Hello Everyone. Welcome to my page. Feel free to call me Ms. Winters Or Major Winters. Most people do. I have been with the guild over three years now. I have many RPs and 1x1s. Feel free to take a look. I am 45 (Yes I know I am older than most). I have been happily married for 24 years. I have two gremlins. I love to read. "Seeing it would help but no. I don't really care what's on it. What matters is that my father wants it and I have it." It gave her power. Something she she needed. She had just gained control of her life she wasn't going to lose it but she knew if she didn't have some kind of edge that she would lose it. It had been crumbling under her when she had learned of the chip.

"No he doesn't travel with a convey but he does gave several people that he can send after us." Hopefully if they lost them and stayed away from places either of them knew they might be able to avoid capture. Honestly she hadn't thought beyond getting the chip. She hadn't thought she would be acquire it as quickly as she did. "I haven't really thought this out." She admitted. She hadn't planned on having to consider another person.
"I'm fine." Roxy answered. While she wasnt used to places like this she had no problems with the noise or the crowds. It wasn't some place that she would go often but it wasn't some place she minded going occasionally. "I'm not the one who needs shielding." She pointed out as she studied the empath. She was worried that Devika was looking a little pale. Roxy wasn't comfortable saying anything. It wasn't her place. She was suppose to protect the woman from emotions, which she was failing at. "How are you?"

Roxy studied Devika as they headed towards the table. The empath looked pale. They had been here a few hours. That was the most they had been in public. It was a lot but it still felt like a failure because the other woman couldn't spend the day with her family. It had been clear all day that this was something they had done more than once. It was a start but it wasn't enough.

She made her way to the table. She hesitated to sit down. She still felt a little out of place. She wasn't family. She didn't belong but she couldn't go far. After a moment she took as seat as far from them as she dared so they could have some family time.
Lunch isn't a big post. But alright.
I'm not sure exactly what to do. I don't think Roxy would notice Devika's struggle. I'm not sure what to do beyond lunch
"I'm not desperate. I don't care what's on the disc." Roxy assured him. That was a half truth. It didn't matter to her what the material was. What matter was that her father wanted it backly enough to chase her. If it wasn't important or threatening he would just let her have it. He knew she wouldn't do anything to endangered Drake.

"A place with more than one exit would be beneficial but a public place might be our only option." Roxy checked behind them but didn't see any lights. But there was only one road so they hadn't lost them yet. She relaxed when she saw a fork in the road. She took the left road the more branches the harder it would be for them to be found.
Anger swirled around Roxy like a contained tornado. In the center of that storm was hurt. A pain that she denied and hide. It wasn't bad enough that she had been rejected by her parents. Now she had been rejected by Jess's mother. Someone she couldn't avoid. She hadn't been feminine enough for her mother or masculine enough for her father. Now she wasn't good enough for Jess.

Frustrated and needing to vent Roxy started doing a martial art routine. As she practiced her kicks memories flashed through her mind. First she was nine. Her mother had insisted they do a girls day. Even though she hadn't been comfortable with girly things she had been determined to do her best. They had done all the things her mother wanted. She let them fuss with her hair. She had gotten her nails done. She had even worn a dress. It had been one of the few times she had given in and worn a dress but it hadn't been enough. When they got home her mother had looked at her and said. "Roxanne you're never going to be the daughter I've dreamed of. It's better if you be your father's son."

Her mother had filed for divorce that day. Roxy had burned the dress but kept the jewelry as a reminder that she wasn't feminine and to deserve her mother's love. From that day forward she had done her best to live up to her father's expectations. She thought she had done well until she was sixteen.

When she was fifteen, Roxy heard rumors that one of her girlfriends had gotten pregnant. She had paid no attention to the rumor. It hadn't been the first time she heard one. Things changed when tye child had been turned out to be a boy. Her father had a DNA test but she hadn't been worried. They had done this before. But this time the DNA test showed that the boy was her father's and that's when things a second time.

"The boy will be my heir and that's finally Roxanne." Her father told her that day. His second there to witness her rejection. "I have a son. You only have one use to me as my daughter. I will marry you to secure an alliance for me." She had fought him tooth and nail until her birthday when he had taken things out of her control and drugged her.
I don't see Roxy coming out and interacting without a reason. Getting to know Jess' mom is low on her list since it's clear the woman believes Reginald.
