Trying to power through my cold. This happens just about every holiday break, now that I think about it.

Definitely know that feeling.

I know my family's probably surprised by the fact I'm not sick in this summer break.
Oh, right.

I'll get onto it tomorrow.
So continuing on with a mixed reception, I assumed that many of the people around here were... well, they had never seen a slime before. It's been a while since I last talked sense, right? "What, you haven't seen a slime before in your lives? Amateurs. My name's Vermont, surname Orwell." I said, smirking and finally attaining a still form. No longer was I forming ripples and making myself look like a disturbed individual. Considering barely anyone's faces were moving like they had been frozen for months, I looked at the phoenix who seemed to be the boss of the group and ended up agreeing at his decision with hesitation. I was a foreigner around these lands and would likely need a guide... only God knew what poisonous and deadly beasts roamed around Gaia. Seriously, with all these plants and dirt, I'm surprised we hadn't been tackled by some giant snake yet. The ambience around here was creepy, being quiet and not as mechanical as Zephyre...

Did I forget the overwhelming sense of awkwardness? Seems as if I accidentally dropped down to a rag-tag... bunch of rats. Things felt rather edgy when we were all confronted by some mad-man of the group, and the fact he pointed out how by chance supposedly everyone met each other by falling out of the sky. "Well then. Our entrance wasn't original, but at least we have the excuse of a giant city above our heads." I looked up into the sky, but it seemed as if Zephyre was the size of fly. I didn't know we were that far up from the ground... for the time being, I didn't really need a cloud over my head - this place had plenty of shade and was misty enough to shield against the sun. "Uh, anyone willing to be a guide around here?"

Okay, quoting from Lugia here:
'Probably tell you that they saw a suspicious troll run off with an egg... while also informing you that they don't stoop so low as to steal eggs, themselves. I dunno.'

That's for me and @Eklispe

...yes, editing a mention in your post does not work. At least it makes my post look better.
So, er... this is where things started to get quite rough. Never before had I felt so threatened in my life - Kobold guards and patrons I could handle, but dragons... I suppose they'd take it easy on a Drake. I suppose. I inched closer and closer to the party of black dragons, whom they contrasted heavily against the bright and dry landscape. One of them noticed me and scoffed almost, making me stop in my tracks. Knowing Dorisma probably wouldn't settle on being defeated on mere intimidation, I went against all my senses as I started walking with pride and my chest out, even if I barely had one as a weak Drake.

It helped they continued with their business as I got closer, brushing me off as some messenger or apprentice studying the lands or something. I wasn't fearful for my life because I knew I had two back-up plans: my party members or running. The latter seemed admittedly favourable as I got within talking distance of the dragons, who seemed to be chilling on some rough boulders and munching on oversized fruits. "Evening dragons-"

"Whaddya want, kid?" One of them unexpectedly spoke out, an odd chap who seemed to have a large scar on his neck. I was taken back but decided to listen to the dragon, who didn't seem (explicitly) hostile. "So, you lads seen an odd egg lately? The constabulary's looking all around the stronghold, but goodness... my friend's desperately looking for her baby back. It was kidnapped." Okay, I told a lie and went through with it. However, the people we were dealing with were DANGEROUS. According to Trey, these people were gangsters... I had to get to them somehow, and it didn't seem as if violence was an option. Maybe talking it through would get these guys to open up, assuming if one of their own had taken it. "She's absolutely heart-broken and has been crying all day, but we can't find it anywhere in the stronghold. Does anyone here have any thoughts on who might've taken it? My other friend here hasn't had sleep for days-"

I ended up gesturing behind my back for Dorisma to act tired, with two fingers and a hand falling flat - as stupid as it was, I needed to go overkill on just about anything for information, considering how scarce the outskirts of the stronghold were. For all we knew these dragons did in fact have the egg, just behind their backs or something.

"-and I've had to hold off my studies for days now. So, guys... can you do anything about it?" I finished my speech, feigning sadness and despair that was soon replaced with real feelings. I was reminded on how I was gambled away, with no one working as hard as myself to reunite me with my mother. This egg was definitely going to grow up well, because unlike myself at the time there were people looking out for it before it was even hatched. I nearly sobbed but I held back tears, because I didn't want to seem like I was patronising the story I made up.

In the end, I got a range of faces: one dragon was staring at me, the other was looking left and right quickly, and another was trying to find something to say but decided to stay silent. Hopefully we would actually get something out of these dragons.
Spruce seemed to become as determined as Anthony, because I didn't hear him shouting for ages when it came to leaving a place. I just shrugged my magnets to rub off ice as I began following their lead, floating meekly since I hadn't healed properly from last night. "Anyone got any food or anything like that? I feel terrible right now." I asked, as we began walking to the outskirts of the lost town. My body tensed up against a quick change of climate, metal expanding and reopening some old wounds from last night. It didn't help my weakly glowing scar also seemed to give off a bit of pain, finally causing me to collapse once more and dunk right onto the rough dirt. "Argh... Arceus..." I said, propping myself up with my magnetic claws and trying to float again, trembling with large amounts of pain. Metal scabs on my body compacted right into the wounds, as if someone just drove knives into me. "Okay... okay..." I had laboured breathing but I continued onwards, too stubborn to accept help. It seemed as if the purple scar was trying to influence my decisions once more as I moved forwards, only to limp in silence and trundling against Spruce. "Arceus damn it... apologies Spruce, I'm not really at the peak of my health." His words earlier grated at me, while all I could do was leer at the looming tower of fire and metal. Everything about this new place was wrong, a literal Hell for me...

@KaBling OK. Whatever makes you feel comfortable.
But I am a bit confused as to who you mean when you say "Orange Dude"... DX

Orange soul in human form.

Anyway, back to work on my application.

@KaBling Ooh, Now I'm kinda curious how you're going to work with the Orange Soul (since we don't know what happened to the six human souls after the events of Undertale). XD

Yeah, about that...

I've already decided on another character. To be honest, I didn't even know about that Orange dude until I actually played Undertale.
