodbye to Li before walking towards his temporary tent on the edge of the camp.

Vera walked back towards the Brom camp with a newfound sense of confidence. She decided she would talk to Fabine and finally get her worries off of her chest. Fabine, I want to be second-in-command, she rehearsed in her head, taking deep breaths.

Ambrose nods, grinning at her. "The worst he can do is say no. And at least then you'll know for sure." He shrugs. "Even if Fabine is a murderous asshole, I'm sure he's not stupid. I'm sure he knows your group is weak without a second in command, and that you guys need one soon." He lets go of her hand. "I should get going."

Vera nods in agreement. "Yeah, me too." She got to her feet and brushed herself off a bit. She glanced back at Ambrose and smiled gratefully. "Thanks a lot for listening. I'm sorry Rabins and Broms can't see eye to eye, but it was nice talking to you." She gave him one last nod of farewell and turned, trekking back into the forest.

Li grinned. "Ooh I know. We can throw a sheet over you and send you to haunt the Broms. That'd be marvelous." . She chuckled. She didn't know what seemed more ridiculous-the thought of Jett with a sheet thrown over his head, or the idea of him chasing around Broms in such a state.

Jett rolled his eyes. "As convincing as that would probably be, it probably wouldn't end well for me," he chuckled. "They'd probably stab anything mysterious that moved... otherworldly or otherwise."

Li shook her head. "Nah. Not recently. It's been pretty boring for me lately." She shrugged. "I guess I can't technically complain about having no one trying to stab me. I'm guessing you haven't had any run ins since you've been confined to camp?"

Jett shook his head, then chuckled a bit. "I'd probably be like a ghost to them, since all they knew is that I just disappeared one day. They probably thought I died or something." He chuckled slightly. "That'd be interesting."

Li grinned over at him. "No thank you. It's been forever since I've gotten to witness a bar fight." She chuckled and surveyed the dark trees around her, before directing her eyes to the ground to make sure she didn't trip over anything that could be lying there.

Jett chuckled, "Well, you didn't just witness it, you partook in it." As they walked on and into the forest, he took a precautionary glance behind him to make sure no other humans were following them. Upon seeing no one, he continued walking deeper and deeper into the trees, his eyes adjusting accordingly to the light. "So, have you had any recent skirmishes with the Broms?" he asked curiously, making conversation for their walk home.

Li followed his gaze to the clock. After noticing the time, she agreed. "That's probably a good idea. How's the eye? Are you ready to go?" She stretched for a moment, before shoving her hands in her pockets and waiting for her companion.

Jett nodded, the ice still held firmly to his eye. "Yep, I'm ready to head back." He exited the bar with Li and began walking towards the forest. "That was fun," he smiled at her. "Thanks for coming out with me."
