It's gonna be gas. Can't wait to see what sort nonsense you can pull of in focus mode with the funlance and hunting horn. Also, looking forward to new monsters to skin and wear as hats.

Flint would stylishly reload his shotgun as the man asked him about Handel. "Handle? Why I hardly know her!" He'd exclaim to Shakar with a shit eating grin. Oh God, that was such a shit joke and he knew it and even more, reveled in how bad and forced it was. He'd draw his sword as he gave Shakar a calm and collected look. It felt oddly thrilling fighting what he could loosely call an ex-comrade. After all, he was once one of them.

"The only person I'm keeping track of her is the girl. So I can't let go after her." He said dodging the swarm of crows. He'd listen Shakar complain about his captain. He'd reply with, "I guess you could call it.. a CAWW-founding attack. But what would life be without a Captain's whimsy to keep things interesting?" Flint looked at the familiar gleam of the seastone on his sword. He found himself coveting it. Flint would launch a combination attack of a stroke with his large sword followed by firing off one barrel from his gun.

"Yeah don't worry, I'll play it smart if trouble comes." He'd say to Karina before departing to enter the tower.

After the group rejoined, Karina would talk about the code phrase. The man softly recited the lines from this opera with a speed and confidence as if he had some familiarity. "Got it, but isn't this more important for Týfurkh to remember since he's the one doing the speaking?" He said wanting to know if they'd need to repeat it at some other place later on. His interest was piqued as she mentioned some trivia about the sentence and the opera it's from. He always suspected she was someone higher in the hierarchy, but being the daughter of some general in the army. Things were getting interesting especially when they'd inevitably need to accompany her to whatever place they were.

He would be quiet again as Týfurkh and Karina talked about opera. Painful, bitter, feelings arose in him and he found himself biting the inside of his lip to clear his thoughts. Briefly, he'd turn his head away from them not wanting them to notice the fleeting sour look on his face. He'd also trail behind as they climbed the stairwell. He'd also take the time to look behind them to make sure they were safe for the moment. He'd linger a bit to let out a melancholy sigh as he raced up the stairs to join them at the top. "Hope you got the words memorized big guy." He said to Týfurkh as he rested against the wall. He was position in a way to watch the stairs as well as the the others.

The man would raise a look as he noticed how strenuous it was him doing that was. The man was not only getting sweaty from it, but he was also looking pallid as well too. Then again he'd probably look pretty bad as well if he needed to use his own talent to its limit. While that was happening he was also focusing his senses back to the stairwell and below. Týfurkh would finish exhausted and right around that time he heard the door being forcefully opened. "Karina, Can you protect Týfurkh while also watching the stairs and anything from outside? In the meantime I'll do what I can to keep them busy here." He said coolly as he grabbed his stick.

The vagrant warrior would already start charging activating his power. He would take a dramatic dive from the stairs and fall below. Of course with his power activate he would become light and control his descent as he bounced from wall to wall. He would do a falling axe kick on some hapless cultists that were further up the stairs. He'd knocked them down as they rolled. He'd then rush further down as he saw just how many of these damn cultists there were. He could only hope Týfurkh would soon recover soon enough. He a feeling things would crazier.

He'd choke up his grip on the stick to compensate for smaller quarters. And he'd stab, sweep, pin, and do controlled swings to control the space around him. Here and there he'd let some empower strikes to really clear the crowd and knock them around. He was already more or less on the ground floor, for the sake of being harder to fight he'd jump on the stairs and retreat a bit upwards. The man's strategy was to more or less force most of them outside and slow their flow. For while it may be tricky to fight inside, it was a bigger disadvantage to the cultists. It would be like damming or narrowing the channel of where stream of water flowed to slow it down. Or at least that was what he hoped he could enact.

"Quiet you!" Clint pulled at Arafel's scruff as the dog barked at the boat. His annoyance grew as the boat which was full of marines began to attack them. They were trying to bomb them with these birds with bombs on them. Luckily for him, at least he had a weapon for to hit the flying birds. Shells and feathers littered the wooden planks of the ship as he blasted at the birds with his shotgun.

He watched as The Captain ordered Bakuto to spew flames are the marine ship only for the captain to slice away with a series of slashes. Flint's eye narrowed as he realized that sword had seastone on it. The presence of that sword would no doubt inconvenience the handful of devil fruit afflicted crew members. And of course Alesia had to jump headfirst and fight against the captain. With his guardian instinct kicking in, he would follow her too.

Before he did that however, he'd reload a different type of shell into his gun and then take the leap into enemy ship. He pulled the triggers one by one. Each pull triggering a plume of fire. One aimed at the sails and the other aimed the captain. It wasn't as good as more conventional shot or slugs but it should do the work of what he wanted. "Hey Cap, gotta be more careful. Be a shame to have you fall into the drink you know."
I will work on making a post soon.
Can you be an actual power ranger/sentai squad?
And special thanks to mangrale for the collab post we worked that he was going to post. He has allowed me to post it in his place.

Quest 1
Reclaim the Trade Festival Grounds

Chapter 1 - A Joint Venture
Part 1 - Eastern Gate (6:00 A.M. - 6:30 A.M.)
In Collaboration with @Jerkchicken

The snow and frost of winter had not completely melted away by the time much of the guild’s staff had gathered at the hall to pick up whatever they needed before descending upon the village’s easter entrance as a group, a bracing chill greeting them as the sun seemed to just barely begin its climb.

Rowan had met the day with his usual brand of irritable lethargy, the kind that only slightly subsided after a mug of coffee from downstairs. His was the first footsteps within the main hall, setting aside the coffee pot to boil before making final preparations with those that were due to arrive. Normal guild operations would commence for the day in an hour or so.

But for now, everyone’s effort was directed to prepping for this quest. Nearby cluckadoodles were still vehemently ushering forth the beginning of the day by the time he and a sizable band of workers took to the village’s stone paths. All were carrying something, from wheelbarrows of useful items like rope and tent-making materials, to bundles full of provisions and other useful items, consumable or otherwise.

In a matter of moments the the site became quite the hive of activity, with a number of people guiding in a large, buffaloo-drawn wagon down to meet them there. Able to carry most of the shared supplies along with up to four people not including the coachman, renting this covered was a good call if Rowan did say so himself, a slight smirk about him until he saw who had hitched a ride on it.

Hi Rowan!” exclaimed an excited Vivian from the back entrance of the carriage once the man came around from the side. “Great day for a hunt isn’t it?

The man, although not fazed by her outburst, was nevertheless fairly perplexed to see her. “I don’t remember calling you here this early,” he said with a raise of his eyebrow, to which she smiled widely.

Oh, that’s okay. You didn’t have to. I knew you were renting a wagon from nearby, so when I found out where it was I woke up early to see it myself. There was no way I could help myself when it came to this big guy!” she exclaimed as she turned around and leapt off the front of the wagon and onto the back of the burly beast to give it a hug. If it was almost anyone else, Rowan would have stopped them. But the buffaloo didn’t even raise a foot in protest, but rather lightly shook its head as it grunted at a nearby guild member to feed it more grass.

In no time at all, the eager half-elf dismounted off the beast of burden and stood looking up to a waiting Rowan. “Well that, and I really wanted to see everyone off,” she admitted more calmly, but no less earnestly, the guildmaster smirking at her in return.

It was the day of this grand hunt Rowan, The Guildmaster had organized with his Adventurer’s guild. The town guard as agreed upon yesterday, assembled a crew lead by Mercedes. It was a team of six herself included that showed. At their side was a team of Horse lizards acting as their mounts. The creatures were reptiles capable of a semi-bipedal stance and grasping claws for their forelimbs.

“Good Morning,” The woman said to Rowan, “I take it we’re still waiting on the others to arrive?” She would answer his response and then focus on her teammates. Although they were all dressed identically, as expected of a group like them, each one of them was bring along different weapons and various tools in their packs.

“Hey boss, should we show off our gear for tracking the critters down to the guildmaster? Might be useful if he wants us to pair with the adventurers.”

“Not a bad idea.” She replied. She would then call over for his attention and tell him about her comrade’s suggestion.

Upon seeing the guards draw closer, Rowan simply nodded and rose his hand in affirmation to the squad’s leader, his eyes darting around to the steadily growing assembly and noticing that there were still a fair number of hunters yet to arrive. While he was telling the woman as much, Vivian’s attention would immediately be drawn to her men’s reptilian steeds, a somewhat cautious approach as she gingerly neared one.

A means of seeking out monsters…” he repeated as his arms folded in preparation of looking this gear of theirs further, though his eye did linger in following the small girl in her curious examination of these formidable looking mounts. “Seems to me that in a mission like this, the kind of monster that needs dealing with are the sort that will make themselves easy to find. When our job is done, any monsters left will be easily taken care of by the security forces hired for the festival. That said, if you truly believe this gear of yours will make a difference, then go ahead and show me or the hunters when enough have arrived. They are the ones accompanying you after all.

The reasoning regarding the breeding and discipline behind service animals however vicious in appearance for an outfit as honorable as the guard was lost to an extent on the young half-elf, but in no time her hand would be gently brushing along the rough hide along the side of one of the creatures, a giddy smile growing on her face before she looked in Mercedes’ direction. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like these before! What do you call them!?” she asked as she returned to petting it, as though observing what area seemed to relax the creature more. “Wow, these scales are so pretty,” she said to herself, admiring it up close.

“They’re called Horselizards.” The woman replied to the girl. “They’re not that mean tempered despite their appearance. They like to have their necks scratched.” She then made her way to Rowan and listened to what he said. He was skeptical to say the least.

“True enough, we’ll show the other hunters what we have.” She said to Rowan. She then continued, “The issue here is the ones who are currently hidden or are ambushers. Those ones are more dangerous than the monsters that merely wander and attack. Furthermore, the tools are not just focused on tracking monsters but also for reading any magical disturbance which should be useful for finding the root cause of the monster surge.”

Having said that, she then regrouped with her fellow guardsmen. They spent their time idly chattering as well as inspecting everything they had meticulously. There was a brief discussion over tactics, but it was agreed that it would be better to bring that up with the others once they arrive. After all, this was supposed to be a collaborative effort and it would be best to wait and then discuss it.
Flint replied to her, "Well let's just say I'm good with children. Someone has to, after all, anyway thanks for the save. Come along Scruffy." He didn't know nor really care how this animal got aboard. This would be something to take care of later once things calmed down. Eventually he'd see the dragon, the Cap, and some more new faces coming aboard. It seemed like it was starting to get a bit crowded on this ship with all the people. This might be something he would broach to the captain, he did have plenty on money on hand give or take what would be used on supplies.

"Hey there Cap' here's Scruffy. I hope you like him as there's not taking him back." He said to her as he took a sip of drink from his canteen. He took another as he felt himself refresh after the events that transpired earlier. During that time Alesia gave the orders to set sail for Loguetown. It seems like they'd finally be entering the Grand Line. He wasn't surprised, it was bound to happen. Things would get more interesting once they leave Loguetown.

"Cap' when we get to Loguetown mind if I chat with you about some things?" He said to her before he went off to work. He'd assist in the sailing of the ship. Well as much as he could anyway, with all the new people on it's not like there would be dearth of tasks to be done. After they were set for their destination, he would go back to idling and watching everyone move around. He leaned against the mast and adjusted his shades. He thought about the Mayor's instructions. Hopefully he'd steer clear of any distractions and be able to do this task.
Alright I'm gonna work on a post for opening up the hunting party.
@13org@Fetzen

The party had finally made it to the clock tower. It was definitely worse for wear, and he could understand the giant's trepidation with regards to climbing the tower. His weight could pose a risk on breaking the steps if they were damaged and wooden. He could probably break the locked door, but it might be more suspicious than they already were hanging around it. He calmly paced around while eyeballing their surroundings. He noticed an open window in the tower that seemed large enough to crawl through.

Chuckling he stepped forward saying, "No need for rope, like I said I'd scout for you two didn't I? Just hold tight and try not to be more suspicious than we already are." Before he did anything he glanced around to see if there weren't any people to see what he'd do next. Of course he was none the wiser about them being followed. He then started running up a nearby building as his power kicked in for him to make a flying leap from the rooftop and towards the clock tower. From there, there he'd climb and jump up the tower as he grabbed what could and slipped in through that window.

Inside, he'd find the interior in much better state than the exterior. He stood still on the wooden steps which while creaky where definitely solid at least for his steps. He stood still as he listened if there was anyone else inside that he'd need to dispatch. After a couple of minutes concentration, he didn't detect anything inside with him. Well outside of the pigeons, their molted feathers, and shit. He'd use his power to leap down the stairwell to get down faster. He'd unlock the door and then poke his head out, calling attention to Týfurkh and Karina. "Get in her and let's get this done with!" He'd say in a low voice to them.
