@Ace of flames01 Before I make a post in the IC, can anyone give me a quick run-down of what's going on? I'd read the lot and catch up but I've also got a psychology essay to work on for tomorrow morning.

Weapon: Wraith Blade

Wraith blades are ethereal weapons shifting in and out of existence as they slice through the air. Whilst they can't damage flesh in a conventional sense they strike at something much more important, a creatures soul or animus. A blow from a wraith blade scars and weakens this life force and if a blow is particularly wounding it will kill a creature outright. Wraith blades can be blocked by weapons and armour however, despite their ethereal nature, and can likewise block attacks from physical weapons. This happens because when the blade is used in an attack it shifts into a solid existent state in order to actually deliver damage or to block an attack.

Personality: Livia is generally a quiet person, she keeps to herself most of the time. Other than those she works for she is an enigma to all and that's how she likes it.

History: Once a promising warrior Livia was killed in battle many centuries ago. She was fighting atop a fortress wall when she was knocked clear off the wall and onto the pikes and spears of her comrades below.

Since then she has become a vengeful spirit of immense intelligence and considerable ability. She has sworn herself to the service of the Dark King in the hope of finding some purpose to her perpetual existence. When she isn't on assignment she can typically be found training the warriors and agents that serve the children of the Darkness. With centuries of military experience at her disposal she is a powerful adversary, especially when this is combined with her innate abilities. She often uses her magic to close with her target and then relies upon her incorporeal form to advance undaunted by the pitiful strikes of her enemy, before final delivering a single killing blow.

Her shadowy form is almost constantly shifting, at least on the outside. Whilst her flowing robes are constantly in flux she still possesses the beautiful visage she did in life. However, she keeps this hidden away so that she isn't reminded of what she once was.

Her voice even when speaking loudly sounds like a sinister whisper, and her words seem to come from a chorus of whispering voices instead of one distinct place.

@Ace of flames01 That's a real nice spin on it I like that. So if a blow does hit home it'll do more damage and it'll still be lethal if it hits something like the heart or severs an artery.

Alright if add that amendment to the weapon section am I all good?

@Ace of flames01 Wraiths are just vengeful spirits they're similar to reapers, but whilst reapers are typically a cause of death a wraith is just drawn to a death. They tend to act as sign of death to come or arrive after a death has occurred.

However, they're still incorporeal. Your description of a reaper suggested they could be touched, wraiths are still spirits and can't be touched except with magical items or by other spirits.

The weapon I'm not sure how to work with it really, lore maintains that wraiths wield ghostly blades that can still trike mortal men low. How do you recommend incorporating that without making it too powerful?
