Bio

Hello! I'm Jones! and if you stumbled upon my page, I must have struck your interest!

I like to think that I'm a storyteller. I joined this site to create characters, and worlds I can put myself in. Every post I make will be to the best of my ability, and I hope anyone who stumbles upon my name can see that :D

Just a few things about me if you couldn't tell already by just glancing at my profile haha:

-I LOVE anything Captain America or Marvel related

-I have been RP'ing for over ten years now so I got some experience

- I do my best to try and have a wide range of RP genres

-I'm mostly do 1X1's and Casual/advanced RP's

-I'm a 20 something year old male living in the Pacific North West in the good ole US of A!

- I love meeting new RP'ers and seeing what we can create together!

- I'm a sucker for romance <3

There are specific times of the year where I get bombarded with things so I might not be on for a couple days, and if that's the case I'm trying to let anyone know so they aren't left wondering.

But like I said I love it when people contact me and ask if I want to RP with them, or have an idea and want my skills, and odds are I love the same thing, so If anyone wants to collab just shoot me a PM!

Subjects I love to RP

-Anything Marvel Related, Especially Cap!

-The Percy Jackson Series

-The Witcher

-Avatar the Last Airbender

-Anything Sci-Fi

-Harry Potter

- 1X1 Romances

-Modern day life

-Star Wars

-Fairy Tail

Those are pretty much my go to's, but I'm willing to hear out any idea and think about it!

Here's an example of my writing to give you a sense of my "skill" I guess... I keep trying to get better and better so bear with me!

If you have any questions about my RP's, or future ones just shoot me a PM!

Writers I adore

Nightwing95 ((We need to start a project sometime!))

KZOMB13

wistfulwords

All of these people are amazing writers and friends and if you happen to RP with them consider yourself lucky! XD

and for a final note: THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A HOBBY, NOT A CHORE! I never want to put pressure on you, or myself and make any RP feel like you NEED to post, or have to force yourself to write. This is supposed to be fun, and I'll do anything to make sure it feels that way :)

"She could have fought back, you know. She could have stood up for herself against him if you just sent one damn message to us."

Ray sat at his desk, his right arm grasping his left as it shook. He managed to play some very old and classic jazz through his room's speakers to try and calm his nerves, but there was a mix of emotions going through his mind. Fear, excitement, dread, weariness, all coming to mind as he stared at the desk. This was the first time he's gotten a lead on Anna in years. He couldn't lose it. He couldn't lose the last normal thing in his life.

"He didn't kill mom. You did, when you left us."

The captain jumped a bit at the sound of a metallic thump on his door, with a slurred voice after it. There was a couple seconds of hesitation. He didn't want his crew to see him like this. He still had his bruises and cuts from his recent fight, his whole body throbbed with pain, and a mix of emotions swirled through his head... Then again, booze could be just what the doctor ordered.

Raymond walked over to his door, pressing a button to open it. It revealed the crew's engineer, or "science officer" according to Tango and a few other robots she tinkered with. She was a trusted member on the team, no doubt. "No drinking straight from the bottle?" Ray asked, his voice a bit raw from the recent yelling. He nodded towards the room, and took the glass gently from Tymea's hand. "We deserve a drink, after all the things we've been through these past couple days... How you holding up?" Ray asked. He knew full well his crew was a mixture of criminals, volunteers, and mercs, so he wasn't going to expect a touchy moment with every member on the ship. But while they were here sharing drinks, might as well try.
I've been working on a post, I've been inactive for a while haha, but I am in fact still here!!
The Night moved fast, and it wasn't long before Dick was left with the choice of meeting with Abbie or not on that roof. It would honestly change everything. If he was completely honest with himself, he totally would have helped her if Bruce was still around... But he wasn't. And he left him in charge. Batman wasn't there to fix Nightwing's mistakes... He was constantly thinking about what Bruce would do in this situation. Then again, he wasn't Bruce. He left HIM in charge for a reason. Dick had a feeling in his gut that he could trust this woman... And boy, he hoped he was right.

Nightwing made it to the rooftop to see that Abbie was already there. "Last chance. You can leave this city, find a nice little island, live the rest of your days drinking Martinis and sitting on the beach." Nightwing said, as if trying to sweeten the deal of keeping her from doing this. "No? Okay then. I have something to show you." Nightwing motioned her over to him, holding out his arm. Once again the masked man put his arm around her, took out his grappling hook, and fired towards the clocktower.

---

The top of the tower had a hidden latch on top, and with the suit's identification code transmitting, it opened up quickly, where the two dropped down into the darkness. It was old, worn down, and looked rather dusty as the city lights glowed through the windows. The shadow of the clock hands and numbers illuminated on the floor. "This place was abandoned years ago when the bigger villains of the city started to show themselves. The city kinda shifted over, and started its headquarters in what is now downtown Gotham. This place didn't even get a second glance." The masked man talked as he made his way towards an old bust of a former mayor of Gotham, he flipped open its head, and pressed the button located underneath.

The room sprang to life, the windows being covered by metal, old bookshelves being replaced with old ones, or shelves of weapons, computers, and places to keep outfits. The front of the room showed the mega computer, often run by Oracle but was relocated until they knew they could trust Abbie. It showed numerous things like a constant scan of Gotham, criminal records popping in and out, and surveillance cameras. The center of the floor was replaced with a padded one, with a spotlight shining onto it. "This isn't the Bat Cave, but its a close alternative... Kinda like our home away from home." Nightwing said, a smug grin on his face.

"I know, its pretty impressive. This is where my lovely assistant and I will try to train you. There's no backing out now."
And thus the entire crew gets drunk.

I'm sure the captain will be SO proud of us, right @Jones Sparrow?

Well, they have had a stressful few days, he's emotionally unstable and most of them break rules and laws anyway, so he will accept it with open (and drunk) arms XD
The money Robert stole from the Governor made him happier, but seeing Marian's face of satisfaction was worth more to him than all the money in the world. He pretended to act surprised as he looked down to see the man covered in soda, and he gave a laugh. "'Governor Stick-Up-His-Ass' had it coming." Robert said with a grin, leaning back, and offering out the cotton candy to Marian. His gaze moved to the field until the screams and cheers became loud and he looked up to see that he and the beautiful blonde next to him were on the Kiss Cam. Well this wasn't really what he was expecting. He would do anything to get a kiss from Marian, but not this way. She was probably going to laugh and shake her head at the camera, leaving everyone (including him) disappointed that she wouldn't play along. Should he make a move, or just leave the choice up to--

Marian's hand touched his face, and then their lips touched, and all of Robert's senses were on fire. The world could have ended right there and then, but he wouldn't have cared. Her lips were too perfect to describe, for years Robert has been totally in love with this woman, and it seemed that his stubborn attitude finally paid off in this moment. Marian pulled away, and Robert was still in place, his lips wanting to go back to her's but he didn't. He opened his eyes to see her reaching for cotton candy, and looking away at the empty game. Robert had no idea what she was thinking, if she liked the kiss or not, why she so quickly kissed him in the first place, or if this just ruined their "Not-Date"

For a few minutes they sat in silence, until Robert finally spoke up, giving a little cough before. "I choose Truth." He said, looking over at her with a little grin, remembering that she had asked her before he left.
Robert wasn't really expecting this reaction to his question, and the more she talked the more his heart broke, and when he saw how angry she got and the tears form in her eyes, he hated Governor Lyon more than ever. His gaze turned over to where the governor was, and he glared with hatred. He and Marian had something else in common: they were both screwed over by this man. Robert was lost in thought, still glaring at the man until Marian asked him truth or dare. He turned back to her and his gaze softened slightly. "I'll be right back. The popcorn-beer combo is finally getting to me." Robert said with a weak grin, getting up from his seat, climbing up the stairs, and disappearing into the crowd.

--

It wasn't hard to sneak in and find a vendor outfit, and it wasn't hard to find a hat and glasses to hide his face. He wondered how much time had passed since he left Marian, but he didn't care about that at the moment. All he could think about was Governor Lyon. He grabbed a tray full of popcorn and cotton candy, put it around his neck, and walked down the aisle of the stands, giving a fake thick Boston accent. "POOOPCORN, COTTON CANDY, COLD DRINKS!" Robert yelled, his accent think and unrecognizable as he made his way through the crowds, tossing people the items. He got lucky to see that a family behind the Governor was asking for him to make his way over. Robert shimmied his way into the stands, and once he got behind the Governor, he accidentally dropped a couple drinks on the governor and his family.

"Oh geez, sir I am so incredibly sorr--HEY!" Robert was grabbed by body guards, and he was expecting that in his plan. There was no doubt that they knew Robin Hood used disguises, but they wouldn't find anything on Robert's person. After the initial search, Robert was released, and he quickly went to help the governor. "I am so sorry sir, here, let me get that for ya. Would you like some free popcorn? Its on the house!" Robert said, his accent thick as his hands quickly patted him down with a towel. Lyon was very angry, and did a poor job at hiding it, but he eventually gave a sigh and shook his head. "Its fine.... We'll take a couple bags of each. Please let someone else come here next time. I don't want another soda shower." He said in a passive aggressive tone. Robert wanted to punch the man up close, but he nodded and smiled weakly as he handed the people their items. "So sorry, sir. It won't happen again... eh, enjoy the game!"

Swiftly Robert walked out of the aisle, and back up the stairs, and nodding his hat at Marian who was still sitting there enjoying the game. It was a subtle hello as Robin Hood, and she wouldn't think twice about it at all until the news reporter tonight will talk about how the Governor was robbed of hundreds of dollars from his personal wallet.

---

Robert came back before quickly fixing his messy hair before he sat back down next to Marian, holding fresh beer, and a bag of cotton candy. "Sorry, lines were killer... Did I miss anything good?" Robert asked, looking at the game casually.
That was a very long post, but very fun to write haha, hope it makes sense!

Boom and Akaya, I didn't want to control your characters, so I gave a small direction and wanted to let you guys fill in the blanks!
Raymond couldn't help but smirk at Rae's response to their question. As if it wasn't insulting to be asked the same questions numerous times just because they didn't trust you. It was funny to think that when he was in the military there wouldn't be any doubt or hesitation whenever Ray asked someone to do something. They would jump off a cliff if he asked them to... It was clear though his crew mates would vouch for him, and trusted him fully, but the Committee was definitely not interested in that. Raymond nodded at the points Rae made when saying that it was a team effort. He was proud of his crew, all of them brought something to the table that would help them survive even longer, and he was thankful for that.

The Committee's attention reluctantly turned back to Raymond when Rae requested that Terry and Meghan be reassigned on another ship. Time for Raymond to step up again. "Captain Chase, do you agree with the Doctor?" The Chairman asked. Ray nodded. "Yes, Chairman. They are remarkable, but it is for the best of the Monroe and the Expedition Force that their assistance should be put elsewhere." The Committee seemed to like that answer.

"Very well. We approve your request, we will update your roster before you leave the Spire later today." The Earth representative said with a nod. "And speaking of which..." The Chairman muttered again, receiving a tablet from a Committee member. "You have new members for your team, Captain. Galvus Velinian, a Zaetherian soldier. Everything you need to know about him will be at your private terminal on the Monroe."

"And Pip Bernadotte, let this meeting be your hearing. We have looked up everything we could on you. A very secretive, yet messy history of being a mercenary... Where you've recently broke several laws under Committee code..." The Yhei Representative muttered, examining the tablet of information.

"Mister Bernadotte, as head Earth Representative, I have the authority to sentence you for the crimes you committed against both Committee and Earth laws. You have three options. Death Row, Death Row in The Rock... Or you can join the Marauders." Hal Mitchell said, looking at the man straight in the face, even though it was not a good sight.

Raymond was actually very surprised. Losing two members to get two new ones right back, both of which seemed like two very big alphas... But there was a bit of respect with Pip and Ray, and he didn't know a thing about this Galvus character, but he did hear stories about the Zaetherians. They were a military race, were similar to both a Tu'Veeri and human in the sense of thinking, but these are just stories he's heard.

"Captain Chase, Doctor Draini, you are allowed to leave, Mister Bernadotte does not have to make a decision just yet, but he will be held in custody until his decision is made. Refuel, resupply, and whether or not you get two new members or one, you will be cleared to leave by the next Sol... And Captain, make sure you look at your private terminal periodically. With all of these events, there will be a lot of work that will need to be done." Raymond looked at the Head Chairman, gave a nod and respectful bow, and walked towards the exit
------

The elevator doors opened and Raymond Chase walked out back onto the bridge, with a lot on his mind. He was exhausted, his crew was exhausted, and yet he couldn't sleep. Not yet. He had new crew members joining, his team was probably going to be constantly hit with requests and questions about how they found a cure of the mole-man poison on an Expedition Ship, and they were going on another voyage soon. He wasn't complaining, though. The more he works the less he has to deal with the politics, the more he's out there, the more he shows everyone that if anyone deserved a second chance, it was his crew members... And he was living his childhood dream. To travel to those far off stars in the clear Colorado sky.

He was halfway across the large bridge when he heard a voice behind him. "Excuse me sir. Can I see some identification?" Raymond rolled his eyes in frustration, and was about to tell the man off, but when he turned and looked up, he gave a shocked grin. "Holy shit. What the hell is your ugly face doing out in public?" Raymond asked as he looked at the large Tu'Veeri man. The long brown hair was braided neatly, matching his neat Committee uniform. This man joined the Committee the same time as Raymond, and they were partners in their basic training. His name is so hard to pronounce, that he usually goes by simply Barney. "Sir Chase, Captain of the Monroe. It's great to see you again." Barney said, holding out his hand. Raymond grabbed the large forearm in a handshake, giving a smile. "It's been a while. You a security guard now?" Ray asked teasingly. It was strange to have a Tu'Veeri have a sense of humor, most of them are literal and don't take kindly to mocking their honor, but Barney was very different.

"For now, yes. With all the Council members meeting for the next few days, security has been even tighter here. I heard you survived an ambush from the Sekvali. Impressive, but I'm not surprised. Atlas always survives." Barney said with a grin, and Raymond avoided eye contact. "It was just another mission, and without my crew I wouldn't have gotten far, but thanks Barney." He said with a nod. Barney returned the nod and looked around, clearly uncomfortable about something.

"What?" Ray asked. "I... Have some information. About your family--" Barney began, but Ray turned. "I gotta get back to my ship, man. I don't need to hear more about my dad." Ray said, starting to walk down the bridge again. "It isn't about your dad, Ray!" Barney called out, which made the Captain stop dead in his tracks. He walked back towards his old friend, staring at him dead in the eyes. "What do you know?" He asked quietly. Barney shook his head. "I don't know anything personally... But I know someone who does. But there's a problem. I overheard him at a bar last night. He's a crime lord known here. He won't be easy to get to."

"Where is he now?" Ray said in a deadly quiet tone. "Probably working in his illegal cage fights in the lower districts. Every time the Committee tries to stop it, he either beats the committee members to death, or disappears for a few sols and starts it somewhere else."

"Tell me where the fights are. I'll talk to him." Ray said, but Barney shook his head. "Did you not hear the part where he beats people to death? He's a rare breed on the Committee. A Xonak by a name that roughly translates to Plague." Ray looked at his friend again, his dark green eyes staring intensely at him. "Where is he, Barn?"

----

"There was a rumor going around that your sister used her family name to get aboard a colony ship heading to a new safe planet to help colonize it. She's working for some organization that works with new colonies or something. Last I heard it was going to Sector 14, Quadrant 2."

Plague told Ray everything he needed to hear. The man may be a criminal and running an illegal fighting arena, but he knows when he's been beaten, and respects it. So everything he told Ray was the truth.

Raymond Chase walked towards his ship, now clothed. His head was bandaged, but his lip was still swollen, and bruises covered his face. The first person he met was Tango. "Captain!" The robotic voice said as he turned to face him. "Welcome back! How was the meeting?" Tango examined Raymond and his battle wounds. "Not good, I suppose." The robot said quietly.

"The meeting went fine... The doctor make it back yet? Did we get a new member besides, Gabe? Gavin?" Ray asked, looking at the cargo that was being added to the Monroe. "Do you mean Galvus? He is right over there." Tango said before walking on board the ship.

Ray made his way to the large Zaetherian. "Galvus Velinian?" Ray asked, looking him up and down, as if scanning him. "I'm Captain Raymond Chase. This is the Monroe, and it will be your new home for a while. Welcome to the Marauders." Raymond held out his hand, normally every species in the Committee had some form of handshake, so he decided to play it safe and offer a hand.
@KaiserElectric

Don't worry, I've spent the last couple days working on a pretty lengthy post myselfXD hopefully I'll have it done later tonight!
@KaiserElectric

It would be very boring if I said no NPC's hahaha

I don't mind at all if you do, this is all about our characters and making them more than just criminals!
