『 "you deserve to be, the person you were meant to be, even if it's more than one." 』
▄W h y a r e y o u a t S p r i n g H i l l ? ✗ Pathological Liar ✗ Suicide Attempts ✗ However, if you were to ask Anahita herself, she would have diagnosed herself with 90% of the disorders explained in the DSM-5. Anahita's lies were getting so involved and convoluted that her employer required her to seek counseling after Anahita's recent behavior. ▄R e s i d e n c y Anahita has been at Spring Hill for about 6 months now. ▄N e g a t i v e E f f e c t s Anahita is currently on several different medications(sometimes upon her request.) They started with some mild isolated itching and rashes, which eventually escalated to full body rashes and hives. After Anahita went around making sure everyone knew about her rashes and their location, she was given a different medication; while her rashes diminished, Anahita was experiencing constant fevers. Eventually, Anahita's body was no longer able to maintain its normal body temperature, spiking randomly. By her sixth month, while her apetite hadn't changed, Anahita also suffered significant weight loss. ▄P o s i t i v e E f f e c t s Anahita's current medications have actually helped her with her impulsive and obsessive need to lie. Now, Anahita was able to stick to a lie and perfect it, rather than continuously blur the line of fact and fiction with random lies that eventually contradicted each other. [ Mirror Mirror | The ability to project an image of herself dependent on what lies she's spun. Think of it as shapeshifting without Anahita's body actually changing. Anahita would be able to lie herself into another person, thing or animal and the person speaking to her (from their perspective) will begin to see said person, thing or animal. However, if the person is aware that Anahita is lying, then nothing happens. ] ▄P e r s o n a l i t y | Creative | Placid | Emotional | - - | Selfish | Irrational | Complicated | Empty Slate | The inside of Anahita's mind most likely resemble's that of an RPG game's character selection screen, except with backstories and personalities. Anahita, for as long as she could remember, has been altering her sense of self to fit a situation or person to a complete extreme. One moment she could be the most extroverted girl on earth, who loves skiing and then the next moment you have her as a struggling guitarist with anger management issues. Anahita is an empty Etch-a-Sketch that recycles personalities as she sees fit. Unfortunately, that coupled with her impulsive (and unecessary) lying, has forced Anahita to a life of solitude since no one has ever felt comfortable enough with her to be constantly around with her. ▄B i o g r a p h y Anahita had been standing on the ledge of her work place's roof for three reasons: First, the view the height offered had a romantic feel to it. It was your usual city scene, building upon building all neatly stacked up in a line. But the sunlight peeking through the space between the buildings allowed the view to look more majestic. Second, the breeze running through her hair was soothing. And unnecessarily strong; Anahita had to make sure her footing was correct at all times to avoid any untimely slipping. But she knew the image of her hair flowing in the wind at the moment was as dramatic as it could get. The third reason was simple; Anahita had lied (again). It was the middle of the day on a week day but instead of answering phones by her desk, Anahita spent most of it on the roof experiencing her first ever suicidal attempt. She wasn't planning on doing any of the sort, it hadn't crossed her mind at all until she had overheard her coworkers talking about her behind her back. She figured telling them that her therapist (fake) had told her that she would amount to nothing (fake) and is better off dead (fake) wasn't the best decision. And following that with her telling them she owns a greeting cards business (she wishes) in Paris was not the best move--she should've waited a day or two to dish that one out for sure. Instead, her coworkers reported her to the HR department, and she's being accused of lying. Which, to be fair, she was but it had been necessary. There was no other choice, how else was she going to convince her manager that she had called out that week if not for her (false) crippling depression? But now, in order to make sure the story sticks, Anahita is on the ledge of the roof, waiting for the crowd to flock to her so she may start her soliloquy. Anahita grew up in a seemingly normal household as an only child. Her parents, however, were obsessed with their image and were always trying to portray a specific image of their family. Their life consisted of a big check list-- Married? check. House? check. Child? check. Once Anahita entered their lives, they had to make sure Anahita herself was the depiction of a perfect baby. Anahita wasn't allowed to be anything but what they needed her to be. Because of this, Anahita has never had a sense of self and the growth of her personality was stunted before it even had a chance to bloom. Anahita was the perfect daughter for whatever the situation required her to be. She managed perfect grades until her mother no longer wanted a daughter that behaved too well. She became an artistic daughter until her father wanted to be known for his patience for caring for a daughter that had fallen to addiction. While Anahita is none the wiser, the fact that she was her parent's play-doh doll has paved the road to her lying. Lying has always been in her nature; the more immersive her requested personas were getting, the more lost the real Anahita was becoming. While in school, especially since her parents weren't around to dictate her personality, she was left to her own devices. Unfortunately, this meant that Anahita had no idea as to how she was supposed to behave, which, in turn, caused her to become the odd one out in class early on. She became an easy target for sneers, teasing, and later on escalating to bullying. The only thing Anahita knew how to do was to be somebody else. While on the school bathroom floor, nursing a swollen lip and black eye, Anahita realized that's all she had to do. Next day came, instead of being the victim, she became the opposite--the bully. She bluffed and lied her way through situations and eventually managed to get through high school and college unscathed. Her lying progressively got worse and became something she could no longer control. She knew she was lying, she just didn't know how to stop. But now that she's on the roof, a few steps away from jumping, she realized that she truly has a problem that should probably be addressed. And as if on queue, her boss bursts through the doors and through the crowd, dragging her off the ledge. | 【 Name 】 ____________________Anahita Diaz 【 Appearance 】 ____________________Anahita is a whopping 5'3" tall and that seemed to be the only thing about her appearance that hasn't changed since arriving at Spring Hill.
