@Phantomlink959I am basing it off the movies.

"No this team was not part of the team building experiment. If you want to try it I suppose a second attempt could be made." The director stated. "Yes mistakes were made. By everyone. Yes there will be consequences for the actions." He shook his head. They only had to answer to him and their leaders. He had to explain to the FBI and MIB as well as the president how this had all gone sideways. "Amaya should never have been at the sight. I don't know how she got the information but as an untrained agent she should not have been involved in fieldwork. Something all of you trained agents should have known. Those of you who didn't know that she was new are excused for mistaking her for an actual agent. Griffin is the most senior agent that we have for this area. Since he had the most training and experience in the field he should have been able to handle a shadow demon. I thought Richard's experience working with a team would balance Griffin's inexperience but that was not the case. Unfortunately sometimes things things have to be learned in the field. I want a full report from each of you. I want to know what you learned and what you would do differently if given the chance."
@Phantomlink959 I saw that Amaya was written in as a new recruit. Which is why I am going with her stumbling onto the scene rather than being sent by someone because there is no logical way to explain anyone sending her to the scene when she isn't trained. I didn't like it but I was willing to deal with it. But I don't like everyone acting as if this is an establishment that doesn't know what they are doing. Yes mistakes happen. And yest the director should have been more cautious of who he sent and why. I don't mind you questioning me. I don't mind people pointing out errors it's how we learn and grow. Remember this started with different scene. One I had all planned out. Mason and everything that happened after was kind of thrown together last minute. Everyone but Amaya and Mason should be trained. So it's really Griffin, Argus and Richard who the director is talking to. Most of this I am making up as I go. I don't know the FBI or police procedures beyond what I have seen on tv. But I am trying to go research I have been able to do. Unfortunately most of what wrong is supernatural rather than normal.
Roxy tired not to roll her eyes when Jess panicked at the thought of going out of the house. After being watched for a week one would think the woman would be used to it. It wasn't as if the watchers were going to hurt them. No Jess and her mother were safe. She would make sure of that. But first she needed to get the empath to act less like she is terrified. "Sure whatever you guys want to do. Just think of me as an accessory."

She followed Jess out of the room. She usually gave the empath as much space as possible but they needed to talk without her mom overhearing them. "Jess you need to calm down. It isn't like we are going to be gunned down or arrested when we leave the house. If you don't stop asking like you're about to be caught committing some crime your mother is going to be convinced that I forced you into a life of crime. Take a deep breath. It doesn't matter if they watch us. They aren't going to hurt you or your mother. You're mother can think whatever she wants about me. I don't care." Roxy assured Jess. She couldn't let the older woman's opinion matter. Jess was stuck with her so her mother was going to have to deal with the life she lead. As messed up as it was.

@Searat@Phantomlink959Except that he is wrong. Remember this might be a new department it is based off of the FBI and MIB. BOSA would be set up similarly to them.

1. Amaya wouldn't have been sent on assignment without training. She would have been given the full FBI training which would have given her chance to get used to being around others. She would know tactics and procedure. It would be stupid to send her out otherwise. If she wasn't send (because she didn't actually talk to HQ) she stumbled onto the scene she should still know enough to follow orders.

2. The director has no reason to believe that Griffin wouldn't be a natural leader. Also he is assuming that Griffin has learned a few things about leading others from his sire. Even though he has never personally lead Griffin should know how to take control of a situation.
@LightningMaidenI doubt Mason know technology any better than your character. He doesn't seem to know when he's invited to a meeting.
@RaptraTrue but explaining how she came back is the hard part. Especially without moving the timeline
@Blueflame that was sort of implied when the direct told him to come with him to the meeting. He wouldn't have been told to come along if the director didn't want him in the meeting.

"We tried the team building exercises. They didn't work as well for supernatural as they do for humans. Even those supernatural, like werewolves and vampires who were once human. Besides we do not have time for holding hands and singing camp songs. Everyday the supernatural words is at risk of being exposed to the humans. We all have experienced what happens when humans get hints that any of exist."
The director answered. He was an old supernatural. Some said he was Atlantian. No one knew for sure. Only that many believed he was one of the oldest supernatural around. "Besides that a true leader doesn't need to learn how to lead. While many can learn to lead true leaders were born to it. I was hoping that Agent Griffin would be a natural leader like his sure but he is not."

Griffin winced. He didn't want to be like his sire. He wanted to lead. He wanted to prove himself. He simply didn't know how. "I should not have to tell you how to follow orders Agent Argus. If Agent had followed orders we would not have needed to send a clean up crew to make sure that no one remembered the crash. If Agent Griffin hadn't let the suspect reach the sewer we wouldn't have to repair the sewer because none of you bothered to follow procedure. Following has nothing to do with leaders not knowing up from down or species having bad history between them. It's something you are all supposed to know and follow."
@LightningMaidennot being technology adapt is going to be an issue. Especially since I doubt Mason is much better.
