Salutations and Felicitations!

As my title alludes to I'm a student. I'm currently studying for my BA in History and Ancient History. I love diving into lore be it that of the past, or whether it be the brilliant product of the human imagination.

But just as fun I find is picking lore apart and making something new with it, and that's what draws me to good role-plays. Those little references shaped into new forms are really what helps to keep me hooked, just as much as good writing.

This sounds very interesting, I've only a passing understanding of the Dark Souls lore, but this seems to draw a lot on the Lovecraftian Mythos which I know a bit more about if that would suffice.

Like @Lady Selune said, when would this be set @ribcageroses? I love the idea and I've got a few characters knocking about, but I don't know which would be the best without the time period.
How's that? Tried to polish things up a bit, but knowing me I've probably missed something.

The City of White Marble

The year is 443 PSE, the people's of the world are united, or so they seem. Over much of the world the nations of old have put aside their differences in order to once and for all rid themselves of the scourge that struck them down all those years ago. Mages.

443 years ago, the great and terrible sundering occurred. The warriors of 5 kingdoms some 300,000 warriors under arms, marched upon The White Marble City, the final bastion of Magekind. It should've led to a swift victory, the utter annihilation of that which they all feared. But it was not to be. The warriors were scattered to the four winds and never seen again.

Since then, the old nations of the world have bided their time, rebuilding their armies, regaining their courage. But their ancient enemies haven't been idle during that time, and The White Marble City and its people stand ready to defend their desert home.

I've got a little more written up and ready to go if people show interest or are simply curious. (This is an old 1X1 plot of mine that I'm trying on a larger scale). I'm looking for a smallish group of about 3-4. We'd be reprising the role of either Mages living within The City of White Marble or that of one of the soldiers sent to destroy it once and for all.
@Azure Sea I was the GM of my last game and he was meant to be a senior student leading some 1st years at Atlas academy. I felt it suited him to be quite powerful what with Atlas being a military kingdom. But I can tone him down so that he's more in line with what you need, just tell me what needs altering.
Found it! I know it'll take some editing to fit with what you've got in mind but I hope the broad strokes are alright?

I'll see if I can dig him out, might take a while to find him but if not I remember a lot of his sheet anyway. Shall I just post his CS here once I either find the old one or re-write it?
I'd definitely be up for this if you get things going. I've tried to take part in quite a few RWBY rp's in the past but they always fizzled out. Hopefully I can reuse my old character?
