Hello Everyone. Welcome to my page. Feel free to call me Ms. Winters Or Major Winters. Most people do. I have been with the guild over three years now. I have many RPs and 1x1s. Feel free to take a look. I am 45 (Yes I know I am older than most). I have been happily married for 24 years. I have two gremlins. I love to read. We started a YouTube channel to share our randomness.
I feel that way as well 100%. Within being here, I feel like my luck has worsened in terms of my roleplay successes and at this point I'm tired of it and even I wonder where I went wrong.
I have always felt I was alone in this after my first year on here. I don't think my skills have decreased but as more people don't be interested in my ideas the more i wonder if it is me.
Hang in there. Though there are a lot of people who won't give the courtesy of letting you know when they leave, there are still a lot of good partners out there. Don't give up on writing. Constantly look to improve and hold onto those who stick with you.
I've had a few disappear without a word. But a few have bothered to tell me they were leaving. It doesn't matter how they leave. Only that my stories aren't interesting enough for people to bother try posting when they can. I can be patient.
hey, just wanted to say, I hope you're doing okay! I saw your status, and I just wanted to let you know that your bad year will get better! Cheers, and hope you feel better :)
Hey there Katherin I used some of your roleplays CSs as a example of what free level CS's look like. I'm doing a casual roleplay a cs legnth was is not near par of my own requirements so I used your roleplays as an example of what belonged in free and not in my own. I didn't mean this in an bad way.
Hey I understand the feeling, I worked hard on getting an new RP written up myself but haven't posted it because of the haphazard condition of the Guild but I'm still here
In response to your latest status, don't. I'm on the brink of losing my writing inspiration altogether, you're still holding up - as long as you're continuously going at it and like what you're doing, just keep on doing it.
Two possible things to contemplate would be picking up a group from regulars in your RP's you can depend on and bounce an idea across them, or having a look at the 1x1 forum - I might be doing that rather soon myself, the more personal nature of that forum might help keep people in.
I've had that issue as well the past few years, biggest question being "what's the bloody point, everyone's going to quit anyways". Honestly, I haven't found the answer - the free section in particular is fickle on that (perhaps throw a few ventures into casual and see what comes?).
Casual's literally one paragraph with some grammar, anyone inclusive shouldn't complain about someone looking to expand a little bit; it's high casual that should probably be avoided (I only take it on rare occasions).
Throw a message to the GM first and see, there's a pretty wide range. Again, I might throw something in that section one of these days, so *shrug*. All up to you, of course, off to work on my end.
WOW. A whole year. I've never heard of that. I am not sure I even remember where we were. Let me see if I can find it.
