Hello Everyone. Welcome to my page. Feel free to call me Ms. Winters Or Major Winters. Most people do. I have been with the guild over three years now. I have many RPs and 1x1s. Feel free to take a look. I am 45 (Yes I know I am older than most). I have been happily married for 24 years. I have two gremlins. I love to read. We started a YouTube channel to share our randomness.

Roxy wasn't used to people taking care of her. Having Devika do so make her uncomfortable. She pushed the feeling aside as she headed to the door that would lead them downstairs. "You don't have to work in the shop if you don't want to. But you will have to be down there. At least until our connection is strong enough for you to be further way." Which might take awhile considering that the empath was picking up some of her emotions.

The shop had two sides. The right was a waiting area. It had four chairs, a coffee table with magazines, a soda and vending machine. There was also a desk with a computer and chair. One the other side was two bays. One wall was covered with floor to ceiling bins of different sized. The other wall had pegs that held tools. "I'm not going to open the doors today. I planned the next few days to be catch up days."
"There are lots of ways you can build on the connection you have. The question is what would work the best for the two of you." Laura explained. She considered what she knew. There were all kinds of activities that could help them get closer. The problem she saw was that the empath was more open than the anchor. It wasn't unusual. Anchors had to adjust their lives to make room for the empath and that wasn't always easy. Especially if the anchor had built a life.

"I would suggest doing one activity together each week. Take turns choosing the activity. That should help you see what you had in common. That will help you feel closer. Also I will give you a bowl full of questions. Each day I want you to take out one. You both answer the question as honestly as possible." The counselor told them. Roxy wasn't sure about the last one. Sharing wasn't something she had ever done and there were some things she didn't want to share.

Unable to decide what I want to restart I am going to see if there are any interest in my many ideas. I'm taking a vote. Anything that gets four people interested will get an OOC.

"I will try to make sure it doesn't happen again." Roxy assured her. She had no idea how she would do that. She always woke up early and restless. She would have to look for quieter ways to vent. She didn't want to be an inconvenience for Devika. It was bad enough the poor empath had been pulled into her world. She had to find a way to protect the empath from her father. She had no idea how she would accomplish that but she was going to do it.

"Black is fine. Just so you know you don't have to take care of me. I'm a big girl. I've been on my own for a long time." Roxy assured her. She was surprised the empath adjusted to having someone around. She knew she wouldn't have thought to offer the other woman breakfast. She had been taught to be independent. Thinking of others was a skill she hadn't learned until she moved out on her own. "Take your time eating. There's no rush."

"Well its morning. Not sure that it's good or not. We'll just have to see." Roxy responded. She stepped away from the dummy and picked up the hand towel from the floor where she kept it. "I'm sorry for waking you." She didn't know if it had been her emotions or the noise she was making that had woken the empath. She supposed that it didn't matter. Either way she had woken the other woman and it was likely to happen again.

"If you're feeling up to it I would like to go down to the shop today. I can work on backlog items if you aren't ready to interacting with customers." Roxy told her. She didn't want to push the other woman. She couldn't imagine trying to adjust to being around so many people after being alone for so long. Hell she couldn't imagine wanting to. Still she was responsible for helping Devika readjust and get back into the world so she would have to do what she could to help.
Anchor? That was unusual. Most therapists and counselors were empaths because they could feel the emotion of them from their patients which allowed them to understand what their patients were feeling when the patient couldn't express themselves or were trying to lying. Roxy wasn't sure what to feel like or think. She supposed in the end it didn't matter. It was still help Jess adjust to dealing with the world.

"Neither of us is used to sharing space or interacting." Roxy simplified the situation as much as possible. It wasn't possible or necessary for them to talk about her father and the problems he was causing. There was no solution that problem. She would find away to protect Jess. That was her job.

"It's understandable that you would struggle with connecting with someone. Especially when haven't done it in a long time. A lot of empaths struggle with having to deal with society because they haven't had to deal with other people. The longer an empath is in isolation the harder making connections is. That's why we try to match empaths as quickly as possible. Unfortunately that isnt always possible." Laura explained.
