Hello Everyone. Welcome to my page. Feel free to call me Ms. Winters Or Major Winters. Most people do. I have been with the guild over three years now. I have many RPs and 1x1s. Feel free to take a look. I am 45 (Yes I know I am older than most). I have been happily married for 24 years. I have two gremlins. I love to read. "That was an asshole who wasn't supposed to be here." Roxy answered. She tried to calm down. Her anger wasn't helping. She was used to hiding her emotions but that didn't seem to be enough. Not if Devika was picking up her anger. She didn't want to make Devika uncomfortable.

"I'm fine. I can handle him." For the most part. It didn't help that she couldn't defend herself. Vincent had earned the right to touch to a certain extent. He love to push that but she knew he would never cross that line. He wasn't brave enough to risk the consequences. He knew she wouldn't hesitate if he did. She just had to find a way to deal with him.
Roxy shrugged as she headed to the door. "I've never done exercise. At least not the kind your talking about. Or supports. I suppose if you want to try we can. We won't know if we like it until we do." She hadn't ever been normal. All the things Jess missed out on because of her isolation Roxy had also missed out on but for a very different reason.

She made her way out of the house. She held the door for Jess. The driver got out of the car and opened the back door for them. "I seriously doubt we like the same music but it wouldn't hurt to see." She doubted they had much in common. Alright there was a world of differences. Jess had had two parents. She had grown up loved and accepted. She had good memories. Roxy had none of those things. She had been alone in a way Jess' isolation could never simulate.

"As long as you're sure." Roxy commented. She hoped her own lack of appetite wasn't affecting Jess. She tried to think positively. Her father would try to impress the empath. Which meant Jess should only see the best but even knowing that didn't ease Roxy's mind. She worried that the empath would fall for the display. That would pull them both into a world she wanted nothing to do with

"What we do is really up to you. We can do whatever you want to do. After the weekend we can start learning self defense if you want." She hadn't wanted to start before the weekend. Mostly because she hadn't been in the best frame of mind. She didn't want to accidentally hurt Jess while teaching her so she had put it off. To make sure that she could focus on the training. Right now she was too distracted to focus the way she wanted to.
Roxy slammed the door behind Stewart. She took a couple of deep breaths before locking the door. She was sure that the other woman had questions. How could she not? Even if the empath had only felt a small portion of the emotions she experienced there would be questions. Most she couldn't answer without jeopardizing Devika and that wasn't something that she was willing to do. She would protect the other woman as much as possible.

"Sorry about that. I wasn't expecting him to show up today. That should be the last of our visitors for a few days." She assured Devika. She wanted to reassure the other woman that she was safe here even if that wasn't the complete truth. Roxy planned to do what she could to make the empath as safe as possible.
Roxy was alright with them not being able to answer the question. Preparing for the weekend was enough to deal with but she did want to start answering them. She hoped doing so would help her make Jess more comfortable. The more comfortable the empath was the better the bubble would be. Or so she hoped.

She wake up early. She wasn't looking forward to the trip. She didn't want to deal with her father but there was no choice. She got dressed then went into the living room. Roxy went to her knives and slide two into her boot. Even though her fatherand his staff would b eon their best behavior in an attempt to win Jess over, she wanted to be prepared. "Do you want to eat before we leave. The car should be here in about fifteen minutes. "

Roxy lead Stewart to the bathroom. It was the only place they could go to talk alone. She had known her father would find out about Devika. She had expected him to send someone to check on the situation but she had been hoping it would have been someone else. She knew why he had sent Stewart though. The older man knew just how far he could push without getting into trouble with the boss.

He crowded towards her. Anger and disgust flashed through her before she buried her emotions. She trembled when he put his hand on her arms. "Get your hands off me." Roxy growled as she pulled away.

Stewart chuckled and stepped back. He knew she couldn't lash out. Not without endangering Devika. "Your father sent me to tell that he expects you to bring the empath to meet him."

"Tell him they have invented this thing called a phone. He should try using it." Roxy snapped trying to push back but she knew there was only so much she could do without jeopardize Devika. "She needs some time." She told the older man. There was no one the empath could deal with her father. "Especially if he wants to use her. I'll bring her when we're a little more connected. Right now she can't handle it."

"Make sure it doesn't take too long." Stewart said as he opened the door. As if she had some control of how long it took to make sure the bubble protecting Devika was strong enough to keep out all emotions except the ones she wanted to to access. Roxy followed him. She tried to keep her emotions in check as she walked him back to the door.
do we want to skip to the weekend? or do you want them to ask each other a few questions first?
