Merlin appeared by the slain body of Ash Williams, he knelt beside the dead man, and laid his hand upon his chest and chanted a spell.
The two vanished and re- appeared on the rooftop of the tallest building in the city.
Merlin used magical arms to move Ash's body to the makeshift altar he created.
The wizard raised his staff In the air, and a thunderstorm began swirling over the city, lightning arching thru the sky.
"Hear me , I am Merlin, king of wizardry, and I command all magic to gather in me here and now!"
He slams his staff down on the roof top with a loud crack of thunder, that even made the ground quake.
Magical colorful lighting danced across the sky, before channeling into a tube like light beam that struck Merlin.
The wizard pointed his finger at Ash, and the beam traveled to him now.
Suddenly a bright magnificent white flashbang erupted throughout the sky.
Ash slowly opened his eyes, misty smoke was all around him, until his gaze fell upon an old man bent over on one knee.
"Hey father time, is this heaven or hell?"
Merlin looked up at the smart mouth hero who was now alive, the spell worked.
Slowly Merlin stood, feeling so drained of energy.
"You don't look so good Gandalf." commented Ash as he stood up.
"Merlin, my name is Merlin, and I saved you, so show a little gratitude. "
"No shit, like....the Merlin? King Arthur, sword in the stone Merlin?" asked Ash.
Merlin sighed, "Yes, that Merlin."
"Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle."
"Yes, I would agree with that , at least the manners of one." replied the old wizard.
"So, what's with this mist?" Ash asked trying to swipe it away..........To be continued.
