@ActRaiserTheReturned Yeah - that was very close. You nearly told them all about Algamax.
@ActRaiserTheReturned Damnit Act - you just bared the mystery to everyone. Now they know who made everything. No more spoilers!
@ActRaiserTheReturned Oh really? Like which gods? As this is Divinus Gaiden I assume we're talking about Earth's gods - like Ra and Akatosh.
@ActRaiserTheReturned Then we are in complete agreement
@Oraculum Hello there! I've seen you stalking round these parts before. Good of you to join us! Don't worry, we bite.

Just to go through the normal procedures for aspiring Divinusians:

I recommend that you read the opening post if you haven't already, and the Summary in the second OOC post. The summary goes up to page 13, so when you finish it you can continue by reading each post's summary from page 14 onward.
We also have a wiki that has some cool stuff that you can check out (link under FAQs).
With that out of the way, you can discuss your character ideas here - you can create a demigod (that's what most people tend to go for), but you are also welcome to create a hero or even a normal mortal - if that's your thing. (Though if you go for a mortal, be aware that a mortal's lifetime is very short and could be over quickly if there's a time skip.) If you want a demigod, it would be a good idea - during this OOC ideas phase - to see which god/s you would like to be his/her/its parents.
Once done, you may begin working on a Character Sheet and submit it here. You will generally get some feedback on the initial sheet here from both GMs and other players. Once all that is done, the GMs will retire to consider your character sheet and either accept or reject it.
@Jarl Coolgruuf Oh you're back - Termite didn't scare you off. *Sigghh...* if you want a job done... *reaches for the fire whip*

@ActRaiserTheReturned As I say, I think the idea - as is the case with your ideas in general - is very interesting. But its gods are very different from Divinus gods.
For instance, you say

...the gods find out that they can manipulate souls and worship to grow even more powerful than they were before...

while traditional Divinus gods have no need for worshippers and are neither strengthened nor weakened by having or not having them. That is unique to demigods. I mean, it could be the case that in that particular universe Fate and whoever was/were with it decided to somehow alter how gods function so they would be dependent on worshippers - but I'm not even sure if that's within their power to do.

I'm not opposed to creating a Divinus RP where the gods have disappeared and there are only demigods/heroes who are worshipped as though they were gods, or an RP falling into any other genre that is set in a Divinus universe but not centred on gods. However, it would have to be consistent with the basics of the Divinus multi-verse. Like gods not being dependent on worshippers. And gods, generally, being far more powerful than any mortal or demigod can hope to be. The interest check says:

The most powerful mortal sorcerer in the world is on par with a god, but these sorcerers who become like gods are NPCs

That is in complete confliction with traditional Divinus gods. No mortal, no matter how powerful or how much of an NPC they are, can match a god purely with sorcery.

Now, this debate has nothing to do with anything of significance - just whether that Divinus will be considered 'canon' insofar as this iteration and the previous two are concerned. If your intention is to create something that should be considered canon, then I suggest you make some changes so that it is more consistent with the basics of Divinus. If you just want to create something fun and standalone and unrelated to 'Canonical Divinus', or another strain of Divinus (a 'Revisionist Divinus' if you will xP) then I have no problem with that at all.

We will be more than happy to embrace it as a heresy and will persecute it mercilessly for many weeks, months, years, decades, and centuries to come! (I joke I joke xDD)
@LokiLeo789 The Divinus multi-universe has a logic to it - which @Vec may or may not reveal in due time. As far as I can see, Act's Revisionist Divinus does not fit that logic - unless those 'gods' he mentions aren't actually gods but heroes.
@LokiLeo789 If you're asking because you want to create Sin there, then don't worry, you can do as you like. But keep in mind that I will not consider it official Divinus canon and will object to attempts to reference it here. If you want to reference Canonical Divinus there, that's up to Act to permit or forbid
@LokiLeo789

Maybe...we should wait...a very long time...
and decide in a few centuries?

Thing is, Act's RP is so far removed from how gods work in 'Canonical Divinus' that it would be hard to see how this 'Revisionist Divinus' could be integrated. The gods in that RP are akin to powerful heroes in Canonical Divinus - who happen to have the ability to eat souls (something that Thulemiz (a hero), can do).
