"Well, thanks mate." I said, walking beside this new fellow who looked like he was some athlete. At this point, I was rather calm and just trying to detach myself from the previous situation. Of course I felt sorry for him, but in the end I had to defend myself. Zephyre laws would probably back me up on that, though considering my only witness also happened to be an accessory to this...

I stopped thinking about it. Really, it was beginning to drag on. Me and Palythus (I'm pretty sure that's a typo, but I don't know for sure) kept walking into the plaza, brushing past more and more people of this city. It seemed as if everyone was simultaneously aware and unaware of what we had just done earlier. Palythus seemed to be sweating under his tracksuit of sorts, something you probably wouldn't want to wear when there are barely any clouds up here and the sun offers skin cancers. Either way, I was really only supposed to be getting some gear for the journey down to Gaia. Maybe it was a wasteland down there, maybe there would actually be some clouds to protect me.

Eventually, after keeping an eye out for any Knights of Balance fanatics, we made it to the front to the front of some darkened store, selling all sorts of accessories for stuff like hiking. It was unsurprisingly popular for the more adventurous citizens of Zephyre. Palythus continued looking around for something while I was about to enter the store, when he asked me a question about the person I faced earlier. "I... don't actually know." I said, turning to the dragon and moving to the right of the doorway so a gryphon could exit. I made sure not to speak until I was sure no one else was coming through, leaning against the wall of the store. "The guy was a Knights of Balance member. Basically a bunch of gang members." I spoke, thinking about past interactions with those people. "They're racists if anything, spending all day harassing people like myself. For some reason-" I chuckled, almost trying to distract myself. "They managed to convince every nation in Gaia that they were some police force, 'guardians against the darkness.' They were recently given powers to start detaining and questioning those who seemed to have affiliations with more questionable elements, like darkness." I grew worried because I think I had just implied I wasn't exactly a good guy here to Palythus. "Paly, I used to be harassed by those people. Now, they're looking to kill me simply because I look black. Let's just try avoiding eye contact with them from here on out, alright?"
I was actually somewhat disturbed by the apparent enthusiasm of everyone as they started to rip apart the wolf, as if he was someone they all hated. I couldn't complain though, since we were nearly killed by those buggers. I waited for my knife to reappear in my palm, slipping the rest back into my pocket while rubbing my forehead. I felt almost sick from my transformation, dazed even after the fight. It was nice to see the wolves no longer writhing, but I ended up feeling like I had just downed a whole bottle of wine or something. There was definitely a smell of blood in the air, almost a mist in this partially lit cave. Backstabs was alive but basically smeared with that stuff, and I hate to imagine the sort of infection she may get from those rabid wolves. "Well then... for all those unaware, it's me, Miles. I believe we have a ninja to catch, the next time we meet with him anyway." I said with a bit of annoyance. I shifted rather uncomfortably as I felt as if everyone was still treating me suspiciously, which was probably the case given Robert's position. "I don't believe we're gonna get much loot from those things, and we'd probably need to head back to camp given our thief's condition."
The Barboach was quickly put down, and I felt a bit relieved when we seemed to be controlling the current situation. "Who the fu-" My expression turned to shock when I was faced with a barrelling ball of fire, steadying myself and bracing for impact. Even Daniel was surprised by the Pokemon's sudden blood-lust, unable to catch up to the Arcanine.

I can still remember the impact of that attack. I felt an implosion of sorts on my entire body, having the wind knocked out of me as my vision went dark. One of my magnets threw flew into the sky and down, knocked off my body. A wicked cackle of embers followed afterwards, as I did a backwards somersault into the air, making a whistling noise through the blizzard. After experiencing slow motion and an endless amount of time in the air, I slammed onto a rough patch of snow. Unresponsive and still, I'd imagine. I felt both hot and cold afterwards, like I had a fever or something.

Annoyingly, I was still alive. Back then I was, but now... not really. I ended up spluttering bits of metal fillings from my eyes, rubbing the rest away. I looked back to see the Arcanine in its frenzy state, while I was dazed and trying to refocus my vision. To my left, I noticed my magnet which had landed on a small bundle of broken branches. "Arceus... damn it..." I took a few deep breaths as I reattached my magnet back to my body, making myself inconspicuous in the blizzard.
Gonna need Sumable to post, otherwise I'll be double-posting (my last post is obscured, on the previous page at the bottom).

I'm gonna post relative to Sumable until our group finally forms somewhere on Gaia.
Also, anyone else notice how the most horrible things always happen to zubats in this RP? Kinda weird, huh?

Pent-up rage does a lot of things, Lugia.
"Oh, that's really damned!" As if saying damn once wasn't enough, I had to say it again: one of the wolves had leaped right onto our resident thief and rip out her jugular vein. That HAD to be painful, if not lethal. Blood sprayed a bit, but I looked above to focus on the wolf instead. I took a deep breath and flicked a knife in-between my fingers, not even taking position as I hastily did a quick throw at the thing. I nearly tripped up after that throw, the sound of shoes grinding against the floor of the cave. However, I was lucky enough to have that knife embed itself into the remaining wolf's leg, albeit at an odd angle. I was starting to get a hang of my new form, luckily enough.
Kabling... you did it wrong... Defense is from the STAmod, not the ENDmod... END is generally just used to measure HP, and the wolf has 6 defense, not 4. That being said, you dealt 11 original damage, not 10, so, the wolf should have taken 5 damage.
The wolf is at 20/50 HP, now.

Don't be so brash. I missed a few rolls and this is the first time I've encountered a RP with dice rolls.
Errr post did not get out in OOC... Anyway, I rolled a 10. In dex I failed to save Backstab but here is the joke...

In INT check I succeeded.

Smart troll ninja?

"Your bandages fall off the goblin's arms, but enough persuasion of 'DON'T DIE ON ME DAMN IT' is enough to keep Backstabs from bleeding out." -Me, if I were to describe this. Which I did.

So, some dice rolls, I guess:

ATTACK:
'Hit?'
Miles: 1d20 -
Wolf: 1d20 -

'Damage?'
Miles vs Wolf: 1d6; 4 + 6AGImod = 10 dmg
Wolf Health: 10 - 4ENDmod = 6 dmg

I'll do this later, 'cause I forgot the stats from my rolls with Lugia.
Good news: Study leave, therefore lots of free time and a technical start to my holidays.

Bad news: Exams. First one in 5 days or so, and exams ends by 1st of December.
"Lads, it's me! I don't know what's with myself, though." I yelled out, clearing a few things up when Robert announced he'd be fighting a Drake afterwards. I didn't really like Drakes either, but not so much as killing them. No, my opinion wasn't changed from this transformation. Either way, I acted quickly, siding myself with the others almost awkwardly before taking out a knife or two from my pockets.

Thing was, I still wasn't used to being a drake. I ended up dropping of my knives, the thing clattering on the cave floor before instantly reappearing in-between two of my fingers. Stupidly, I dropped it once more before having an actual grasp with the damn thing, standing straight and taking aim at any old wolf around the cave. I didn't anticipate the fact that when throwing my knife, it didn't seem to go as where I intended, and instead brushed past the wolf's fur to my surprise. "Damn it." I still wasn't used to my body, releasing too early and just above the wolf. This wasn't going to be an easy fight.
