Busy, busy day. Sad that the only writing I could do today was writing this guild status. ~.~

Each night close to bedtime I tell myself, "fuck work!" only to be fucked by work the next day.

Today is the happier yet sadder day of the month. Because today is the day salary comes in and immediately flies out of the bank account like it didn't even happen :(

Bio
"Well, be good now and say hi, I can see you there, stranger," a feminine voice spoke out of nowhere, its owner hidden from plain sight. One could say it sounded like a challenge, to lure visitors into obeying her command and dropping a PM or a VM on her profile, but if one were to listen carefully, it was more of an awkward attempt to befriend the newcomer who had consciously or unconsciously stumbled upon her domain.
"Not listening, are you? Oh fine, I'll come greet you instead." Some indiscernible noises and an oops dammit later, a petite figure emerged from behind the shadows of the guild looking at her visitor curiously yet somewhat wary of whoever who was now present at her doorstep, her steps slow but purposeful. She was not one to engage in chats, not for the lack of friendliness, but she was often afraid of saying the wrong things, awkward things, which may scare visitors away.
It can't be helped; she was more of an introvert after all, and years of being cooped in her small home did nothing to improve her communication skills with others. It only made her fail to express her true desires and intentions with the right words, often causing confusion to everyone who made contact with her. She decided that withdrawing into her own world might be best - that way she wouldn't inconvenience others nor would she ever send the wrong kind of message.
Though every now and then, she found herself wishing she could at least break free from her introvert shell. She did try of course, on days when she had a bit more courage and a bit more confidence, then she screwed up again and ran back to her hidey-hole to weep in disappointment. Today was one of such days; she felt braver than usual, plus she couldn't seem to ignore the presence of this stranger lurking around her profile.
Putting on her best smile, she said, "Hello, I'm Jonisca. Who are you?"

Hi there, Profile Visitor! I know I don't have much to offer at the moment, because I don't even know what I can offer haha. The above story/post/idunnowhattocallit? can be a reference to those who want a glimpse of my writing capability (or incapability for that matter .__.). I love reading stories with interesting plots and romance, preferably in medieval or some otherworldly fantasy settings but in terms of writing in this kind of genre...I have yet to discover if I have such flair. Gotta roleplay to know eh?
I cannot vouch for whether I can write up to anyone's expectations; if I am good, yay! If I am bad...*sadface* Jokes aside, feel free to throw constructive criticisms at me. I promise I will accept them most graciously...*looks with sad puppy eyes*
Areas I may be interested in: - Generally romance, (feel free to PM me your idea to check if I'll be interested, since romance is pretty wide lol. Just fyi, I hardly write smut though as I lean more to light + slow burn romance) - Medieval fantasy - Adventure - Tempted to do high fantasy but posts will probably be slow due to overthinking - Time travel - Paranormal fiction, preferably something unique other than vampires and werewolves - Romance xianxia aka Chinese cultivation fantasy involving immortals and Chinese mythology
Not inclined to do: - Sci-fi - Fandoms, due to my limited knowledge in movies, anime, drama series - Historical fiction, mainly because it would take too long to research - Military - School settings, unless the plot is good - Modern, unless it's mixed with heavy otherworldly setting
Looking forward to interacting with most of you, and I hope to rp with you guys! Most of all, have fun, and have a good day! :D
Fun Fact 1: I reply quick. as soon as I can. Fun Fact 2: I can lose interest easily in a RP with uninspiring plots and posts. Fun Fact 3: I love me some romance C-dramas. *activates hopeless romantic mode*
As if she didn't have enough surprises after surprises, Ying's eyes widened with curiosity at the new presence of a waitress in the cafe. She had been distracted with absorbing new information from Aisling, that she failed to notice the waitress Runiaka had been around since she entered the place with Aisling and Birdie, before being joined by the new owl Archimedes.
Runiaka was speaking to Aisling and her both about many things, but Ying could not quite grasped what was spoken. She noticed Aisling put on an owl necklace around her neck after opening a wooden trinket box that contained a key and said necklace. Aisling was speaking to her when Ying fumbled with another trinket box Runiaka placed on the table that was presumably meant for her. She frowned; she could not understand a single word Aisling said.
It was not until she copied Aisling's gesture by putting on her owl necklace, that she finally understood all conversations. She caught Aisling's question finally.
"Can you understand what I am saying?" she heard Aisling asked, and for the first time, Ying felt smart enough to understand her friend. It was a powerful feeling, to understand and be understood. At least now, she felt like she belonged a bit more.
"Yes...yes. I can understand now. I think it's because I'm wearing the necklace then everything starts to make more sense." Ying smiled. "By the way, I wanted to say thank you to you for everything you have given me earlier. It was difficult to tell you that when I don't know how to speak your language, but not anymore with this interesting necklace."
Ying looked at the buzzer and menu on the table, then her frown returned. As much as she felt glad for the translator device, she still couldn't read the squiggles on the menu nor could the translator device teach her the function of the small round device on the table Runiaka had placed along with the menu. She could only ask Aisling for help...again.
"Aisling, I'm sorry but I will need your help with the menu. I'm not sure how this round device works too, sorry." Ying smiled apologetically. She then shifted her attention to the key in her trinket box. "Also, what do we do with this key actually? Mine says number 2, what is this for?"
The original Gus and Bess were from that planet and was sent off to avoid the war. Most of these children died a rare few did find planet earth which where they were heading. To Qualify for the escape pod, you had to be under 5 years old. Gus was not quite 5 and Bess was 3. The children were paired up so that there was a male and a female in each pod.
This might mix you up..... Gus the bus driver and Bess the teacher are AI robots trained to do one specific set of chores and nothing else matters to them except those chores.
So does this mean that Aisling and Ying and Runiaka and the owls are in the same bus as AI Gus and Bess?
You mentioned that original Gus and Bess were sent off to avoid war, but you mean to some other planet not Earth? Because there's this escape pod age requirement thing.
At the moment we are on Earth but the bus will take us to various places which has a specific set of lessons for us to learn and a set of goals to get certain items. Once we get the items, we can leave that place. These places will take place on a parallel plant called Terra Firma. It was once a planet full of people that had magic. A Magick War had broke out and they killed each other by terrible disease called wasting away disease. The last 2 people- 1 from each side- shot each other to put each other out of their misery and waiting to die of starvation.
This part about the last 2 people shot one another to end their misery - so this happened a long time ago or are they still waiting to die of starvation? Just want to get the timeline of things down and know how Gus and Bess fit into the picture to prevent a disconnect in my posts.
Do you have any ideas for the RP?
Not at the moment, as I'm trying to get hold of the base of the story haha. The plot is there, just needs some order so that I can understand and reply accordingly.
