Karako darted around carefully and quietly, doing her absolute best to not be spotted. Ground combat wasn't her thing. She preferred to be in a mobile suit, dealing with other mobile suits, vehicles, sentient machines, whatever was thrown her way. There was a certain vulnerability to running around with a rifle and it left her uncomfortable. Sure, she was capable of defending herself but she didn't have to like it.

She could hear other suits around as she reached the hangars. She couldn't see any from where she was but she wasn't about to wait around for them to show up. Karako bolted into one of the buildings, scanning the rows of GM units and others' personal suits. Her shiki didn't seem to be in this particular hangar so she peered out the door and then made a break for the next one.

A shadow went over Karako as a suit flew by so she quickened her pace to a sprint. This one have been easier with one huge hangar on-site. As she reached the door, the shadow reappared followed by a burst of beam rifle fire. Karako cursed under her breath as several impact explosions erupted on the ground, each one getting closer and closer to her. She kicked the door open and dove in, avoiding being pulverized by a beam rifle shot. Someone sure didn't have any idea of fairness.

Quickly scanning the hangar, Karako spotted her personal Hyaku shiki suit and wasted no time bolting up the stairs and onto the catwalk leading to the suit's cockpit. The hangar rattled as the suit outside landed nearby. Karako quickly got into the Demon Shiki and powered it up. The red mono-eye lit up and scanned the hangar. The suit's viewscreens lit up and dimmed as the image of the hangar interior came into view.

"Alright, you son of a bitch, let's see you take me on in this." Karako smirked.

As if on cue, the roof of the hangar was peeled up as if were the top of a can of sardines. Again the hangar rattled. The other suit peered inside, scanning the various mobile suits inside. Karako raised the shiki's beam rifle and shot the other suit's head off.

"It wouldn't have killed you to wait for me to get out, asshole..." she muttered.

Karako switched on her comm link and fussed around with the various controls.

"This is Lieutenant Karako. If anyone is out there and gives a damn, given the situation, I am deploying the MSN-00100 Demon Shiki at my own discretion." Karako waited in case anyone had stuck around at the control center and had orders. All was silent. "Alright. If there are any friendlies out there listening, let's light a fire under their asses!"

The metallic purple mobile suit stepped forward, breaking through the catwalk. Karako uttered an unenthused "whoops" and continued toward the large sliding doors ahead. She pressed a button on the control panel and the automatic doors opened. Karako fired up the suit's thrusters and took off for a better vantage point.
A young cadet stood nervously before an office desk as an older, cranberry-haired woman in a violet and black EF Lieutenant's uniform. She furrowed her brows as she skimmed over a few pages on clipboard, reclining in her chair. The cadet was doing his best to maintain his composure and proper military posture as the Lieutenant looked over the report he had handed her just moments ago. The woman gave an exasperated sigh, flipping back and forth between two pages with one eyebrow raised. Finally she just tossed the clipboard back on her desk and rubbed her temples.

"You know, this is what I hate about those assholes running the show here." She said, "They give me this report which is basically a glorified receipt and expect me to give a damn. I am an instructor. I am not here to give a shit about damage costs and I know they probably don't give a shit either seeing as their boys do far worse with those fancier suits."

The cadet gulped and stared straight ahead. He was expecting to be reamed judging by her reaction to the damage report. He'd lost control of his GM during an exercise and had taken out a corner of a nearby suit hangar. The Lieutenant before him was his instructor.

The woman let out another sigh before leaning forward in her chair, resting her elbows on the desk and peering over her folded hands. There was no fooling her. She could see he was a nervous wreck about the ordeal.

"Well, Louis. What are we gonna do with you?" She said.

"I was told I was to be suspended as punishment, Lieutenant Karako."

"And who told you that?"

"Bask Om, ma'am."

Karako let out a long sigh.

"That son of a bitch...Tell him that if I was a Mathematician I'd give a shit about pages of numbers. As an instructor, that crap is not my area. I am here to make sure the suits are operated correctly and the people I put in them are safe. You're still here so I did my job."

"You really want me to tell him that?" Louis asked.

"No. Tell him I said to not bother with reports unless they are actual reports."

"What about the suspension? How long will I be out?"

"Well, do you still want to pilot or did the little crash scare you out of it?"

"No, ma'am. I still want to pilot."

"And are you alright to pilot next exercise?"

"I'm still a little shaken up but I could still pilot, no problem."

"Then you're not suspended. Shit happens. The GM you were piloting had a short in the systems responsible for the thrusters. I'd be an asshole if I suspended you for something the mechanics should have checked out beforehand."

"But Bask said.."

"Tell him if he has a problem with that, we can have another loooong, pointless talk that goes absolutely nowhere."

"Yes, ma'am. Thank you, ma'am."

Karako went back to reclining in her chair, still annoyed with the Titans trying to tell her how to do her job. She'd been instructing for a few years. She knew what she was doing. Cadet Louis took the clipboard and turned to leave.

"Oh and stop being so damn scared of me. I'm here to make sure you kids don't kill yourselves in those machines. The worst I could do is tell you you're doing something wrong. And cuss a lot. I don't believe in that slapping "correction" bullshit they're trying to enforce."

She could see the relief wash over the cadet's face as he nodded. However, the light-hearted moment was inturrupted by the ground shaking from the force of an explosion. Louis shielded himself with the clipboard out of reflex. Karako jumped out of her chair.

"What the hell?!" She yelled.

"An explosion?!"

"No shit. You go and catch up with your classmates. I'll be there to help with evac shortly."

Louis nodded and ran while Karako peered between the blinds of her office window. She scanned the horizon from her vantage point and found nothing. She cursed under her breath and then ran out of the building along with other personnel. Outside she scanned for signs of the explosion, spotting a stream of smoke off a little ways in the distance.

"You've gotta be shitting me." she groaned.

"Lieutenant!"

"Oh what now..."

"Lieutenant Karako!"

Karako's supervisor, Ron, ran to her, panic-stricken. Ron was a bit of a chronic worrier and had a tendency to over-think things and freak out.

"What do you want, Ron?"

"Karako, we're under attack."

"Gee, I couldn't tell by the explosion and that giant-ass cloud of smoke over there."

"This is serious."

"Well I'm being serious about the fact that I already knew. Now calm down and let's get you and my students to safety."

Ron nodded and ran alongside Karako.

"So what do you think is going on?" Ron asked.

"Hell if I know."

There was a burst of gunfire ahead followed by a masked student, armed with a rifle running out from around the corner. Karako sprinted up behind them and downed the armed student with an elbow strike to the back of the neck. Ron caught up with her as she knelt down and inspected the unconscious perp.

"Tut, tut. Looks like terrorists..." Karako muttered, taking the gun.

"If that's the case then everyone except mobile suit pilots are to evacuate the training ground."

"Yep, that sounds about right."

"C'mon then."

"HA! You forget. I'm a lieutenant. I've fought a loooot of battles and shit."

"But you're an instructor and I'm your supervisor."

"As an instructor, I am to make sure my students are safe. I do believe that keeping terrorist assholes away from my students qualifies as keeping them safe."

"Karako..."

"Find Louis and make sure the rest evacuate. Get a move on!" Karako yelled as she ran off toward the hangars.

Ron muttered something about not approving before running off to find the Lieutenant's students.

Kamille grew up in the Gryps (formerly known as Green Noa) space colony and found a hobby in robotics. He became a mech pilot after a chain of events leading to him taking control of a Titans Gundam Mk-II and aiding the AEUG. Kamille's robotics experience coupled with his Newtype abilities make him a highly skilled pilot. His beliefs follow those of the AEUG: The space colonies should be free from Earth.

Name: RX-178 Gundam Mk-II
Type: Real

Weight: 33.4 metric tons (Standard) 54.1 metric tons (Max)

Stats:

Strength: 40
Armor: 45
Firepower: 40
Performance: 35
Mobility: 25
Energy Output: 40
Sensors: 40

Description:
The RX-178 was designed to be a direct descendant of the RX-78-2 from the One Year War both in appearance and function. It features a 360 panoramic viewscreen surrounding a linear "floating" seat which gives the pilot a large view of view. The RX-178 Gundam Mk-II are three prototype mobile suits developed by the Titans in UC 0087. All three were stolen by the AEUG: one kept and repainted while the other two were sent to Anaheim Electronics.

Weapons:
The Mk-II is equipped with two beam sabers while other weapons it can carry (such as a vulcan pod, a beam rifle, a hyper bazooka or a clay bazooka alongside a shield) depend on what is deemed necessary.

Abilities:
Kamille has remarkable intuition thanks to his Newtype abilities and (later on when he can use the Zeta) he can call upon the souls of the departed to aid him in battle.

Signature Moves:
Kamille fires off a barrage of shots with whichever firearm he has equipped.

[Zeta stats for later]

Name: MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam
Type: Real
Dimensions: Overall Height: 19.85 meters, Waverider Wingspan: 18.61 meters
Weight: 28.7 metric tons (Standard) 62.3 metric tons (Max)
Waverider Wingspan: 18.61 meters

Because of this, the suit is able to transform quickly and smoothly even in the midst of battle.

Weapons: The Zeta includes standard weaponry such as head mounted Vulcan guns, dual beam sabers, and a high powered beam rifle. It also has arm mounted grenade launchers which can also be fitted with a grappling hook. If needed the zeta can also carry a large rifle known as the Hyper Mega Launcher in place of its beam rifle.

Abilities:
Waverider mode: The Zeta transforms into a craft which allows greater mobility and speed
Newtype Resonance: Because the Zeta was Kamille's own design, his newtype abilities are more effective (Requires pilot to be in a very driven and determined of mind. Cannot be used right away and is not a passive ability).

Signature moves:
The Zeta Gundam transforms to waverider mode and rams into the enemy (finishing move).

Name: Karako
Gender: Female
Age: 27
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 143 lbs
Rank/Title: Lieutenant
Special: low-level Newtype
Alignment: Good

Bio:
Karako is a mobile suit pilot stationed at the EF Academy as an instructor. She has a feisty personality and can be a bit on the sassy side. She tells things like it is and isn't afraid to speak her mind (with plenty of cussing of course). Karako grew up on Earth, constantly moving to various military bases thanks to her father. She joined the military at the age of 18, hating it until she had the opportunity to pilot a mobile suit. A natural at it, she piloted various suits for the EF over the years before settling down back on Earth to train young pilots. Karako has a very strong protective drive which is her motivation. She does her best to protect those she fights alongside. Karako can't stand the Titans whatsoever but somewhat passive aggressively plays nice with them when necessary. She supports the Autobots since pretty much anyone trying to either destroy everything or take over is on her shit list.

Name: MSN-00100 Hyaku Shiki Demon, or "Demon Shiki" (sometimes Karako refers to it as the "Purple People Eater")
Type: Real
Dimensions: Overall Height: 21.4 meters
Weight: 31.5 metric tons (Standard) 54.5 metric tons (Max)

Stats:

Strength: 50
Armor: 45
Firepower: 30
Performance: 50
Mobility: 45
Energy Output: 40
Sensors: 40

Description: The Demon Shiki is a [mostly cosmetically] modified Hyaku Shiki prototype built by Anaheim Electronics. Its appearance represents that of a mono-eyed demonic warrior painted metallic purple, black, and white. It's also equipped with powerful thrusters to enhance the speed and mobility of the suit. This suit excels in close-combat and was modified to be able to use hit-and-run style tactics.

Weapons:
Kanabo-Nata: A pole-arm weapon reminiscent of a samurai naginatas. One end features a serrated blade while the other is the armor-smashing spiked club of a Kanabo.
Kitty Claws: A pair of long, incredibly durable ninja claws.
Dual Beam Sabers: self-explanatory
Beam Rifle: self-explanatory

Abilities:
This suit is meant for getting in and dealing high damage before getting the hell out. It's fast and it's tough.

Signature Moves:
Armor-buster: The kanabo is used to damage the opponent's armor capabilities. Requires the pilot to be within fairly close range. Can be a very risky tactic depending on the opponent.
Kitty's got Claws: If able to get close enough, the kitty claws can be used to tear apart the opponent(requires both sets) or impale. Again, requires close range.
