Whew. With finals done, I can finally relax and keep up.

@Joshua Tamashii @Eklispe

Oh yea! Erika and crew are also on the same route!

More possible people to meet then

@Roseletta

Joshua was surprised by Amaya's initial reaction to his questions, having meant them mostly in jest, and then even more surprised by the response she actually gave to them. This in turn cause his face to actually go a bit red as well, something he was not used to in the slightest, and he scratched the back of his head in an embarrassed manner. Her response, which he took as a yes to both of his questions, was the last thing he had been expecting in the world and as she cheerfully went off to talk to the next pair who entered the conversation, mulling over what she had said and how he felt about it.

Lucus Griffonbane

@Roseletta

"He's a Jade Dragon Slayer but close enough." Lucus said calmly. "In concerns to Amelia though, what Rose has said is true Ryu. Just be yourself and approach her as yourself. Easier said then done for a lot of people, but you should be fine with a few attempts. Who knows, keep at it and she might try to approach you instead."

As for Elyse, I did not know that about her, but I think I'll avoid beaches with her from now on. Seriously, if I take her to one, she might end up instinctually using Water Magic on me and I do not want that.
"

Just as he finished talking, Elyse came rushing into the restaurant and ran to Rose, climbing into her mother's lap, her skin as cold as the outdoors due to being out there for the last hour.
"Want hot chocolate." She said, looking up at Rose.

"What's the magic word Elyse." Lucus said.

"... Pwease?"
@Eklispe mentioned you in last post but screwed up the spelling of your name. So, heads up.

Amelia was starting to wonder how many times she might be left either breathless or with a sense of wonder on this trip. The view that greeted her when she reached Route 5 was positively stunning and she had to take a second to take it all in, just staring out at it with her mouth open slightly in shock. When she finally did recover, she began moving through the route, looking for a spot with an excellent view. Of course, she was scanning the Pokémon she came across and tried to approach the Deerlings she came across, approaching them slowly and in a nonthreatening manner.

Whether she failed or not, Amelia would continue looking for a hill or similar relatively safe place with a view before taking a seat and reaching into her bag to pull out something she hadn't used yet and somewhat wish she had. Her sketchpad, filled with several drawings of her pokemon friends back home. Moving to a blank page, she brought out a pencil and began sketching the landscape before her, her attention now completely on the task at hand and not her surroundings.

I'm amiable to that, as soon as I complete the tricky task of disengaging from this Sawsbuck.

Could always run into her while running from the angry deer
@Eklispe We're on the same route. Would you be up for Amelia and Dawkin meeting each other and possibly traveling a bit?

When the boat arrived, Amelia returned all her pokemon to their pokeballs before getting onboard and paying the fair. She was happy to be undisturbed throughout the trip, enjoying watching the water as the boat moved across the lake. When the trip was over and she was off the boat, she had to marvel at how this town was built over the water and took her time taking in the sight. It was nothing like Witchpeak City, a concept so foreign she needed to just take it all in.

Which only took her about two minutes. Once she was done, she quickly figured out the canoes going around would take her where she wanted so she quickly grabbed one to take her to Route 5. On the trip over, she would occasionally reach out to touch one of the local Woopers or Quagsires, laughing a bit at their derpy, happy-go-luck expressions. Luckily, since the Woopers were noon land, they would not be covered in the poisonous film they used while on land.

Once she reached Route 5, she would head out to begin her journey towards Route 6 then Raremine Town. She was betting on this one taking a day or two to complete. Fine by her.
@PlatinumSkink so, this town is like Pacficlog, only without the logs between the buildings?

Amelia was definitely content with relaxing on the docks so she was pleasantly surprised when one of the fishermen came over and gave her a fishing rod. It looked old and like it had seen better days but she had no doubt she might be able to use it to fish up something when she decided to finally do so. For now though, she was happy to just dangle her feet over the water and watch whatever pokemon she could make out swimming under the surface. Her pokemon seemed content to wonder around, save for shy little Shuppet, and kept an eye on them and made sure they didn't wonder to far.

When the ferry finally arrived, she put her got up, put her pokemon in their pokeballs, and boarded the ship after putting on her sandals and paying for the post of a trip to Lakewatch Town. Once she had been cleared to get on, she looked for a place to sit down and wait for the journey to end, content to stick to herself unless someone decided to come and talk to her.
