Shadow said as he left her side to find the bandages that he left around. he found them near the bed and started to patch up his wounds. when he was done he walked back to Aery and sat down. he handed her his water and said " here you should drink this its just water"

Shadow snapped awake in seconds. he felt that something was wrong. he looked around and then felt his person. he found all his equipment and the shook his head. he wondered why it felt wrong but for now he just stood up and walked around to see if someone was missing or dead. when he found nothing he finally figured out what was wrong. he had no primary goal to drive him anymore. he sat down to think of a new goal and heard people inside talking. he sighed and then waited for them to come out so he could either tell them he was leaving or join them he just didn't know yet. he made up his mind and walked off to the edge of the city and grabbed his horse. he mounted the creature and then sat there to wait for them to show up so he could say that he needed to go and find a new goal to drive him. he wondered what Ansel was going to do. she might be the only one that could train him to be a lot better that he was right now.

Shadow sat outside cleaning the weapons that he owned. he polished the swords to make sure that the poison would be able to act quickly. he never let his weapons fall out of repair since that would mean his death if he couldn't use his weapons to full effect. he had a few ideas of what he would do today but that all required help and so far the others were still sleeping. he wanted to start working on training with his magic that his parents tried to teach him but never got it completed. he wondered when ansel would get up since she seemed the most likely able to train him in magic.

for now. magic is the only reason that she was able to beat him. but soon he will figure out how to tap into his own magic and be able to cancel her powers out agains him. he will then need some training if he ever wants to be able to use his natural magic but he might not want that yet.
