@BCTheEntity Oh yeah, she'd have hearing too. No touch-y, sniff-y, or taste-y though. No Lapi either, since they don't have any "stamina." Of course, the trade off would be pretty good. Less places to hit, no pain, and immunity to blinding/poison/etc. since there are no organs to attack.

As for the soul regeneration, I'd be open to the idea, but it'd have to be at a slower rate than one can produce skeletons on average.

And as for the being under the King, I was actually thinking of her being under the Glanz, but I think I like the idea of a Glanz commander being reanimated and being so grateful they switch sides or something like that.

@Footman Pretty cool! Thanks for contributing so much. I oughta describe the Mountain Tengu more in Hiro's Other section.
@BCTheEntity Well I wanted to have a character that was a sentient knight who was brought back from the dead consciousness and a voice, but no flesh or senses beyond sight. Something like that would require a lapis in or on the skeleton, binding the souls there, at least, to keep it from being OP.

Of course, there could also be a Lapis that just animates corpses, gives them an artificial soul or maybe just restores all their organs but leaves them as soulless husks without any intelligence beyond following orders. As for corrupting influence; I think you'd already have to be pretty corrupt to disrespect the dead so heavily. I'll say no, the necromancy has no negative mental effects, but will wear on the user physical the more he abuses the Lapi.

EDIT: Oh shit I just thought of something cool. Okay so Demons can't master Lapi, and that's because they have no souls, and souls are what allows a person to master and shape lapi. Maybe every time you use a necromancy spell, you have to break off a piece of your own soul to place in the cadaver. Using it too much makes it harder, and eventually impossible, to master and manipulate Lapi. Of course, that's just a thought.
@Pathfinder I'd suggest joining up with the Thieve's Guild instead, but I won't stop you from making a mercenary. You would definitely be the only one though, we've already got like 15 spots to fill.
@BCTheEntity Actually, that sounds friggin' awesome! And also that Lapi validates my assumption that there could totally be a Lapi that forces a soul back into a body for sweet skeleton knight action.

EDIT: Oh, and there are derivatives of elves, but it's just by region, a cultural and skin pigment thing.

@Footman Yup! In fact, you've just given me an idea on how passive Lapi work. They aren't passive, just really long buffs, so you can prepare them before battle, at the cost of lower stamina.
Milo's ecstasy quickly dropped off as he registered Nick's confusion. It was a particularly straightforward request, maybe this man wasn't as smart as once thought. His mention of nightstands confirmed he knew not the power he wielded, but at the mention of sunlight, Milo was on edge. The man reeled back and breathed in, before launching an attack. His entire fist was covered in some bizarre lightning, and, although Milo dodged, his confusion left him a little more open. Luckily, jets of blood exploded from his legs, flinging him back far enough to avoid the strike. From where it almost hit him, he could feel it. The distinctive feeling of a UV ray. This man wielded the power of the sun.

"Bound Stand- or was it Integrated?" He asked aloud, on guard, but still wrapped up in his own mind. "Either way, you don't seem to know what that is. A 「STAND」. An extension of one's self. Or so they say." Milo explained, sure of the information he had gathered. He spun 「HEART OF GLASS」 Around on his finger, feigning lackadaisy. "This glass box is one too, 「HEART OF GLASS」. It refuses to obey me, but I know it is powerful. You will help me unlock it, so I can destroy my father."

As Milo explained himself, he heard something outside, close to the hideout. It sounded odd, like something had suddenly caught fire, and he heard shouts. But he was sure it was nothing, this was a gang street, and though the Kaisers put on a good act, they had some bad apples. Must have. Still, Milo stayed on guard from all sides, ready to dodge the stand user or any others that would join the fray.
@iHxzardx Sure, though there's a trade off. You won't be able to use many Lapi if you've spent your whole life focusing on sword fighting.
@iHxzardx Well if it has a huge effect and strain, about the size of a tennis ball, slightly less. Most is about as big as a golf ball though.
@iHxzardx No it drains your stamina, not your health. Abusing your lapi can lead to health issues, but in general it makes you more tired. I was thinking of a way to implement passive Lapi, but I'll have to workshop the idea.
@Sovi3t Although a spy would be very hard to play well, if you truly believe you can pull it off, I say go for it.

EDIT: Just finally got that Sample character in place. If you're unsure what characters can be like, take a look at him. He shall show you the way of the penguin.
@Delta44 Thanks! I look forward to having you in my game.

@Kafka Komedy than I shall be Glanz Queen

Cool. Just one caveat though: She has to be at least fine with working with evil people. This story wouldn't really work otherwise.

Another foreword, that character created could truly be in any of the three factions, though I'd have to stretch a bit and work with the King to put him in Perinne. With that in mind, I'm rescinding my reservation on the Thieve's Guild, so there's another spot there open now.
