Hello Everyone. Welcome to my page. Feel free to call me Ms. Winters Or Major Winters. Most people do. I have been with the guild over three years now. I have many RPs and 1x1s. Feel free to take a look. I am 45 (Yes I know I am older than most). I have been happily married for 24 years. I have two gremlins. I love to read. We started a YouTube channel to share our randomness.

I didn't think so. Surely Devika's parents had ideas on what they wanted to do when she returned. They seem like the type to plan things. They would have ideas even if the chances were slim. Or they must have done family activities before she left that they could do. I guess we could skip.
On her vacation? For fun?
Roxy glanced at Jess and shrugged. "Sure." She doubted that she would be able to focus on the music. She stared out the window as the taxi headed down the road. Worrying woukd accomplishment nothing but she couldn't stop herself from doing it. Jess's mom would always be in her life. Even if she was only on the outskirts. As much as Roxy didn't want to admit it the woman's opinion would matter.

She barely noticed the rest of the trip. Which was good for her claustrophobia. She took a deep breath when the cab stopped. She paid the driver and got out. She prepared herself to be judged. Roxy wouldn't bother explaining. One look at her record would confirm whatever her father told the woman. He would stick just close enough to the truth not to be lying. He would want the woman on his side to force her to do what he wanted to do. "Lead the way."
It's a hectic time of year. I understand. I would say whatever Devika's family used to do together. Devika and her family need to reconnect.
Roxy knew that Jess' mother had talk to her father. It sounded like he had made her sound dangerous. Either mentally or psychologically. It didn't matter. The woman was clearly worried about her daughter. Roxy didn't blame the woman. Jess wasn't in the best hands. The empath hadn't gotten the best match. She couldn't change the past. Her father would cause problems until he got what he wanted. He wanted an empath. He was convinced that having an empath would protect the family business.

They left after she closed the garage. She called a cab for them. She wasn't looking forward to the questions Jess' mother was bound to ask. There were things she couldn't and wouldn't explain. That would only add to the woman's worry. Roxy added it to her list of things she couldn't do anything about. She was prepared, or as prepared as she could be, to be disliked by Jess' mom.
"I think my father's gang set it up for people stupid enough to attracted too much attention. As far as I know no one as actually used the place." Roxy explained. She was pretty sure no one ever used the place. Mostly because there hadn't been any food. Not even non pershiables.she figure her father had bought the place years ago and only checked on it ever few years to keep the place up to date. According to the record she found on the place someone had checked on it not long ago so they should be safe for awhile.

"I wouldn't know jack about girlfriend stuff. I just don't want to hear you wine because you can't handle alcohol." Roxy assured him. She didn't understand people who drank. Control was simply too important. "It's late and your drunk. We can discuss the chip in the morning." She saw no sense in discussing anything serious with him tonight. He wasn't capable of deep thought. She would have to wait.
"Morning." Roxy replied. She wasn't a morning person. Coffee would help but it would be awhile before she was in a social mood. Mostly because she wasn't used to dealing with anyone other than Devika this early. She nodded to Tim as she headed towards the coffee pot. She poured herself a cup of coffee. She sat at the table ignoring the food. She watched Tim. He was different from the men she had grown up with. Ir reminded her of just how different she and Devika was."What's on the agenda for today?"

I think so. Do you want me to include it in my post?
Roxy did her best to push her worries to the back of her mind. The there was little point in wasting energy on it. She forgot that Jess could pick it even when she was ignoring it. She knew how to ignore things. Especially things she didn't or couldn't deal with. The walking to the cafe helped stretch her leg. It was good to move after being still for so long.

"Of course." Roxy agreed easily. It was only fair. She was curious about Jess' family and see how they lived. It would be nice to get away from her life. She was sure by now her father had reached out to Jess' mom to smooth things over. No doubt the woman thought she had been a rebellious teen or worse that she was an angry adult who didn't know how to move on. Either way it couldn't be worse than the weekend at her Father's house.
