Feel free to take a look. I am 45 (Yes I know I am older than most). I have been happily married for 24 years. I have two gremlins. I love to read. We started a YouTube channel to share our randomness.

Roxy shrugged. Part of her liked that they were impressed by her skill even though that hadn't been her goal. She looked around. She still thought they should alteration between rides and games. That way they could make the most of the day. She didn't want to go through all the games. Most of them were money pits and weren't worth the time. She didn't want them wasting to waste time or energy.

"Let's try a ride before doing another game." She suggested. A Rollercoaster or something with an open would do. She scanned the lines trying to find one that wasn't too long. "What about that boat thing? It doesn't look too intense?" She pointed at the Phoenix Fury that wasn't far from them. The line wasn't too long so they wouldn't waste a lot of time waiting. She didn't want to waste time. Even though they would be able to spend time together in the future.
"More than you do." Roxy commented. She was surprised that neither of them had found the card before. She supposed they had little reason to pick inside. Still, it didn't seem like the most secure place to hide something. But maybe because it was so obvious few people would think to look there. After all, neither of them had found the chip over the years.

"Now we access the chip." She needed to know what was on the card so that they could decide how to use it. It had to be something important or her father wouldn't be desperate to get it back. Her phone vibrated. She frowned and pulled it out. She had set a tracker to let her know if someone was close. "Damn it." Roxy growled. So much for out thinking her father. Apparently she wasn't as smart as she thought she was. "Decision time Wyn. Run with me or take your chances with my father." Rixy told him as she slide the chip into her pocket. She headed towards the door.
Do we want to do a few games and rides?
Searching
Roxy stormed to the couch. She crossed her arms over her chest. She didn't look at either of them. "You can pull the damn record." She wouldn't have been surprised to learn that the woman had already done that. "When you do you'll see a dozen or so charges but I've never been convicted." She hadn't bothered counting. Mostly because her father always got her out. "You'll see just as many community services or therapy recommendations." Not that she ever did any real community service. Her father had no interest in the community. He thought therapy was a joke. She had been penalized for being caught. "You'll also notice that my record has been spotless since I was sixteen." When she had moved out of her father's house because he had sold her to his partner. "Let's call it teenage rebellion and move on with our lives."
Roxy forced herself nor to roll her eyes and respond sarcastically. She could tell Jess' mom wasn't going to believe her any more than anyone else had. She had a record so it looked like her father was telling the truth. She shook her head knowing that she had been judged and found lacking. Which was too bad. The woman would have to deal with it. It wasn't like anyone of could change the fact they were stuck together.

Roxy stormed down the hall. She couldn't and wouldn't hide her anger. She threw her bag on the bed. She quickly unpacked the action helped her vent her anger but not the hurt. She should be used to being seen as a bad person. It shouldn't hurt anymore but it did. She took a deep breath and shoved her emotions as deep as she could before leaving the room.
Bored
Roxy was relieved when they agreed with her idea. She figured a game would give Mara some time to recover between rides. She followed as they headed towards the first game. She was glad she could give them this time together. She wasn't as uncomfortable as she thought she'd be. In fact she was getting more comfortable with them. Which was probably a good thing. It meant it would be easier for them to visit in the future.

She studied the game as Devika played. She knew the game was rigged. Places like this always were. Roxy stepped up to the game she took the balls. She hadn't ever thrown a ball before so she took a minute to get used to the weight and feel of the ball. The first ball missed completely. The second ball was close. The third ball hit where the pins. "Congratulations. Which prize do you want?" The man running the game said as he indicated to the prize.

Roxy shrugged. She had no use for stuffed toys. "You pick Devika."
I suppose her father's men could be close somehow. I'll have to give it some thought.
