Feel free to take a look. I am 45 (Yes I know I am older than most). I have been happily married for 24 years. I have two gremlins. I love to read. Roxy tried to figure out how to approach the subject of going to visit her father. Jess would know that she didn't want to go. She had no idea how to convince the empath that it wasn't the worst idea ever. Especially when she thought it was one of the worst things they could possibly do. But there was no way around this. They had to go. It was expected. Not doing it will draw attention. She didn't need or want any more attention.

She had the bike stripped and cleaned by lunch time. She decided to stop for lunch. She could put the bike back together after lunch. She cleaned up. "We should get some lunch. Then I'll put the bike back together and you can call the customer." She debated how to bring up what was on her mind. She didn't know how to talk about something that she wanted to avoid. "There's something I want to talk to you about."

Roxy was up early. She always did. She showered and got dressed. She wore a black t-shirt with black jeans. It was her normal attire. She didn't own much that wasn't black. Once she was dressed she made her way into the kitchen. She started the coffee pot than leaned against the counter to check her email and messages. She never got very many but she checked every morning because the few she did get were were related. Even online she was an introvert. It wasn't that she didn't want to connect but that she didn't know how.

"There's coffee." Roxy assured her. Unfortunately there wasn't another mug. Having lived alone so long she only had one of everything. So Roxy dumped out what little was left in her mug and washed it. She would have to buy more things. Luckily they had the internet for that. "You need to order those headphones today. I will see about soundproofing your room."
Roxy was partly glad that there was a customer. She needed a distraction. A full service was exactly what she needed. "I'll have it done in two hours." She told him. The job usually took longer depending on the model of the bike but the mood she was in she would zip right through it. It would burn some of her frustrations which would help. The customer nodded. He left his number with Jess as she moved his bike into the bay.

She put the bike into a rack to keep it upright as she worked. She didn't talk to Jess. She had no idea what she could say. Howard was right. They had to spend time with her father. Even though that hadn't been the point of their trip. She had met Jess' family it was only fair that the empath met her family.

She wasn't looking forward to it. Roxy could only imagine what the empath would think. He father was one of those people who seemed to be able to charm everyone. No one saw his darker side. Few knew what he was capable of. With the crack in their shield Jess would be able to feel something but Roxy wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. But she did know that it would be very dangerous. And she had no idea how to warn Jess without sending the other woman into a panic.

Hmmm... I'm not sure. Maybe the next day? Devika will need to spend the day at Roxy's shop.
@Searatunfortunately. I'm tired of waiting and I have no idea how to progress.
Well I'm done with groups for now.
