Again, sorry for the double post.

Um, Yes. For the most time, he will just be activating his power in the Golden Fleece mode. His full form would be for speed, transportation, and other movement related purposes. His hybrid form would be where the full power of the fruit (i.e. increase in defense against the dark arts physical attacks, strength boost, moderate healing) would come into effect.

Oh okay. I see how you're planning on using the character, and for the most part it doesn't sound too bad, but I still need to see the changes in your character's CS ^.^;
@Crimson Lion@grandia20
Abbygail's face twitched after she hit the man. He was still breathing, on some level that was a shame, but on another level, one much closer to the surface, she was relieved he was still alive. At the right things were going there weren't going to be many of the Legion pirates left alive once the day was over, and there needed to be at least one left to take the punishment for the rest of them, just one.

"That's fine" Abbygail, stood up and looked towards the swordsman. "We're all entitled to think whatever we want, but just don't try to get it my way. Trust me, it's for your own good." She smiled. "As for making me mad, I wouldn't worry about running if I were you. You'd only die tired."

"Hmmm?" She mumbled to the man who introduced himself. "There's no need for thanks, at least from me. I'm only fighting on account of rather liking this village. It's not exactly peaceful, but there's a sort of gentleness to the way it bites, don't you think?" She turned her attention to the docks and watched the man named Kyysucara head towards them and then stop. "I'm not sure what you're waiting for, but I'm going to go on ahead. There's too many people in trouble to stand back and wait. Hesitation can costs lives!" The purple haired woman shouted as she ran past him.

"Damn. Meddling pirates." One of the men behind the metal mask muttered as he propped himself up on a piece of wood that was scorched along its side, probably came from one of the buildings that had been blown up. "Hey!" He shouted to the man as he limped towards him. "Hey you, with the vacant look in his eyes."

"Hey!" Abbygail shouted, noting that the swordsman was running with her, and for once since the whole thing started, they weren't being surrounded by men in metal hats. "I'm assuming you're heading towards the docks too.
I don't know if you're planning on getting to their ship or trying to save the civilians being attacked, but either way I think it would be a good idea for us to split up! I'm going to head to the left most side of the docks and help who I can there before trying for the ship. I suggest you do the same but from the right, or not?
Do whatever you thinks best." Without waiting for a response she picked up speed and hurried ahead.

For a moment she was surprised that none of the Legion pirates were trying to get in her way, but then she realized it was because most of them were dead and the ones that weren't, were either out cold or incapable of fighting thanks to missing something to fight with. Not that they weren't capable of flinging insults and trying to rally other members to go and do the fighting for them. What was going on? Was there someone else taking care of the vandals? She didn't spend much time pondering the matter, not because it didn't interest her, but because she found an answer answering itself. @Shiyonichi Up ahead, Abbygail noticed a woman, but not just any woman. Before her was a woman that went through thugs like a stick skimming through clear waters. Instead of the gentle splash of waves she left screams and blood in her wake. The purple haired woman didn't know who she was, but she knew she liked her. Plus, her legs were't anything to laugh at. Her thighs looked like they could crush a walnut between them.

"Hey there!" Abbygail shouted as the woman took down two more guards. "Fancy some company?" She grinned as the weighted piece of steel appeared in her hand and she launched it passed the woman, towards one of the legion pirates that had climbed up onto the dock they were and was rushing towards the swordswoman. Although, that still left three more, but Abbygail didn't want to push it. A lot of the time, strong women took offense to being helped out too much.

@Noodles
"What the hell is that?" The man shouted as the woman's elbow seemed to explode before it fired toward shim like a cannon ball. Strangely enough, the man didn't think of death, or all the things he would've liked to do before the fist smashed into his steel helmet. Really, all that played through his mind, over and over again like a scratched record was the phrase. 'What's a rocket?' Then, the girl's fist slammed into his head, hard enough to send force directly into his skull, causing his brain to bounce around like a rubber ball through in a tiny room. Needless to say he went down afterwards.

"Hey!" The tavern owner called to the woman with the explosions. "I'm not sure if you're with the other ones fighting the legion pirates or not, but they're heading towards the docks. I'm not sure if they're crazy or not, but I know they're string. I really think they can put an end to the Legion pirates once and for all. Are you going to go help them?"

@KillBox

@jynmi88

Yeah. The Golden Fleece form is like... Luffy using Gear One/Two. The Full Transformation is, for me and the idea I had, Gear Third, and Hybrid would be Gear Fourth and beyond.

Since I'm going with a 'God'/ Astrology theme, I figured the hybrid form could be the god's true appearance, and the animal form is what he uses to get around, like Zeus and the Eagle he likes to use.

Oh okay. So for starting off your character will mostly be focused on the golden fleece form and the ram form?

So as far as a special ability for your mythological Zoan its mostly just going to be higher stats Ie strength, speed and minor healing?

Would you mind updating what we've discussed into your CS so I can get an idea on how the full thing would look?
@KillBox

@jynmi88

Oh. I didn't know that.

First Form is just Lee in human form. However, he can partially activate his his powers, going into the aforementioned 'Golden Fleece' form. Second Form would be the Golden Ram of Colchis, essentially a ram with a golden coat and horns. The Hybrid from would be the image provided.

Lee just uses the partial form most of the time, using the other two forms when absolutely necessary. For example, he would use the animal for to scale high mountains and places otherwise impossible for a regular human. The hybrid form he would use as a last resort as it is the hardest for him to control, due the Ares' reckless nature.

No problem. Nobody knows everything, or if they do they won't say on account of how stuck up they'd come off as.
Ah. Wait. So is the golden fleece form like a quarter transformation? I'm confused
Also, how come the hybrid form is harder to control than the fully transformed Ram state? Shouldn't the fully transformation be the hardest to control on account of it being when his fully immersed in the fruit's power?
@Crimson Lion@grandia20
Bill turned to face his cook and the stranger at the tavern, really face them, take everything in. With a sigh he lowered his head and looked at the dirt between his fingers. "No. I'm sorry. There's no need for you two apologize. Neither of you could've known. It's not like the Legion pirates come here often enough. If anyone's to blame it's me. I should've just left that one to drink till he got mad and laid my whole tavern to waste. It would've beat what's about to happen."

The man under the purple haired woman's hand slowly became still. She eased the pressure just enough to let him get a bit of air into his system, but not enough to let him regain any level of strength. "And exactly what," she said, turning her attention to Bill's conversation. "Is going to happen?"

"What?" Bill picked up a tiny pebble and tossed it at the black remains of his tavern. "Destroy the village. How?" Another stone. This one somehow managed to hit the one window not in pieces. It bounced off with a tink. "I'm not sure. All we know is they kept warning us not to make them really mad or they'd trap everyone here and crush us beneath their feet."

"Hmmm." Abbygail arched turned to the two men declaring their intent on stopping the legion pirates. "Well, I have nothing better to do so I'm definitely down to help you guys out." She smiled. "Only question is where do we go from here?"

"I don't know." Bill, William, the bartender, the tavern owner, shook his head. "Nobody knows where the legion pirates come from, only that they arrive like locus and nothing is as good after they're done."

"I wasn't talking to you." Abbygail said, releasing enough pressure on her prisoner's neck further. He coughed, and tried to sit up. She let him get a few inches off the ground before slamming him back down. "I'm talking to this guy, right here."

@Shiyonichi
"Individuality!" The two pirates barked in laughter. Their voices synced up so perfectly, an orchestra leader would be begging at their feet, had they the slightest bit of singing talent. "Individuality!" The said, the sounds that were there voices moved together in such a way that it was hard to believe that two people had actually just spoke. "What's that? We're all just products of the world around, ugly stones formed by the pressure of a thousand variables. What you call freedom, drive, it's nothing more than one domino moving after another." The two men's posture relaxed. "End us, you say? That's a laugh. You couldn't end us with the finest blades." They didn't bother to move as the swordsman turned her attention to the docks, only turned their heads in the direction she was focusing on.

One by one, new towers of smoke built their way towards the sky as the boats were lit on fire. More than smoke, screams filled the air. Men, women and children were kicked off the burning ships. Some were given the privileged of swimming for their lives. Most weren't even given that. The legion pirates who weren't busy igniting fires or holding keeping the owners from getting on board their ships, clung to the backs of the villagers, doing their best to pull them down into the warm ocean water.

@Noodles
The men watched with clenched rears as the stones they tossed sailed in the air towards the woman's head. The thing was, instead of her collapsing with blood pouring out of her skull, she went boom. It wasn't a big boom, but it was enough to crush their hopes. One The stones flew back towards the pirates, with one smashing into the pirate's head hard enough to crumple him into a heap. The other ducked.

Instinct told them the magnetic man to run. Passion told him to charge. The two forces hit and he found himself stuck in between them like Godzilla and Thor pushing a building towards each other. That is, until the woman's spear came into range. Behind his eyes, he saw himself, there standing with his arms raised during the charge. "I don't want to die!" He shouted at the top of his voice. His hands laced together and he brought his arms down, hoping to get the sniper in the back of the head. Then, he'd finish her when she was done. At least that's what he would've done had the woman actually charged instead of just tossing her spear. Instead, all he had time to do was squeak before everything went white.

The survivor hesitated for a moment before figuring he only lived once and jumped to his feet and charged.

@Crimson Lion@grandia20
"You really wanna know?" The legion pirate, # 101, said behind his steel. "Fine, I'll tell you. Just come closer."

Abbygail didn't come closer. Instead, she grabbed hold of the man's mask, her fingers digging into the steel, and yanked it backwards, hard enough to snap the straps that kept it in place, revealing a pale faced man with jet black hair and a beard that didn't seem capable of fitting inside the mask's limited area. His eyes were the color of Abbygail's steel and they were dancing with mirth. "You're a feisty one. I like that. " The pressure on his throat instantly tightened. "I'll tell you!" He wheezed. "Just ease up." The woman with the purple hair did, but only enough to let him talk. "You see the docks over there? How all the ships are being burned and all the passengers slayed or drowned? Well, there's a reason why that one big one isn't being touched."

The Legion pirate grinned up at Abbygail with brown teeth. He stopped when she hit him.
@KillBox

@jynmi88

Two million it is.

Well. I want him to look like the image I posted with his 'God Mode'. So, I guess he isn't fully the animal like Marco. He'd be closer to Lucci with his Leopard-Human hybrid. Like, long, scraggly beard, Ram horns, red fiery eyes and all that.

In terms of the powers, we'll work on those as he approaches awakening. Those are just some thoughts.

Okay, I think I see where I"m getting mixed up. All Zoans have at least three forms. The first is their regular human forms, which is self explanatory. The second is the form of whatever creature they received from the devil fruit they ate. The final form is called hybrid, and its what happens when the user only transforms halfway from their base form into whatever it is they ate. This is the state most Zoan type users use the most frequent.
What are the three forms of your character's zoan?
What is the full form of your fruit?
I think it would be possible for him to only have two, but it would fall under a paramecia instead of a zoan type DF
@KillBox

@jynmi88

So, I was kind of hesitant to make up that number by myself. I don't know what would be an appropriate scale for this RP, perhaps you can assign that to me? For that purpose, we can say that the government knows about his devil fruit.

In terms of his power, yes. I want that image to be how he looks in his awakened state. I haven't thought a whole lot into the awakened state yet since I don't plan on him awakening it for a while. But, if we must put a power to it, I suppose that there are a few things we can consider.

1. His skin becomes impervious to almost all physical damage (An extension of the Golden Fleece)
2. His attacks gain a fire element (From the zodiacs)
3. Heightened regeneration to the levels of healing any poison/disease within him and any cut/puncture wounds. Severed limbs and broken bones does not heal from this. ('God' theme)

I'd say a two million would work, because even though he's murdered before and has a strong devil fruit, he hasn't caused too much problems for the world government or shown them how much of a physical threat he is.

Oh no! Don't worry about the awakened state yet. There's plenty of time to work out the kinks on that. What I'm talking about is what the Ares full form is like when he transforms all the way like how Marco turned into a full bird or Lucci turned into a full panther. What exactly does Ares do that makes it mythical. Then, once that's figured out you can start working on his awakened state since it takes the regular abilities and increases them.
@KillBox

Ok Boys and Girls. I know I'm double posting but here are my answers to your concerns. I will be answering your points one by one and offer my solution if needed.

@Shiyonichi
1.I know that canonically, devil fruits all tasted awful. The taste profile of Lee's fruit tasted peachy to him, personally. To another, it might taste like week-old Chinese that have been left on the counter. If it still bothers you, I can change it.

2. Oh no no no. He is nowhere near those levels. He might be if, and that is currently a big if, he awakens his devil fruit. I can give examples of characters I based those level off of. In terms of hand to hand combat, he is like a pre-Vinsmoke'd Sanji. That is, he cannot use haki to augment his powers, but he is pretty damn good at it since it is his main, and most likely only, form of self-defense/combat. The subject of strength stems from that. He is in peak physical condition. That, to me, does not equate to peak 'strength'. Peak strength, in terms of the straw hats, would be the likes of Zoro and Luffy. Those two are also in peak physical condition as well. However, I'd personally consider the likes of Nami to be in peak physical condition since she can hold her own in the new world, even though she is not the strongest strength wise. So, with that in mind, Lee is in peak physical condition meaning he can withstand prolonged periods of hunger, has outstanding stamina akin to a marathon runner, has enough physical durability to shrug off some injuries/attacks, and can out-lift a NFL player.

3. This is also the hardest question for me to answer. I will try my best however. So, since he murdered everyone on his island, he is naturally out to seek atonement for that grave sin. His motive in joining a pirate crew is to avoid the government. They obviously found out that he killed all those people and want him arrested and most likely hanged for that crime. His way of atonement is more unclear. He believes that his captain, whoever that might be in this RP, can do good for the world. That his/her ambitions are noble and can perhaps in someway offer him the peace he has been seeking. Please, he is a fun loving person. Just because he is the strong-silent type doesn't mean he is against fun :P In terms of position, Zoro, while technically first mate, doesn't have a position either. Nor does Luffy care, really. They're all his friends, and thats all that matters. Matter of fact, I don't think One Piece takes the idea of position with a crew super seriously. There are times where it matters, but crew positions and the mentioning of them often stop after captain. In terms of aloofness and not being a part of the family, just because he is stoic doesn't mean he is against those things. He values family above all. I didn't explicitly write it out, but his background and upbringing have always revolved around honor and harmony. He will do whatever he can to uphold those.

And yes. LoL

@jynmi88

1. Yup.
2. I hope my explanation up there works for you~
3. Jimbe was also a character I had in mind while working on Lee~ I also think my explanation above explains his motives and the whole atonement issue.
4. The fruit itself did not impact his personality. His training in the monastery did. The training calmed his rambunctiousness. The fruit did the opposite and exaggerated it.

Now the devil fruit explanation.@Crimson Lion

His fruit would categorize into the Mythical Zoan type. In terms of a 'official' name, I guess Hito Hito no Mi, Model Aries, would work. Aries, in astrology, has the symbol of the Ram, and are often seen as headstrong, crass or reckless. his partial transformation would be his appearance image. Lee maintain much of his human form, however gaining a golden lining from his forearm down to his finger tips, his legs from the knees down to his feet and across his back as well. I'm using the Golden Fleece of the Winged Ram idea to justify this. His full transformation would turn him into the being that I have included as his 'God Mode'. His attacks in partial mode are essentially Luffy's Red Hawks. High speed punches/kicks that sparks fire with its friction. In 'God Mode', his attacks are simply stronger. While not strong enough to crack Busoshoku like Doflamingo's strings to Luffy, they'll definitely hurt.

Hopefully, this explains everything~

Ah I see. Well, those explanations do help a lot. At the moment I, myself, still have two things I'd like to clear up.
1. If the world government is after your character then he has to have a bounty. As for what that bounty is, I think the biggest variable would be if the world government knew he was using a legendary zoan type fruit.

2. I'm still a bit confused on what the fruit is, exactly. I get its supposed to be Ares, that's fine, but what does the god mode look like? Will you still be using it as your character's awakened state? Also, aside from sheer power is there a special ability that goes along with the fruit? I ask because mythical zoans, aside from being special creatures, always come with a unique ability. Would it be connected to the slight healing factor your character has?
@Shiyonichi@KillBox

Sorry if I come off as rude, but reading over KillBox's CS, I found quite a few more issues with it.

1. It contradicts canon. This is minor, but the show clearly stated stated that Devil fruits tastes awful not peachy. It's been shown with CP9 and Sabo when they ate their fruits.

2. Master hand to hand combatant and peak strength. There isn't enough context or explanation here, so the only the wording of master and peak makes me think of Yonko level or Pirate King level. Again with out any context that's basically all I can default to. Although a bit more explanation on the atonement thing is needed.

3. And this is the most important one. Why is he on the ship? His motive is atonement, but why does he need to be on a pirate ship for that? The thing with One Piece is that they need to have a goal or motive that can only be fulfilled by going out to sea, but his motive is so vague that I have no idea how it relates to it. Furthermore he has no position on the crew and his personality, cements the that he basically doesn't really fit into the crew. His personality of the strong silent type doesn't work for a group that's meant to be a like a family, and being aloof doesn't work for that and his lack of a position makes him feel like not a part of the ship at all.

Also is it just me or am I getting some serious Lee Sin vibes from this character?

In response to this points:
1. Maybe this is more subjective than objective? Remember the giraffe guy admitted to liking the taste.
2. I agree with this. I don't mean that its increasing his abilities to those levels, because I thought it was more like Deku's full cowling and was just a boost in physical abilities, but its definitely kind of vague. So more information is needed.
3. These I'm not TOO worried about, yes they can be an issue but its a possibility more than a certainty, because he strikes me as similar to Jimbe, whom still technically doesn't have a position in the crew but as proven himself capable behind the wheel. As for the aloofness, most characters like that only begin as aloof but then they grow over time. As for how his atonement works, I do agree we need more details on how it could be accomplished with going over seas and joining a pirate crew.
4. Really, the main issues I have, aside from #2 is I'm not quiet sure why it is his devil fruit had such impacts on his personality, because other than Chopper's monster point we haven't seen a fruit impact someone like that. Also, while on the subject of devil fruits, since its a mythical zoan what are its full transformations and partial transformations? I get the god is an awakened form but for it to be a mythical it should till be able to allow for the two regular states.
@KillBox

@Crimson Lion@jynmi88

To classify it into the canon archetypes, it would be a mythical-zoan. Similar to Sengoku's.

I don't mind a mythical zoan being used, but I would still like an actual description of the fruit he ate along with its core abilities and what kind of mythical creature its supposed to be.
